Oil accumulator The present invention relates to an oil accumulator, intended in particular to allow variations in the pressure of the oil contained in an oil circuit. This accumulator is characterized in that it comprises an expandable gas reservoir and a passage to through the bottom of the accumulator for filling and discharging the oil, an elastic cup mounted between < B> the tank and the passage and acting as an elastic cushion to protect the tank from direct contact with the passage and prevent the tank from being forced into it by the internal pressure of the gas,
this cup rotating its concavity upwards and retaining oil so that the latter forms a cushion of oil from which the oil is expelled outwards along the circumference of the cup when the reservoir is expands to come into contact with the bottom of the cup, the latter having an internal curvature smaller than the external curvature of the bottom of the reservoir when the latter initially comes into contact with the cup in order to retain said cushion of oil.
The appended drawing represents, to by way of example, two embodiments of the accumulator object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the first embodiment.
Figs. 2 and 3 are partial sections corresponding to that of fig. 1 and showing various positions of certain elements.
Figs. 4 and 5 are partial sections of the second embodiment.
The pressurized oil accumulator shown in fig. 1 to 3 consists of a container 10 whose ends are semi-spherical and inside which is mounted a gas tank < B> 11 of a shape similar to that of the receptacle. The gas tank 11 is made of elastic and oil-tight synthetic rubber and is arranged in such a way that its expansion and contraction are controlled almost exclusively by the gas tank. elongation and contraction of its longitudinal central line.
The container 10 comprises at its lower part a device for charging and discharging the oil, comprising a valve with flap 2, a helical spring. - cdidal 6 intended to absorb the shocks produced when closing of the valve, and a hemispherical cut 1 </ B > made of soft synthetic rubber, elastic and waterproof to oil, mounted on valve 2 to act as a protective cushion for the gas tank 11.
When the oil pressure in the oil circuit decreases, the gas tank expands and flushes: oil out of the container 10 through valve 2 until said tank comes in contact with the cup 1. It then pushes valve 2 down through cup 1 and, finally, closes valve 2 to stop the oil from escaping. container.
If the oil leaks out of the container 10 to through valve 2 due to an imperfect closing of the latter or for any other cause, the gas tank expands even more when pushing the cup 1 towards the bottom until it forms a disc which rests against the valve and the bottom of the container, as shown to fig. 3, thus preventing any oil leakage.
If the valve were not fitted with a cup, the gas tank, during its expansion to close the valve, would directly touch the latter and strongly press its bottom against the sharp angles of the protruding parts of the valve. and its seat 3. In addition, during the expansion of the reservoir, the membrane constituting its bottom could envelop the valve and would be caught and pinched between the valve 2 and the seat 3 . The tank would be easily damaged and could rupture.
It is clear that the flexible cup 1 mounted on valve 2 never allows the reservoir to directly touch the valve and acts as a soft cushion against the protrusions of valve 2 and seat 3 . It also prevents the reservoir from enveloping valve 2 and getting caught between it and its seat. Fig. 3 clearly shows the role of the cut for an extreme expansion of the reservoir.
Furthermore, after the gas tank has started to squeeze the cup as shown to in fig. 2, up to its extreme expansion shown in in fig. 3, the oil retained in the cup is squeezed and forced out around the rim of the cup, so that it acts as a lubricating cushion to make the sliding contact between the reservoir and the reservoir smooth and regular. cutting, while avoiding direct contact and friction that could damage the surface of the tank. To keep the oil in the cup 1 forming a protective cushion, the internal curvature of the cup 1 is smaller than the external curvature of the bottom of the tank 11 when this bottom initially comes into contact with the cup.
This eliminates all unfavorable factors, the reservoir ensuring smooth and precise operation of the accumulator over a long period of service.
In the second embodiment (fig. 4 and 5), more particularly suitable for an accumulation of oil under low pressure, the cup serves not only as a protective cushion, but it also replaces the to check valve to close the oil circuit. In this case, valve 2 is omitted, with section 1 placed directly above an oil discharge port 8 located at < / B> the lower part of the container 10.
Fig. 5 shows the position of the cup 1, which acts as a cushion for the reservoir 11 and which covers and closes the 8, discharge lumen for extreme tank expansion 11. The cup thus serves as a control valve for the discharge of oil. In this case, it is clear that the oil retained in the cup 1 also constitutes an oil cushion like in the first relative execution form to oil under high pressure. The cup therefore protects the gas tank and ensures long lasting safe service for low pressure oil.
