Die obere Ausnebmung 11 ist teils mit einem Innengewinde 14 versehen, in das ein axial durch- bohrter Nippel15 eingeschraubt ist. Eine überwurf- mutter 16 ist lose und drehbar,auf dem Nippel15 ,angeordnet;
Device for shampooing, in particular automobiles The present invention relates to a device for shampooing, in particular automobiles.
The device according to the invention is characterized by a water jet pump with a water inlet opening, a suction opening and an outlet opening for the water and the sucked in medium, connection means for connecting the inlet opening to a pressurized water tap, one to the Suction opening of the water jet pump connected suction line for connection to a storage container for shampoo,
a non-return valve built into the suction line, an adjustable racking element, if desired, to change the passage cross-section from the suction line to the suction opening of the water jet pump and means for connecting a hose line to the outlet opening of the water jet pump.
Further features and details of the device emerge from the following description and the associated drawing, in which, purely by way of example, a preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated, FIG. 1 shows the essential parts of a pubic area. Device partly in view and partly in longitudinal section, Fig. 2, a cross section along the line II-11 in Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 shows, in addition to Fig. 1 , part of the Schampun suction line with built-in check valve in a longitudinal section.
The device shown has a body 10 whose external shape is partly prismatic and partly cylindrical. The body 10 is axially drilled through, namely it has two end recesses 11 and 12 with a relatively large diameter and between them a connecting hole 13 designed as a Venturi nozzle considerably smaller width.
The upper recess 11 is partially provided with an internal thread 14 into which an axially drilled nipple 15 is screwed. A union nut 16 is loosely and rotatably arranged on the nipple 15 ;
it serves to secure a flange 18 of the Nippe% which is provided with a sealing washer 17 . 15 liquid-tight fan d. The mouth of a commonly used pressure water tap (not shown) that has an external thread for screwing on the union nut 16 .
The end section of the nipple 15 lying in the recess 11 carries a rubber cap 19 with a passage gap 21 arranged between two lips 20, which lips 20 form a check valve, which prevents a flow of liquid from the recess 11 to the bore of the nipple 15 .
The lower recess 12 of the body 10 contains a sight glass 23 through two diametrically opposed windows 24 that are worked into the body 10 are visible. The viewing glass 23 is a short piece of glass tube, one end of which is sealed against an inner shoulder of the recess 12 with the aid of a sealing ring 25 .
In an internal thread 26 of the recess 12, a thread, dering 27 is screwed, which with the interposition of a sealing ring 28 on the other end of the glass tube piece < B> 23 presses. At its lower end opposite the nipple 15 , the body 10 is provided with an external thread 29 which, in a known manner, enables the connection of a not shown, flexible hose that is provided with a coupling nut that fits the thread 29 .
A radial bore 30 opens into the bore 13 designed as a ventari nozzle, as can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2. This bore 30 forms the suction opening of a water jet pump, which passes through the recesses 11 and 12, the nozzle 13 and the bore 30 </ B> is formed.
The recess 11 is the water inlet opening of the water jet pump, whereas the mouth of the recess 12 is the outlet opening for the orifice and the medium sucked in through the suction opening 30 is.
The outer end of the suction opening 30 merges into a larger threaded hole 31 , into which an axially drilled through nipple 32 is screwed. The latter serves as a guide for a needle 33 which reaches into the suction opening 30 with its one pointed end. The diameter of the needle 33 It is greater than that of the suction opening 30, and the needle is part of a threaded spindle 34 which has an internal thread 38 of the nipple 32 is engaged.
By turning the spindle 34, the tip of the needle 33 can be moved more or less deeply into the suction opening 30 , whereby the passage cross-section from the bore 31 is changed to the suction opening 30 . The needle 33 is therefore a regulating organ. For easy turning of the spindle 34, its outer end expediently carries a rotary head or handle, not shown.
By means of a union nut 35 screwed onto nipple 32 , a stuffing box 36 can be pressed axially against a sealing ring 37 , which is applied sealingly against the threaded spindle 34.
In the body 10 there is one, the nozzle bore 13 immediately - bore 40 (Fig. 2), which the threaded bore 31 with a second, similar union threaded hole 41 connects. In the latter, the one with an external thread. provided end of a pipe section 42 is screwed in, which is a constituent part of a suction line connected to the suction opening 30 .
The end of the pipe section 42, which faces away from the body 10, is screwed to the housing 43 of a non-return valve 44, which is located in the course of the suction line. A sieve 45 is also built into the valve housing 43. A hose 46 int detachably attached to the valve housing 43 is intended to be connected to a storage container (not shown) for liquid shampoo.
The use and operation of the described device is as follows: With the help of the union nut 16 , the device is attached to the mouth of a pressurized water tap. The hose 46 of the suction line 42, 43, 46 is immersed in a shampoo storage container. If the pressurized water tap is now opened, the water flows between the lips 20 into the recess 11 and then through the narrow nozzle 13 into the sight glass 23 < / B> and further through the hose connected to the thread 29 .
The known effect of the water jet pump creates a vacuum in the suction opening 30 , with the result "that liquid shampoo from the mentioned storage container through the suction line 46, 43, 42 and the bores 41, 40, 31 and 30 sucked in and mixed with the water jet at. With the help of the hose connected to the threaded part 29 , the mixture can be mixed directed to the object to be shampooed.
By turning the threaded spindle 34, the regulating needle 33 can be adjusted forwards or backwards, whereby the passage cross-section from the bore 31 to the suction opening 30 is changed. In this way, you can regulate the proportion of the shampoo mixed into the water jet as required. The windows 24 and the sight glass 23 allow a visual assessment of the pubic mixture.
The check valve 44 in the suction line prevents the penetration of water into the Scham- pun storage container in the event that the hose line connected to the threaded part 29 for any reason, e.g. B. by stepping on it is locked. The Rückschlagventü formed by the lips 20 has the task of preventing any penetration of Schampun into the Druckwiasserleitung ver.
In an embodiment variant not shown, two or more suction lines could be attached to the body 10, which lead to separate storage containers. In this case, each of the suction lines would be. with its own and individually operated shut-off roligan, e.g. Valve, and all suction lines would be connected to the threaded hole 31 via separate bores in body 10 .
The regulating member 33 would then be common to all suction lines. This last-described embodiment variant allows two or more shampoo additives to be mixed with the water jet either one after the other or at the same time.
