Description
Mobile, electric kitchen machine The present invention is a mobile, electric kitchen machine with a motor and a PTO shaft for interchangeable tools.
Experience with kitchen machines of the type mentioned has shown that a number of tools which can be coupled to the power take-off shaft of such kitchen machines are not without risk, which is not the case or is less true for others. In particular, mixer units with chopping knives represent a not inconsiderable danger for the operating people, while, for example, stirrers or whisks can be handled largely without risk.
The present invention is based on the object to provide a kitchen appliance of the type mentioned, in which the risk of coming into contact with the tool concerned is largely excluded, with additional means can be seen in front of these fuses in the Ver use of safe kitchen tools ineffective.
The kitchen machine according to the invention is characterized by a toggle switch located in the motor circuit, which is arranged so that it interrupts the motor circuit when the angle between the power take-off shaft and the vertical exceeds a critical angle.
In the drawing, an example Ausfüh approximate form of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a section through the lower part of the food processor, with which a mixer unit is coupled GE; Fig. 2. A partial section through the same food processor, with which, by means of a two-th PTO, a swing arm is coupled and Fig. 3 shows an electrical scheme.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the motor 2 housed in the housing 1 has a coaxial PTO shaft 3, with the coupling piece 4 of which a mixer unit 5 can be coupled. A toggle switch 6, designed as a mercury switch, is built into the electrical circuit of the motor and is bridged by the contact 8 that can be actuated by the contact piece 7.
The fastening sleeve 9 of the mixer unit 5 has a collar 9a, which is arranged and dimensioned in such a way that it does not affect the contact piece 7 when the mixer unit 5 is inserted, so that the contact 8 remains open and the circuit of the kitchen machine motor 2 is only closed if the angle of the motor axis with respect to the vertical is the limit angle, ie does not exceed the angle at which the toggle switch interrupts the circuit.
If a harmless tool, for example a swing arm 10, is to be connected to a second power take-off shaft (not shown in more detail in the drawing) and the first power take-off shaft that includes an angle exceeding the critical angle, the first power take-off shaft 3 is connected to the position le of the sleeve 9 covered cover 11, whose collar 11a is higher than that (9a) of the connecting sleeve 9 of the mixer unit 5, so that, when the cover 11 is inserted, this collar 11a serves as a contact element,
to press the contact piece 7 against the action of the spring 12 against the motor 2, so the contact 8 closes and thus the toggle switch 6 short-circuits. In this operating position, the engine circuit is therefore closed, regardless of the angle that the PTO makes with respect to the vertical.
This means that if a tool is coupled to the first PTO shaft, the drive is interrupted as soon as the limit angle, i.e. H. a certain angle between the PTO shaft or the tool and the perpendicular is exceeded, while when a tool is driven by the second PTO shaft, this PTO shaft or this tool can be brought into any position without the drive being interrupted would.
