Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf die erfindungsgemässe Einrichtung,
Method and device for labeling vessels, in particular bottles
The patent relates to a method for labeling containers, in particular bottles, using two or more labeling machines which are operated by a common filling or filling machine.
Closing station can be fed.
With the previous devices of this type, the work process made it possible that the labeling machines could not simply be set up next to each other, but the entrances were separated by bottle transport routes and therefore the machines could not be monitored by a common operator.
Rather, this had to be in order to get from one machine to another, e.g. B. crawl under the respective transport path of the bottles. It was probably already planned to arrange two labeling machines with different directions of rotation in mirror image to one another, with the transport routes then being on the outside and the operator being between the two machines. However, this is also unfavorable in terms of space and operation and can only be used on two machines.
The present invention has a way to operate several of the same Füllbzw. To make sealing station from fed labeling machines much easier. The method according to the invention for labeling vessels, in particular bottles, using two or more labeling machines that are fed from a common filling or closing station consists in that the vessels are located along paths located on only one side of all labeling machines conveyed and removed by deflection devices from the individual labeling machines rotating in the same direction of rotation to and from them.
The new method and the associated device are explained in more detail with reference to the figures, which represent an exemplary embodiment.
Show it:
1 shows a plan view of the device according to the invention,
FIG. 2 shows, on an enlarged scale, the top view of a deflection device of the arrangement according to FIG. 1.
In the figures, 1 is the schematic floor plan of a filling station with an associated closing device 2. 3 indicates a transport path which picks up the bottles coming from the filling and closing station and feeds them to a distribution table 4. The latter also serves as a buffer to compensate for fluctuations in the bottle throughput of the individual workstations.
In the example assumed, two transport paths 5 and 6 are fed from the distribution table 4, the first of which leads directly past two labeling machines 7 and 8, while the second runs parallel to the first transport path 5 on the side facing away from the machine. The labeling containers are indicated with 9, the bottle tables with 10 and the supply and discharge stars for the two labeling machines 7 and 8 with 11. Between the two machines 7 and 8 there is a deflection device 12 in order to transfer bottles from one conveyor belt 5 to the other 6 and vice versa. The deflection device 12 is drawn out in FIG. 2 in an enlarged form of a mallet. It consists of a central bottle star 13 that rotates in the direction of the arrow.
The star 13 is six-pointed in the example and interacts with two further three-pointed stars 14 and 15 of the first and second conveyor belts 5 and 6 and with a switch-like part 16 of the otherwise fixed guide track 17 for the bottles in the deflection device.
Bottles which arrive on the feed path 5 in the direction of the arrow from the left in FIG. 2 have, as can be seen from FIG. 1, been detected and labeled by the machine 7. They are fed to the star 13 with the aid of the corresponding gripping star 14 actuated by cam controls or the like and, when the switch 16 is pivoted in (dashed position), deflects them around in an arc and feeds them to the output section of the transport path 6. Conversely, unlabeled bottles that arrive on the transport path 6 from the left are also fed to the star 13 by the gripping star 15 and are fed from this in a curve to the exit section of the transport path 5.
For this purpose, the switch part 16 is brought into the extended position shown in FIG. 2 at a suitable moment by an auxiliary control (not shown). The bottle, which was already resting on the conveyor belt 5 a little earlier, is thereby passed on to the transport path 5 and arrives at the machine 8 (FIG. 1), where it is then properly labeled. Behind the second labeling machine 8 (FIG. 1), both transport paths 5 and 6 therefore only lead labeled bottles, which are then picked up by the collecting table 18 and transferred to a box roller conveyor 19, where the final packaging and removal takes place.
The movements of the stars 13, 14, 15 take place automatically and analogously always in such a way that the bottles of both paths are alternately grasped by the teeth of the star 13.
If more than two machines are to be set up next to one another, appropriate deflection devices must be provided between each two machines, which must then be set up so that the corresponding unlabelled bottles are fed to each machine. Are z. B. three machines 7, 8 and 20 (indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 1), the first star 12 is to feed the bottles coming from the machine 7 to the conveyor belt 6, while the bottles coming from the entrance of the transport path 6 are controlled in this way that of two consecutive bottles one of the machine 8 and a second one in a circle is returned to the track 6. In the part of the path 6 between the deflection devices 12 and 21 there are therefore alternately labeled bottles from the machine 7 and unlabelled bottles from the entrance of the path 6.
By means of the deflection device 21, the corresponding renewed deflection then takes place in such a way that the labeled bottles of the machine 8 are in the output part of the web 6 and the unlabelled bottles of the intermediate section of the web 6 between the devices 12 and 21 of the machine 20, while those already labeled in of the deflection device 21 in a circle back onto the web 6. This means that there are again only labeled bottles at the exit of the two tracks 5 and 6, which are then carried away via the collecting table 18 to the box roller conveyor 19. The same applies to more than three labeling machines.
