Machine for ejecting plastic masses in portions, in particular sausage meat into intestines, cans, bags and tubes. The present invention relates to a machine for ejecting plastic masses in portions, in particular sausage meat into intestines, cans, bags and hoses.
Machines of this type are known in various designs, whereby the filling can be done in portions of adjustable sizes.
In such a known machine, the pla tical mass (sausage meat) is continuously conveyed from a storage container via chambers of adjustable volume into the container to be filled. In other Ma machines, a rocker arm with freewheel and with an adjustable swing range is provided, through whose movement path the amount of the conveyed mass is set.
In these known machines, the delivery rate can be increased, but the performance drops accordingly.
However, this disadvantage is technically due to both the return time of the piston for volume portioning and the return time of the rocker arm in the freewheel system, since the lead times (work operation) are the same as the return times.
In addition to these significant disadvantages, the stringing together of successive portions results in a further disadvantage, for example, the inadequate connection of the filling compounds between the individual portions, as well as air pockets at these points. These disadvantages are particularly important for raw sausage, e.g. B. salami, and can lead to faulty products. It has therefore been tried for years to solve these disadvantages by the electronic control.
In order to achieve the cycle time weights and the calibration impulses between the running times, electro-magnetic clutches were installed, which were electronically controlled. However, the very high number of operations required in practice, which can be up to 180 per minute, cannot be released by the electromagnetic clutches in continuous operation without being destroyed as a result. The cause of this destruction lies in the problem of building up the torque.
As an example, it should be mentioned that with an average torque of 6.4 mkg, a switching frequency X and a running time of one hour, a value is achieved which is three times higher than the value that is the best on the market available electromagnetic clutch is withstood in continuous operation.
To remedy all of these disadvantages mentioned in a machine for the portion-wise ejection of plastic masses, in particular sausage meat, into tubes, intestines, cans and bags, with a working shaft that can be driven by the main motor via a gearbox, which is located between a storage container for (the mass and an exit point for the same a funding body. carries,
According to the present invention, two brakes are seen, of which one part is held stationary and a movable part of one brake can be coupled to a gear wheel that is freely rotatable on the working shaft and rotatably connected to a constantly driven gear, while the other is movable Part of the other brake is slidably mounted on the output shaft, and furthermore a rotatable disc provided with a ring of control elements is connected to the gear wheel and the same is connected to the output shaft,
which disks cooperate with stationary scanning elements, for the electronic control of the two brakes for the drive of the working shaft with conveying element through one brake and for destroying the residual torque of the working shaft through the second brake when the first brake is released.
In the method for operating the machine, which is also the subject of the invention and in which the work cycles are electronically controlled, pulses are generated by the disks that are rotatable with the working shaft and the gearbox and provided with control elements, and by the stationary scanning elements that interact with them. Each pulse corresponds to a certain path of the conveyor and the pulses are fed to a pulse counter and from there to the electronic,
Control of the two brakes according to the desired work cycle for the portion-wise ejection of the Mm-se are used, so that the residual torque when the drive brake is released is destroyed by the simultaneous engagement of the second brake.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the machine, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view of the same, FIG. 2 shows a front view of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a vertical section in the plane of the main shaft of the machine, FIG. 4 a; , Variant of the discharge spout arrangement of the same and FIG. 5 shows a horizontal partial cross-section in the axis of the conveyor element of the machine.
The machine has a housing 1 with a detachable base part 2, with an exchangeable storage container 3 for plastic material being arranged on the top of the housing 1.
The storage container 3 is cylindrical and can be replaced by a container whose bottom 4 is conical or funnel-shaped.
A passage in the bottom 4 of the storage container 3 is located above a funnel 5 through which the plastic mass can reach a screw conveyor 6 of a working shaft 7 of the machine.
The working shaft 7 runs horizontally and is supported in ball bearings B. The screw conveyor 6 is attached to the front end of the working shaft 7. Adjacent to the screw conveyor 6 there is a conical threaded body 9 behind the latter, the threads of which run in the opposite direction to those of the screw conveyor 6.
The threaded body 9 is rotatable in a bore of a fitting ring 59, which is between tween the space 10 containing the screw conveyor 6 and a chamber 11, which is under vacuum, is det.
The space 10 is connected to the funnel 5 so that the plastic mass can pass from the latter into the space 10.
