Motor vehicle with closed box structure and refrigeration unit The invention relates to a motor vehicle with a closed box structure and refrigeration unit consisting of a compressor, condenser and evaporator unit.
The essential prerequisite for supplying consumers with easily perishable goods is that such foods are continuously and adequately cooled at the production site, during transport and at the end consumer.
While satisfactory and economical refrigerators are known for both the producer and the consumer, there is still a lack of transport vehicles in which the goods are kept fresh during transport with little effort.
There are known cooling systems that are suitable for refrigerated street vehicles, but their performance, price, weight and space requirements are not commercially and technically justifiable in relation to the corresponding data of the vehicle itself. This is especially true for vehicles used in distribution traffic.
The cooling systems used in such street refrigerated vehicles have a much too high cooling capacity, which is never fully used even at high outside temperatures, because it is known that the system only needs to be in operation for a short time if the cold room is well insulated in order to To keep the temperature prevailing in the refrigerator compartment at the desired value.
Accordingly, the invention is based on the object of creating a motor vehicle with a closed box structure and cooling unit, which has a lower power and space requirement and a lower weight than the known devices of this type, but in which sufficient cooling is nevertheless effected.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the compressor unit is arranged in the engine compartment or driver's house, the condenser unit is arranged on the vehicle body or in the engine compartment and the evaporator unit is arranged in the interior of the transport space. A particularly advantageous embodiment of a refrigerated vehicle according to the invention is shown in Figures 1 to 3 of the drawings, on the basis of which the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail.
It shows: Fig. 1 is a side view of the refrigerated vehicle; 2 shows a top view of the vehicle according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a rear view of the vehicle according to FIG. 1. In FIGS. 1 to 3 of the drawings, the refrigerated vehicle according to the invention is constructed with the driver's cab 11 and the box surrounding the transport space 12 13 shown.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the refrigeration unit is arranged on the refrigerated vehicle in the following, particularly expedient manner: the compressor unit 14 is located inside the driver's cab 11, the box structure carries the condenser unit 15 and on the upper end of the transport space the evaporator unit 16 is arranged.
The compressor 14 arranged in the driver's cab 11 or in the engine compartment is activated either by means of a releasable coupling, e.g. a V-belt drive and a switching clutch, or driven by the vehicle engine via a switchable auxiliary gear. The above the Füh rerhauses 11 on the front wall of the box structure 13 attached capacitor unit 15 consists essentially of the capacitor 17 and the upstream Ven fans 18 and is housed in the protective housing 19 provided with a barred air inlet 20.
The evaporator unit 16 is within the trans port space 13 laterally offset on the end wall BEFE Stigt and placed in a protective housing 23 provided with air intake slots 21 and air outlet slots 22. It consists of the evaporator 24, the upstream - fans 25 and the moisture filter arranged behind the suction slots 21.
The ver via the lines 26, 27, 28 connected to each other, the cooling circuit forming components of the cooling unit are of the coolant, for. B. Difluor- dichloromethane (CF2C12), flowed through. Here, the compressor 14 compresses the coolant and conveys it to the condenser 17 for cooling.
From there it arrives at the evaporator unit 16, where it is initially relaxed by means of a pressure reducing valve in line 28 by means of a pressure reducing valve located in line 28, and is thus greatly undercooled, and is converted into saturated vapor or liquid gas, which is gasified again in the evaporator coil while absorbing heat . The coolant introduced into the evaporator coil extracts a certain amount of heat from the cold room air directed through the coil and thus cools the cold room air. From the evaporator 16 it enters the compressor 14, and the cycle begins again.
The described cooling unit is expediently dimensioned so that the air exiting through the slots 22 of the evaporator unit 16 has a temperature of approximately +2 C, while the air entering through the slots 21 has a temperature of up to +10 C. The desired temperature is monitored by means of a thermostat inside the transport space, which preferably controls the connection and disconnection of the compressor via the compressor coupling.
In vehicles with a transport volume of 10 to 12 cbm, the power requirement of the compressor is practically negligible, especially in continuous operation, compared to the usual engine output. The power supply of the electric fans as well as the temperature controller and any other electrical auxiliary circuits can be made from the existing generator of the vehicle engine or the battery.
In Fig. 1, the arrows f1 and f2 indicate the setting in the transport space air circulation, which is supported by appropriate baffles in the box interior Ren. The flow is generated essentially by means of the fans 25. In addition to the circulating flow, locally limited cold zones are generated inside the box by means of the auxiliary system explained below.
This auxiliary system is arranged in a vehicle according to the invention in such a way that a cold air curtain is generated along the inside of the access door 29 to the transport space. The veil is illustrated in Figure 3 by arrows f3; it prevents outside air from entering when the transport area is open.
The auxiliary system consists, as can be seen from Fig. 1 to 3, from which the housing 23 of the evaporator unit 24 is connected, preferably provided with a controllable flap channel 30, which is arranged in the loading area of the upper edge of the access door, directed downwards Nozzles 31 leads.
The system is activated automatically when the access door 29 is opened and closed. i.e. for example, switched on and off by operating a switch or a shut-off valve.
Here, the air flow forming the cold air curtain can be increased by means of an additional fan.
In another, not shown embodiment of the invention, the capacitor unit is arranged in the engine compartment of the motor vehicle between the vehicle cooler and the fan. With this arrangement, the box-like front structure for the capacitor unit on the front of the box structure is omitted; The fans 18 are also unnecessary.
Furthermore, the auxiliary system for generating the cold air curtain can be modified and arranged in such a way that, in addition to the door zone, it also supplies other limited areas of the cargo space in which particularly heat-sensitive goods are to be stored with cold air.
