Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitb durch die erfindungsgemässe Fördervorrichtung,
Fig. 2, 3, 4 und 5 Querschnitte längs der Linien 11-11, 111-111, IV-IV bzw.
Fig. 1 und 2).
Fig. 3).
Fig. 1 und 3).
Fig. 1 und 4).
Fig. 1 und d 5). Fig. 5).
Fig. 5).
Fig. 5).
Fig. 4).
Fig. 3). Fig. 3).
Fig. 4).
Device for continuous pneumatic material conveyance
The invention relates to a device for the continuous pneumatic conveying of powdery or granular material.
In practice, the problem often arises of using an existing pneumatic conveying device to convey powdery or granular material of very different properties. In many cases, there is also the need to be able to change the performance of the delivery device within wide limits without reducing its efficiency and while maintaining continuous delivery. The known För dervorrichtungen do not meet these demands.
The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a device which is suitable for the continuous pneumatic conveying of powdery or granular material, which can be easily adapted to different conditions and is also characterized by high operational reliability.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that around a fixed vertical axis provided with a compressed air main soffit and a material conveying line, a plurality of compressed air supply lines arranged in a circle, each with a separately lockable material inlet. and pressure vessels provided with a material discharge line can be rotated together, the compressed air supply lines and material discharge lines of which are brought up to the circumference of the fixed axis and are connected to the main compressed air line or the material delivery line during a certain angular range of the container rotation.
An essential feature of the conveying device according to the invention is that the loading of the individual compressed air supply lines and the release of the material discharge lines belonging to the individual pressure containers are expediently combined into a single rotating body by the movement of the. collected pressure vessels are controlled and that the release and shut-off of these lines can be done without conventional valves. The device is therefore characterized by a particularly high level of operational reliability.
There is also the possibility, by changing the speed of rotation of the pressure vessel rotating about the fixed axis, to continuously change the output of the conveying device while maintaining a steady conveyance without noticeably reducing the efficiency of the device.
According to an expedient embodiment of the device according to the invention, the lockable material inlet of each pressure vessel can be actuated by a pneumatic control piston, which via a control line during a certain angular range of the container rotation with the main pressure line provided in the stationary axis and during a further angular range with a likewise provided in the stationary axis , vent line connected to atmosphere.
Further details emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment of the invention illustrated in the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the conveyor device according to the invention,
Figs. 2, 3, 4 and 5 are cross-sections taken along lines 11-11, 111-111, IV-IV and V-V of Fig. 1, respectively.
The conveying device shown in the drawing contains a fixed vertical axis 1 about which a rotating body 2 is rotatable and is supported on the fixed axis 1 via two radial bearings 3, 4 and an axial bearing 5. For this purpose, the lower bearing shell of the axial bearing 5 rests on a ring 6 which is fastened to the stationary axle 1 by means of a nut 7. A sealing ring 8 is provided between the ring 6 and the rotating body 2.
In the illustrated embodiment, the rotating body 2 is provided with six pressure vessels 9, which are provided with a porous bottom 10 that tapers conically towards the center of the pressure vessel in question.
The six pressure vessels 9 are assigned a common filling funnel 11, which forms the upper part of the rotating body 2. This filling funnel 11 is annular in its upper area 11a and subdivided in its lower area 1ib into individual, ring-sector-shaped chambers assigned to the pressure vessels 9.
The filling funnel 11 is connected to the individual pressure vessels 9 via a material inlet 12 each, which can be shut off via a valve disk 13. A sealing element 14 is provided on the valve seat to achieve a perfect seal. The actuation of the individual valve disks 13 takes place via a respective control piston 15, which is displaceable in a cylinder 16 and is pressed upwards by a compression spring 17.
The cylinders 16 with the control piston 15 are arranged at the same angular spacing as the pressure vessel 9 on a circle which lies within the upper region 11 a of the filling funnel 11 (cf. FIGS. 1 and 2).
The fixed axis 1 is connected in its upper area to a plate 18 which covers the hopper 11 and carries a nozzle 19 serving for the supply of material to which an opening 20 provided in the plate 18 is connected. In order to seal the hopper 11 upward, the rotating body 2 carries two annular sealing elements 21 and 22 resting on the underside of the plate 18.
The plate 18 is also provided with a through-bearing bore for a drive shaft 23 which carries a pinion 24 which is in engagement with a gear 25 fastened to the inner circumference of the rotating body 2. A rotary drive, not shown, is arranged on the plate 18.
The rotating body 2 carries two ring-shaped insulating material parts 26, 27 which, in the manner explained below, are provided with bores designed for the passage of compressed air or well-designed bores. These insulating material parts 26 and 27, consisting of an insulating material with a low coefficient of friction, lie tightly against the outer circumference of the stationary axle 1 and exert a sealing function which will be explained in more detail below.
As a result of their low coefficient of friction, however, these insulating material parts 26 and 27 allow a slight rotational movement of the rotary body 2 about the fixed axis 1.
A tube 28, which is arranged at an angle and forms part of the material discharge line of the relevant container, protrudes into each pressure vessel 9, the mouth of which is located just above the lowest point of the porous container base 10. These tubes 28 are each screwed into a metallic bush 29, which in turn is inserted into the wall of the pressure vessel 9 and into the insulating material part 26. The pipes 28 and the adjoining hole in the insulating material part 26 thus form six material discharge lines 30 evenly distributed around the circumference, which are brought up to the circumference of the stationary axle 1 (see FIG. 3).
A leash gas feed line 31 is provided in the axis 1, which runs essentially axially, but in its lower part 31a is guided obliquely outwards to the circumference of the axis 1 and is widened in a sector shape (cf. FIGS. 1 and 3).
