Description
Air shut-off device for an air delivery line, in particular for shelters The previous shut-off devices for air delivery lines in shelters consisted of a valve that was actuated by means of a spindle. These shut-off devices were not suitable for quickly shutting off suddenly occurring air pollution or air mixed with dust in the vicinity of shelters. They were also relatively expensive and had the disadvantage of great aerodynamic drag.
The subject matter of the present invention avoids these disadvantages and is characterized in that the flap held at two diametrically opposite points is arched on the jacket and is provided with at least one circumferential groove in which an elastic sealing ring is located on the side of the axis of rotation is used, which causes a seal between the flap and housing hole when pivoting the flap by means of a lever in the closed position.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in several exemplary embodiments. It shows: FIG. 1 the view of the valve in the housing designed as a valve ring, in the closed state, FIG. 2 a vertical section along the line AA in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 the view of the open valve in the valve ring, FIG the side view of the open valve with a section through the valve ring,
Section BB of FIG. 3, FIG. 5 the top view of FIG. 3 of the open valve and the valve ring, FIG. 6 the top view of FIG. 4 of the valve ring with the valve closed, FIG. 7 a section according to line CC of Fig. 1,
8 and 9 show a detail according to FIG. 7 with and without deformation of the sealing ring.
The air supply lines 1 have radially de bends which are fastened to a flap ring 8 with the aid of flanges 2. The circular flap 5 rotatable in the flap ring 8 is mounted on bolts 3, 4. The depth of the Kläppenringes 8 or housing is smaller than half the valve diameter. A lever 6 above the valve ring is attached to the bolt 4, which is used in one direction, namely in the direction of the arrow Q in FIG. 6, to open the valve by hand. 7 is a stuffing box.
Screw holes in the flap ring 8 or housing are designated by 8 '(FIG. 7).
Two grooves 9 in the flap 5 are intended for attaching a hollow rubber ring 10, which is designed like a hose in its outer part. The grooves are curved inwards in their outer part, but groove-shaped with flat surfaces in their inner part. The inner part serves to introduce a flat, tire-shaped rubber foot 10 ', while the arched tubular rubber ring 10 with its hose cavity 10 ″ comes to sit on the arched part.
The gum miring is fabricated lengthwise and the free ends are connected to one another by vulcanization. The 10 "cavity contains air only.
With the flap closed as shown in FIGS. 2, 7 and 8, the rubber ring 10 is deformed in its hose-like part in the event of a blast of air outside the protective space. He comes partially ge against the shoulder edge 11 of the shoulder groove 11 'to lie in the gap 13 (FIG. 9) created by the crowning of the outer annular surface of the flap 5 and then seals so that no air permeated by gases and dust enters the Protected space can enter, provided that the lever 6 is pivoted by hand in good time. The ring surface 12 acts as a pressing edge.
A ridge 14 and a clearance 15 facilitate the rotatability of the flap. The seal is effective from both sides, which is indicated by the arrows P and P2 in FIG.
