Description

Screw The present invention relates to a screw, ca acterized in that its head is pierced with at least one hole whose axis is inclined relative to its fixing rod and which is intended to provide passage for the rod of an anchor element.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, several embodiments of the object of the invention. Figs. 1 to 4 represent, seen in elevation with parts in section, these different embodiments.

The embodiments of FIGS. 1 and 2 are screws for wood, respectively wood-metal, with a countersunk conical head 1, of which the rod 2 has a partial thread 3. The heads of these screws are drilled with a hole 4 (fig. 1), respectively two holes 4 (fig. 2), the axis of which is inclined relative to the conical rod 2. The holes 4 provide passage for anchoring elements which can be simple nails 5 without a head or with a flat head, or small screws. The anchoring elements 5 which are driven or screwed into the wood after screwing the lead screw 2 ensure the latter, due to the di vergence of their respective rods, against any accidental unscrewing. The holes 4 can advantageously open into the slot 6 of the screw head 1.

Fig. 3 shows a round projecting head screw 11 drilled with a threaded oblique hole 14 into which a threaded plug 15 is screwed.

Fig. 4 shows a screw bolt, the hexagonal or square head 21 of which is pierced with an oblique tapped hole 14 in which a threaded plug is screwed 15. It is clear that in all the embodiments, shown or not, the action of an anchor element, nail, screw or plug, integral with the screw and penetrating obliquely into the material to be fixed effectively prevents said screw from unscrewing accidentally. The inclination of the hole receiving the anchoring element can advantageously be 20 to 45 relative to the fixing rod.