The lower part of the housing 1 accommodates the main drive motor 12, which can drive the working shaft 7 via a planetary gear housing 14 via a belt 13, in that the belt 13 wraps around the latter. A planetary gear 15 is rotatably mounted in the planetary gear housing 14,
whose extended hub ver another planetary gear 16 carries. The gear 15 meshes with a gear 17 which is keyed on the working shaft 7, while the gear 16 meshes with a gear 18 of a bush 19 which is rotatable on the working shaft 7. On the sleeve 19, another gear 20 is keyed, which is firmly connected to the movable part 21 of an electromagnetic brake.
The other part 22 of this magnetic brake is stationary d . H. held non-rotatably.
The movable part 23 of a second magnetic brake works with a part 24 that is stuck on the skin shaft 7.
An electromagnetic clutch allows the Drehver connection between the gear 20 and a gear wheel 25,. The freely rotatable on a secondary shaft 26 is arranged, which latter is arranged parallel to the output shaft 7 below this. A rotatable part 52 of this coupling is keyed on the shaft 26 and allows this auxiliary shaft to be coupled to the gear 25 or to brake this shaft 26 by means of a stationary part 27 when the coupling is switched off.
A bevel gear 28 is keyed on the working shaft 7 and can drive the latter via a bevel gear 29 on a shaft 30. A spur gear 31 at the upper end of this shaft 30 engages with a ring gear 32 which is connected to a rotatable ring part 33 at the upper end of the funnel 5.
The ring part 33 in turn carries a detachable guide element 34 in the form of a conical helical surface which protrudes into the lower part of the funnel 5.
When using a cylindrical Vorratsbehäl age 3, a stirring arm 35 is placed on the bottom 4, which is driven with a vertical shaft 36, which is set in rotation via V-belt 37 from a motor 38 (Fig. 1, 2 and 3) .
The space containing the screw conveyor 6 is housed in a special part 39 (see in particular Fig. 5) that can be removed from the machine for cleaning purposes and contains an exchangeable insert part 40, the inner wall of which has a different shape for various insert parts (compare che Fig. 3 and 4).
In the same way: the front end of the screw conveyor 6 carries an exchangeable head part 41. The insert part 40 and the head part 41 are advantageously made of a plastic with the best sliding properties.
With the screw conveyor 6, which can also consist of plastic, a sealing gear 42 is in engagement, which is rotatably mounted on a vertical shaft 43 in part 39. The sealing gear 42 can also consist of a plastic. The shaft 43 could also be driven by the working shaft 7, the sealing gear 42 then being firmly attached to the shaft 43. But it could also necessarily be driven synchronously by a separate shaft.
In the case of a positively driven sealing gear 42, the same and the screw conveyor 6 could be made of rust-free steel.
According to FIG. 4, the end of the insert 40 protrudes beyond the front wall of the housing 1 so that a tubular grommet 45 can be fastened by means of an annular nut 44.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 5, instead of the embodiment according to FIG. 4, a rotatable pipe socket 46 for twisting off sausages can be connected to the insert 40. A toothed wheel 47 is attached to the tubular sleeve 46 and meshes with a toothed wheel 48 of the auxiliary shaft 26 via an intermediate wheel.
The insert 40 is held in a closure piece 49 in the form of a door that can be swung out laterally out of the housing 1, the pivot axis 50 of which lies laterally next to the part 39 and, in the open position, releases an opening through which the part 40 can be removed.
51 is a vacuum pump, the line of which leads to a vacuum chamber 11 into which a channel 53 coming from the outside opens, which is closed off by a viewing glass 58 on the outside. The vacuum chamber 11 lies behind: the threaded body 9 and this surrounds the working shaft 7.
54 is a control panel for the electronic; Control and 55 a rotary switch. This can be designed as a main switch, or a separate main switch can be installed to energize the machine. 56 is a variator device for the drive motor 12, which is mounted on a cover, not shown, since union and can be swiveled out of the housing 1 with this. A toggle lever 57 is used for manual control of the machine. The sight glass 58 enables the functional control of the machine.
The detachable base 2 brings the discharge cover 45 slightly above table height, the height of the base 2 being dimensioned so that when it is removed from the machine housing 1 to the top of the reservoir 3, it does not exceed 150 cm for the purpose of easier loading of the latter.
The machine is built in a modular system, with six construction variants with the corresponding options.
The discharge spout can be mounted on a curved pipe piece which allows the height of the axis of the discharge spout 45 to be changed in relation to the exit point for the plastic mass.
The chamber 10 enclosing the conveying element 6 is cut and the conveying element 6 only functions in cooperation with a helical feeder element 34 located in the feed 5 and with the vacuum of the vacuum chamber 11 located in the area of the working shaft 7.
