Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des rückwärtigen Endes der Ladebrücke eines Lastfahrzeuges, wobei sowohl die seitliche als auch die rückwärtige Bordwand mit einer Verschlussvorrichtung nach der Erfindung ver sehen ist; Fig.2 die Verriegelungseinrichtung der erfin dungsgemässen Verschlussvorrichtung entsprechend dem Bildausschnitt II in Fig. 1 in gegenüber Fig. 1 vergrössertem Masstab;
Fig. 4).
Locking device for folding side walls of trucks The invention relates to a locking device for folding side walls of trucks witnesses, in particular of motor vehicles and their trailers, in which a locking device for firmly connecting the upper wall corner with a post or an adjacent wall is provided and the Locking device can be actuated with an operating lever placed in the lower area of the side wall or the post.
A locking device for hinged drop sides has the main task of reliably securing the drop sides against falling down while driving. In addition, however, it should still be possible to use the locking device to exert an additional locking force on the side wall. The cargo often exerts a force opposite to the closing direction on the side wall from the inside, so that a considerable amount of force is required in the final phase of the closing movement of the side wall. This force should be able to be applied at least in part with the locking device.
For this purpose, a locking device has been proposed which has a locking device which consists of an eyelet attached to one of the parts to be connected and a bolt mounted to be longitudinally displaceable on the other of the parts. To move the bolt into or out of the eyelet, the operating lever, which is pivotably mounted on the same part as the bolt, is connected to the bolt by a push rod linked to the operating lever. To achieve a closing force, the bolt can be provided with an inclined surface or an eccentric.
According to the invention, the locking device is improved in that the locking device consists of a swivel hook which is non-rotatably connected to a rotatable, but axially displaceable shaft mounted on one of the parts to be connected, and a hook abutment firmly attached to the other of the parts to be connected , and that the operating lever is also rotatably connected to the shaft.
With the locking device according to the invention, because of the length of the swivel hook, an additional closing force can already be generated when the drop side is still removed from its closed position by a relatively large swivel angle. By appropriately dimensioning the length of the swivel hook and the operating lever, the additional closing force can reach a very high value. Furthermore, the closure device according to the invention is structurally very simple. The operating lever does not need to be pivoted on the board wall or mounted on the post or articulated to a push rod.
It is single Lich non-rotatably attached to the shaft carrying the pivot lever.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a side view of the rear end of the loading bridge of a truck, both the side and the rear drop side being provided with a locking device according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows the locking device of the closure device according to the invention in accordance with the image section II in FIG. 1, on an enlarged scale compared to FIG. 1;
3 shows a plan view of the detail according to FIG. 2 in the direction of arrow III in FIG. 2; 4 shows a detail of FIG. 2 according to section line IV IV in FIG. 2; and FIG. 5 shows a section through the operating lever of the locking device according to the invention and through its latching element, corresponding to the section V-V in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale compared to FIG.
In the drawing, 1 is the frame of a loading bridge of a truck. With a since union and with 3 (Fig. 3) a rear side wall is designated, which are hingedly connected to the frame 1. In addition, posts are firmly attached to the frame 1, which serve to hold and attach the foldable drop sides. From the drawing, a corner post 4 can be seen, which is arranged at the rear end of the frame. The posts expediently have a hollow box profile with a lateral stop flange 4a for the side walls, as can be seen from FIG.
The board walls 2, 3 have box-shaped closed hollow frame profiles, which are designated in the drawing with 2a, 2b, 2c and 3b, respectively. Furthermore, a middle res stiffening profile can also be present, as indicated in the case of the side board wall 2 in FIG. 1 at 2d. The vertical frame profile 3b of the rear drop side is provided with a stop flange.
To close the side walls 2, 3 swivel hooks 6 are each seen at their upper corners. Each swivel hook 6 is non-rotatably connected to a shaft 7 which is rotatably but axially immovable on the side wall 2 or 3. To mount the shaft 7 on the side board wall 2, a bearing eye 8, which is attached to the vertical frame profile 2b and a bearing bush 9 which is inserted into the upper frame profile 2a. On the rear side wall 3, the shaft 7 is mounted in Lagerau gene 10 and 11, which are attached to the vertical frame profile 3b.
