dass die Feder zwischen dem Kniehebelsystem und dem feststehen den Bolzen so angeordnet ist, dass sie nicht nur das Bestreben hat, das Kniehebelsystem in die Ausschalt- stellung zu bringen, sondern auch den einen Achsbol zen des Kniehebelsystem;
34 von Hand be tätigen.
Electrical switch The present invention relates to an electrical switch with at least one fixed and one movable contact member and a mechanism coupled to the last rem for quick closing of the contact by manual actuation of the switch and for automatic quick opening of the contact by releasing a lock.
In known switches of this type, a spring is initially tensioned when switching on by manual operation of the switch, while the movable contact member is temporarily locked by a pawl or a toggle system. If the spring is tensioned enough, the lock is suddenly released, after which the energy stored in the spring quickly closes the contact. By manual actuation, a second spring is tensioned when switching on and locked by means of the aforementioned lock in the tensioned state. The second spring is used to open the contact itself when the lock is released. This process can e.g.
B. triggered by an electrical protection device that speaks to a heightened temperature, to an increased current or to a change in electrical voltage, as is known per se.
The object on which the invention is based is to create a switch which uses one and the same spring both for rapid closing and for rapid and automatic opening of the contact.
In a known manner, use is made of a mechanism which is coupled to the movable con tact member toggle system, which consists of two levers pivotably connected to one another by a knee joint, a spring associated with the toggle system, which tries to move the toggle system into its off position to bring a hand-operated power transmission device to move the toggle system into its on position and a movable lock stop,
which can be brought into an effective position for locking the toggle system in the switched-on position and in an ineffective position for releasing the toggle system for the purpose of automatic opening: the contact.
The novelty of the switch according to the invention is that the ends of the two levers of the toggle lever system facing away from each other are guided by means of two axle bolts (pivotable and displaceable in guide slots of a stationary housing part, which guide slots enable the toggle lever system to assume its extended position, even if one or the other axle bolt is held against displacement,
that the spring between the toggle system and the fixed bolt is arranged in such a way that it not only tends to bring the toggle system into the disengaged position, but also the one Achsbol zen of the toggle system;
s to move in the guide slots assigned to it in the direction towards the second axle bolt, and that the movable Liche locking stop in its effective position locks the second axle bolt in the guide slots assigned to it in a position shifted towards the first axle bolt, but to move it to the United States releases in the assigned guide slots when the locking stop ainnimimt its ineffective position.
Further details of the switch emerge from the subclaims, from the following description of an exemplary embodiment and from the accompanying drawing, in which purely exemplary and schematically one of the numerous possible forms of embodiment of the switch is illustrated.
1 shows a switch provided with a switch-on pushbutton, in vertical section and in the switch-off position; Fig. 2 is an analog representation at a certain point in time during the switching on of the switch; 3 shows the switch in the on position; 4 illustrates the automatic triggering of the switch in the event that the switch-on pushbutton is held in the depressed position.
The switch shown has a fixed contact member 11 and a movable contact member 12 which, for. B. by means of an only schematically indicated insulating arm 13 with a shaft 14 verbun is the. The latter is rotatably mounted in two side plates, which form a fixed part of the switch and are not shown.
The shaft 14 carries an arm 15 which is coupled by a joint 16 to a link 17, which in turn is connected to a toggle system 18, 19 in Ver. The toggle lever system consists of two levers 18 and 19 which are pivotably connected to one another by a toggle joint with a pivot pin 20. The same pivot pin 20 is also used to connect the toggle lever system to the link 17.
The end part of the one lever 18 facing away from the knee joint pin 20 has an axle bolt 21 which is guided in two guide slots 22 in the plates so that it can rotate and move. In an analogous Wei se the end of the lever 19 facing away from the knee joint pin 20 is seen ver with a second axle bolt 23 which is rotatably and slidably guided in two other guide slots 24 of the boards.
The guide slots 22 and 24 are designed in such a way that they enable the toggle system to assume the extended position, even if either the axle bolt 21 is held at the upper end of the slots 22 or the axle bolt 23 is held at the lower end of the slots 24.
A spring 25 is wound around the lower axle bolt 21 at a distance. One of the spring legs of the spring 25 is attached to the knee pivot pin 20 by means of a hook-shaped end piece, while the other spring leg is supported on a bolt 26 fastened in the sinkers. The spring 25 tends to move the toggle pin 20 both upwards and to the left in the drawing, whereby the toggle lever system 18, 19 would be brought into its off switching position.
With the upper axle pin 23, a coupling link 27 is connected, which in turn is through a joint 28 with one arm of a two-armed support lever 29 in connection. The support lever 29 is pivotable about an axis 30 fastened in the plates. The other, free arm of the support lever 29 is considerably longer than that which is connected to the coupling link 27. In the pivoting range of the longer arm of the support lever 29 is a movable locking stop 31 which is formed by a half-shaft rotatably mounted in the plates. The lock stop 31 can be rotated into an effective position in which he limits the pivotability of the lever 29 in the direction of rotation of the clockwise.