The housing 1 of the machine is designed in the area of the feeder curve in such a way that after removal of sealing rings at the feeder curve s / 4 of the entire circumference are open.
60 is a with: the machine housing 1 screwed plate on the inside of the electronic control is attached.
The machine described works as follows: 1. Filling process without twisting.
The main switch is switched on and the machine is energized. The rotary switch 55 is then set to push to the left of the scale, whereupon the main motor 12 is switched on via the first row of push buttons on the switch panel 154 and the desired speed is set by means of the vadator setting 56.
The vacuum pump 51 is switched on with the second row of buttons on the control panel 54, which pump works constantly. A built-in rectifier for the electromagnetic brakes must be set to the pushing and portioning positions with the rotary switch 55.
By actuating the toggle lever 57, the first brake 21 turns on via the limit switch and the gear 18 is stopped. The planetary gear housing 14 now drives via the planetary gears 16, 15 to the gear 17 which is fixed on the working shaft 7 and thus the working shaft 7 with the screw conveyor 6. This pushes the conveyed material transported by the guide element 34 through the funnel 5, for example. B. Meat (sausage meat) through the nozzle or filling tube 45 into the intestine stripped on this. When the toggle lever 57 is released, its limit switch (not shown) turns the brake 21 off and the brake 23 on.
Toothed 17, the working shaft 7, and the screw conveyor 6 are stopped and the filling process is completed. The planetary gear housing 14, designed as a belt pulley, continues to rotate and now drives the gear wheel 18 via the planetary gears 15, 16, which is loosely seated on the working shaft 7. This process remains until the toggle lever 57 is actuated again.
11. Portioning without twisting.
The rotary switch 55 is switched to automatic ge and the main motor 12 and the vacuum pump 51 put into operation. If the machine is equipped with a cylindrical storage container 3, the agitator motor 38 with agitator arm 35 is switched on by means of the third row of buttons on the control panel 54. The automatic scale is located on the right side of the rotary switch 55. The desired portion weight is set with the rotary switch 55.
The entire setting range is 999 units, whereby one unit must be calculated according to the specific weight. The toggle lever 57 is then actuated and the second automatic circuit is thereby switched on via its limit switch.
Cycle 1: The clutch 23 is energized and holds the gear 18 firmly. The planetary gear housing 14 drives the gear 17 and thus the working shaft 7 with the screw conveyor 6 for the meat to be conveyed via gear 15. At the same time, a perforated metering disk (not shown) rotates with the output shaft 7. A stationary scanning head now counts the holes in the metering disc up to the set target value.
Cycle 2: The circuit to brake 21 is interrupted and brake 23 is activated. The output shaft 7 is held and the filling process is therefore interrupted as a result of the residual torque being eliminated. The planetary gear housing 14 now drives the gear 18 via the planetary gears 15, 16.
On the sleeve 19 a perforated disk is in turn mounted, which works with a stationary scanning head, for the purpose of counting the holes passing through the perforated disk until the setpoint value (interval time) is reached, whereupon cycle 1 is automatically switched back. Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 automatically switch alternately until the knee lever 57 is released from the machine operator's knee. The portioning process continues until cycle 2 is completed.
111. Portioning and calibrating: The rotary switch 55 is set to automatic, the main motor 12 is switched on again with the first row of buttons on the control panel 54, and then the vacuum pump 51 with the second row of buttons and the agitator motor 3 8 with the third row of buttons. The rotary switch 55 is now turned to the position positioning and turning and the desired portion weight and the turning speed are set on adjusting knobs of the electronics (not shown) and then the toggle lever 57 is moved out of position
brought the situation. The process now follows the cycle 1 and 2 already described, but when the brake 23 is switched on and the working shaft 7 and thus the conveying process are stopped, the twist-off coupling 52 is switched on. The gear wheel 20 drives the auxiliary shaft 26 via the gearwheel 25 meshing with it via the coupling 52, and the auxiliary shaft 26 via the gearwheels 48, 47. As long as the change in cycles 1 and 11, the coupling 52 remains switched on.
By letting go of the toggle lever 57, the brake 23 is released and with a delay according to: the setpoint setting in the intervening period also switches: the clutch 52 for the twisting device off and the brake 27 on, for example after 1-4 twisting turns of the twisting nozzle 46. This safety device must be built in, since the opening of a casing for sausage formation is only possible when the spout is stationary.
As already described, switch cycle 1 and 2 with the turning device until the toggle lever 57 is released and it swivels back into its starting position.
Instead of a perforated disk or metering disk, a metering disk provided with magnets could also be used, which magnets passing through are counted by a stationary scanning head.