Each swivel hook 6 is assigned a fixedly arranged hook abutment 12 on the post 4, in which the swivel hook engages when the locking device is closed. With the lower end of the shaft 7 a respective operating lever 13 is rotatably connected. For this purpose, the lower end of the shaft 7, as can be seen from FIG. 1, can be made conical. On the cone is a United connecting piece 14 by means of a lock nut 15 rotatably clamped firmly. The non-rotatable connection can, however, also be designed in any other way. The United connecting piece 14 also serves to prevent displacement of the shaft 7 upward by bearing on the bearing eyes 8 and 10, respectively.
The swivel hook 6, which rests on the bearing bush 9 or the upper bearing eye 11, resists a downward displacement. The fixed connection of the hook with the shaft 7 can be achieved by welding, as indicated at 16, or in any other way who the.
In the illustrated embodiment, the hook abutment 12 is formed in an advantageous manner as verti cally arranged pin 17, as can be seen from Fig.2-4. As FIG. 3 shows, this pin is engaged from behind by the swivel hook 6 in the closed position of the locking device. To hold the pin 17, a support plate 18 is welded onto the post 4, which laterally protrudes beyond the post. An angle bracket 19 is fixedly connected to the protruding part of the support plate 18 (see FIG. 4).
The pin 17 is firmly inserted into the horizontal leg of the angle bracket 19 and the protruding part of the support plate 18.
To secure the operating lever 13 in its position corresponding to the closed position of the locking device, a latching member 20 is expediently provided (FIGS. 1 and 5). The operating lever 13 is advantageously designed together with the locking member 20 so that it can be released from the locking member solely by elastic bending. For this purpose, in the drawn Ausführungsbeispie len as a locking member, an angle piece is provided, which protrudes with an angle leg 20a in the pivot path of the operating lever 13, as shown in FIG. 5 of the drawing.
The operating lever has a bent section 13a (Fig. 1) in which it has a flat profile, which is arranged with its broad sides in the pivot plane of the operating lever. 1 shows that the operating lever 13 can be bent as a result of the partial design as a flat profile in the direction of the arrow 21 and can thereby be lifted upward out of the angle piece 20, 21a.
The operating lever 13 preferably consists entirely of a flat profile, which at 22 is twisted by approximately 90 ° at the bent section 13a. A side surface of the twisted portion 13b rests on the inside of the towering leg 20a of the angle piece 20, so that the operating lever is secured against pivoting in the opening direction.
Appropriately, a pin 23 and a menarbeitende with this opening 24 (Figure 5) are provided on the adjacent side surfaces of the operating lever and the Win angle piece. Either the pin 23 is firmly connected to the operating lever and the opening 24 is provided in the angle leg 20a or, conversely, the pin is firmly inserted into the angle leg and the opening is arranged in the operating lever. By inserting the pin 23 into the opening 24, the operating lever is secured against unintentional pivoting upwards and thus against unintentional disengagement.
The mode of operation of the locking device according to the invention is as follows: When the drop side is folded up, the locking device is in its open position, i.e. This means that the operating lever 13 is pivoted forward from the plane of the characters (Fig.l) and the pivot hook 6 is rotated backwards accordingly. As soon as the drop side is essentially in the closed position, the operating lever is pivoted towards the drop side. As a result, the swivel hook 6 engages behind the pin 17.
Since the length of the operating lever 13 is a multiple of the length of the swivel hook 6, a considerable additional closing force can be applied here, which brings the drop side into its final closed position. To enable the pivoting of the Schwenkha kens 6 behind the pin 17, cutouts 4b, 4c are provided on the post 4 or on the stop flange 4a (FIG. 3).
To secure the operating lever 13 against unintentional pivoting back into the open position, it is bent upwards in the direction of arrow 21 in Fig. 1, lifted over the upper edge of the angle leg 20a of the locking device and behind this angle leg by pushing the pin 23 into the opening 24 secured. To open the drop side, proceed in reverse order.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment. In particular, the swivel hook with the shaft and the operating lever can be attached to the Festste existing post instead of the side wall, the side wall then carrying the abutment. The locking device can also be used to firmly connect two board wall sections.
In addition to the advantages already mentioned, the locking device described is characterized in that all of its parts can be arranged so that they do not protrude laterally beyond the profile of the drop side, as FIGS. 3 and 5 show particularly clearly.