In the lower part of the fixed axle 1 there is a main compressed air line 32 which is provided with a radially extending line part 32a, to which a widening 32b is attached on the circumference of the axle 1 (see FIGS. 1 and 4).
A compressed air supply line 33 is assigned to each of the six pressure vessels 9, which leads through the insulating material part 27 to the periphery of the stationary axle 1, and the pressure vessel 9 ends at the other end below the porous base 10.
Between the main compressed air line 32 and the material delivery line 31 there is an axially extending auxiliary line 34, via which compressed air can be introduced directly from the main compressed air line 32 into the material delivery line 31, bypassing the pressure vessel 9. To adjust the amount of compressed air entering the auxiliary line 34, a regulating element 36 which can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction by means of a hand wheel 35 is provided in the main compressed air line 32.
The compressed air supply to the main compressed air line 32 takes place via a connection piece 37.
Each control piston 15 is also assigned a control line 38 which is provided in the rotating body 2 and which is also led through the insulating material part 27 to the circumference of the stationary axle 1. A ventilation line 39 connected to the main compressed air line 32 and a ventilation line 40 which is connected to atmosphere via a line 41 running in the axial direction are located at the same height in the stationary axis 1 (cf. FIGS. 1 and 5). The ventilation line 39 and the ventilation line 40 are provided with its widening on the circumference of the stationary axis 1 (cf. FIG. 5).
The mode of operation of the conveying device shown is as follows: The rotating body 2 with the filling funnel 11 and the six pressure vessels 9 are set in a uniform rotary movement about the stationary axis 1 via the drive shaft 23. If one now looks at the processes that take place in one of the six pressure vessels 9 during one revolution, it becomes apparent:
Since there is initially no pressure in the cylinder 16 and the control piston 15 is accordingly pressed upwards by the spring 17, the valve disk 13 initially keeps the material inlet 12 closed. The part of the funnel 11 belonging to the be considered Druckb eh older 9 runs in this period under the nozzle 19 and is filled with material.
The control line 38, which is assigned to the control piston 15 belonging to the pressure vessel 9 under consideration, then comes into the area of the ventilation line 39 (see FIG. 5).
While the rotating body 2 now rotates by the angle a (see. Fig. 5) in the direction of the arrow 42, the control piston 15 of the pressure vessel 9 under consideration is acted upon with compressed air via the ventilation line 39 and the control line 38 and lifts the valve disk 13 from its Valve seat from so that the material inlet 12 is opened. The amount of material that is located in the part of the funnel 11 located above the pressure vessel 9 under consideration falls into the pressure vessel 9 under the action of the gravitational force. This process essentially takes place during the movement of the rotating body 2 by the angle ss (see Fig. 5).
Although the compressed air supply to the cylinder 16 is interrupted in this angular range, the pressure built up in the cylinder is maintained, since the control line 38 is blocked by the fixed axis 1 in the area of the angle ss.
Then the control line 38 of the control piston 15 assigned to the pressure vessel 9 under consideration reaches the area of the ventilation line 40. Via this ventilation line 40 and the line 41 leading in the axial direction and connected to the atmosphere, the cylinder 16 of the pressure piston 15 is activated during the rotation of the rotating body around the Angle y is vented so that the tensioned compression spring 17 guides the control piston 15 and thus also the valve disk 13 upwards, so that the material inlet 12 is closed again. The pressure vessel 9 is now filled with a certain amount of material and hermetically sealed to the outside.
During the further movement of the rotating body 2, the compressed air supply line 53 assigned to the pressure vessel 9 under consideration first reaches the area of the extension 32b of the main compressed air line 32 (cf.
Fig. 4). Compressed air therefore flows through the compressed air supply line 33 into the pressure vessel 9 and, after flowing through the porous base 10, reaches the material in the pressure vessel 9 in finely divided form, so that the material is loosened and becomes fluidized. At the same time, the pressure in the container 9 increases.
As a result of the further rotary movement, the product discharge line 30 of the pressure vessel 9 under consideration then reaches the area of the sector-shaped expansion 3 1a of the product delivery line 31 (see FIG. 3). That holds in the Druckble, he is 9! Material is therefore discharged upwards through the compressed air that continues to flow into the container via the compressed air supply line 33 via the material discharge line 30 of the relevant pressure vessel 9 and the common material delivery line 31. This process takes place during the rotary movement of the rotating body 2 through the angle 8 (see FIG. 3). The compressed air supply to the pressure vessel 9 takes place. on the other hand, since it begins shortly before the goods are conveyed, over a slightly larger angle 2: (cf.
Fig. 4).
If the product discharge line 30 of the pressure vessel 9 under consideration then leaves the angular area 8 formed by the sector-shaped extension 31 a of the product delivery line 31, the pressure vessel 9 is completely emptied. The supply of compressed air to this pressure vessel (angle e in FIG. 4) is interrupted at the same time, since the compressed air supply 33 of the pressure vessel leaves the angular area e formed by the widening 32b of the main compressed air line 32.
The pressure vessel 9 under consideration has thus ended a complete working cycle. The processes in the five other pressure vessels 9 take place in the same way - each offset by 60 degrees from one another. Since at least one still partially filled pressure vessel 9 is always connected to the material conveying line 31 (cf.
Fig. 3), there is a completely kon continuous, uniform promotion of the powdery or granular material. The performance of the device can be regulated within wide limits by changing the speed of the rotating body 2 and by dimensioning the total compressed air and the partial flow of compressed air introduced directly into the material conveying line 31 through the auxiliary line 34.
