Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt gemäss der Linie A-A in Fig. 1.
Closure for foldable drop sides of trucks The present invention relates to a lock for foldable drop sides of trucks that abut laterally against stop posts. The known bolt locks have the disadvantage that they are arranged at the top of the side wall and therefore can only be achieved with difficulty by the loading staff, especially with tall trucks or high side walls. Their individual parts are usually also exposed, so that they can be bent and damaged by bumping into them during loading and unloading.
With the closure according to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided. It is characterized by: by a locking rod which is longitudinally displaceable in a hollow stop post and which can be displaced at its lower end by an operating lever which is mounted on the inside of the stop post and protrudes from it at the bottom, and which is a Has closure piece which, in the locking position, on which:
Attached to the side wall, engages through a recess in the stop post in its interior protruding shutter holder.
With this design, the operating lever for the ran lock can be arranged below the loading bridge and is therefore easily accessible. The closure according to the invention is therefore particularly advantageous for trucks with high side walls. The locking mechanism is advantageously hidden in the stop post and thus protected against damage.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows the view of a stop post with the lock for the board walls.
It is a post in the middle of the long side of a loading bridge, so that on the left and on the right one side wall each: abuts and accordingly two locks next to each other or two locking rods next to each other in the same stop post. FIG. 2 shows a section along the line A-A in FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 shows a horizontal section through a stop post with the abutting side walls. The stop post 1 is a rectangular tubular profile which is attached to the floor 13 of the loading bridge in such a way that its cavity is open and accessible at the bottom. It has a stop surface 2 on each side for .die board walls. Of these, only the store holder 3 are drawn, which are firmly attached to or in the side panels. 7e according to the height of the side walls, one or more shutter holders can be arranged.
They can also be combined with a recessed handle. The shutter holders protrude laterally over the side wall and are so: angled, @that they protrude through a recess 4 in the stop post inside.
The lock consists of the operating lever 5, which is attached to the lower end of the stop post inside the latter and whose handle 6 protrudes downward, the locking rod 7 and the locking piece B. The operating lever 5 is attached in its pivot point 9 and articulated with the locking rod 7, preferably via: the connecting tab 10.
The locking rod 7 is guided in the interior of the stop post by guide means 14. The locking piece 8 is designed and fastened to the locking rod 7 in such a way that, in the locking position, the opening through the recess 4 into the interior,
the stop post protrudes over the shutter holder 3 and thus locks the drop side.
In the closed position, the operating handle 6 protrudes horizontally from the stop post. To fold down the drop side, the locking rod 7 is pushed upwards by pressing down the operating handle 6, so that the locking piece 8 releases the shutter holder 3.
At the top, d. H. the end of the locking rod 7 opposite the eccentric lever 5, this preferably abuts against a compression spring, which in turn abuts the end of the upper end of the stop post. The closure is then opened against the pressure of this spring. The pressure fields 11 are stored in a pocket 12, which also serves as a guide for the locking rod 7.
In the case of high side walls, the lock can also be designed with several locking points by attaching several shutter holders to both sides of the side wall and correspondingly the stop post several recesses and the locking rod several. Have locking pieces.
In the example shown, the operating lever 5 is an eccentric lever. This can also abut the locking rod 7 directly without a connecting strap 10. The operating lever can e.g. B. be provided with a toothed segment, which actuates the locking rod via a rack attached to this.
Another possibility is that a horizontally movable operating lever is connected to a bolt with spirals that is guided in a fixed sleeve and that moves the locking rod supported on it when it is turned.
Fig. 3 shows two possible designs of the impact on the side walls on the stop post. In the left half of the figure: the side wall abuts the stop surface 2 'with its inner side edge. In the right half of the figure, the stop surface 2 "lies in the plane of the outwardly directed wall of the stop post. The side wall has an edge profile 15 which is provided with a protruding flange 16 located on the outside of the side wall, which serves as a stop.
This design has the advantage that the side wall of the drop side has a certain distance from the stop post and does not jam with the stop post in the event of a bending of the loaded loading board.