By a small rotation of the lock stop 31 this can ever be brought into an inoperative position in which the lever 29 is released to pivot in the direction of rotation of the clock pointer. Two wings 32 and 33 are attached to the catch 31. With the former, electrical protection devices, not shown, such as thermal, magnetic and differential triggers, can work together. The other wing 33 can be opened by a release button. 34 operate manually.
To turn on the switch, a manually operable power transmission device is available, which consists of an angle lever 35 and a push button 36 switch. The angle lever 35 is pivotable about an axis 37 fastened in the plates and has a slot 38 in its one leg, with which a push button 36 penetrates the bolt 39 in engagement. The other leg of the angle lever 35 is intended to cooperate with the toggle lever system 18, 19 in order to bring the latter into its switched-on position.
The use and operation of the switch described NEN is as follows: In the off position, the parts take the position shown in FIG. The toggle lever system 18, 19 is buckled with its knee joint 20 in the drawing to the left. The movable contact member 12 is therefore lifted from the fixed contact member 11, and the contact is open. The Sperran strike 31 is in its operative position, and the spring 25 pushes the toggle pin 20 both to the left and upwards, whereby the lower axle bolt 21 is raised to the upper end of the slots 22 via the lever 18. The upper axle pin 23 is located at the lower end of the slots 24.
To turn on the switch you press the push button 36, whereby the angle lever 35 is pivoted against the direction of rotation of the clockwise. The angle lever 35 pushes the knee joint 20 to the right, the two axle bolts 21 and 23 wanting to move away from one another in their guide slots 22 and 24. However, the upward movement of the upper axle pin 23 is prevented by the locking stop 31, which makes it impossible to pivot the support lever 29 in the clockwise direction. The upper axle pin 23 is thus fixed in its position. Only the lower axle pin 21 can be moved in its guide slots 22 against the influence of the spring 25.
When the toggle lever system 18, 19 is stretched, as shown in FIG. 2, it is in an unstable state of equilibrium and the spring 25 is tensioned to a maximum value. If the push button 36 is pressed just a little further down, the toggle lever system quickly tilts into its switched-on position, the entire lever 18 being raised under the influence of the spring 25 and thereby the knee joint 20 being deflected to the right. Finally, the lower axle pin 21 finds a stop at the upper end of its guide slots 22.
During this process, the spring 25 is only partially relaxed. As a result of the described movement of the knee joint 20 to the right, the shaft 14 has been rotated by means of the link 17 and the arm 15 so that the movable contact member 12 now rests on the stationary contact member 11 and the contact is closed. The contact is closed just as quickly as the knee lever system is buckled to the right.
The push button 36 remains in its depressed position, whereby the switching state of the switch is visually signaled.
To bring the switch back to its off position, you can press the release button 34 by hand. As a result, the half-wave serving as a locking stop 31 experiences a slight rotation in the direction of rotation of the clock pointer by means of the wing 33. The locking stop 31 comes into an ineffective position in which it releases the support lever 29. The locking effect on the upper axle pin 23 thus ceases. The force still stored in the spring 25 causes an upward movement of the knee joint 20 and the entire lever 19, the upper axle pin 23 sliding in its guide slots 24 upwards.
The toggle system 18, 19 is now moved back directly into the switch-off position according to FIG. 1 under the influence of the spring 25 beyond the extended position. This results in the contact 11, 12 opening quickly. Due to the knee joint 20 going to the left, the push button 36 is lifted into its starting position via the angle lever 35, whereby the actual switching state of the switch is visually signaled again.
The knee joint 20 going to the left also pulls the upper axle bolt 23 in its guide slots 24 downwards by means of the lever 19, whereby the support lever 29 is pivoted back into its starting position according to FIG.
The automatic switch-off by an electrical protection device takes place in the same way, with the only difference that the locking stop 31 is now not actuated by means of the wing 33 and the release button 34, but from the locking device via the wing 32.
If you hold the switch-on pushbutton 36 in the depressed position during the automatic triggering of the switch, the contact 11, 12 is opened quickly. This case is illustrated in Fig. 4 ver. The locking stop 31 is in its inoperative position. He has released the support lever 29 and thus the upper axle bolt 23. The force still stored in the spring 25 pushes the knee joint 20 to the left until it strikes the angle lever 35.
The toggle lever system 18, 19 has now not quite reached the extended position. The knee joint pin 20 was able to move sufficiently far to the left to rotate the shaft 14 via the link 17 and the arm 15 so that the movable contact member 12 could occupy a sufficient distance from the stationary contact member 11. The contact 11, 12 is therefore open, although the parts of the switch are not yet in their off position.
If you finally let go of the push button 36, the remaining force stored in the spring 25 pushes the knee joint 20 all the way to the left, with the push button 36 being lifted into its starting position via the angle lever 35.
The switch described has the advantage that only a single spring is required, which both switch the rapid on and also causes the switch to be triggered quickly.
