Beispiel I
Fluorubin Farbe 2-Chlor-rotstichig gelb 2-Methyl- gelb 2-Methoxy- rotstichig gelb
Fluorubin Farbe Benzo(b)- rotbraun
Bis-chinoxalo [2,3-b]-[2,3-e]-oxazin gelb
Beispiel 2

Use of quinoxalo compounds in agents for the coloring treatment of textile structures
From the series of the usual azo, condensation and anthraquinone dyes, numerous compounds are known which can be used as yellow pigment dyes; However, they do not meet the increased fastness and processing requirements of modern pigment application technology: the azo pigments are generally inadequately resistant to temperature, light and plasticizers, the condensation dyes are too susceptible to sublimation and not resistant to solvents; In the case of the anthraquinone pigments, the inadequate brilliance and purity of the color are a problem.
It has now been found that bis-quinoxalo [2,3-b] - [2,3-e] - 1,4 - dihydropyrazines, - 1,4 - oxazines and / or 1,4-thiazines are excellent pigments in Means for the coloring treatment of textile structures can be used. The agents containing these pigments give predominantly yellow to orange-red shades of vivid brilliance, excellent color fastness and good color strength. These compounds belong to the type of fluorubine and can be identified by the basic formula
EMI1.1
reproduce. In this formula, X means = NH (quinoxalodihydropyrazine structure), = O (quinoxalooxazine structure), or 5 S (quinoxalo-thiazine structure).
In the basic formula, all carbon atoms identified by 1 to 4 and 8 to 11 can contain hydrogen. The externally fused benzene rings A and / or E can, however, also have 1 to 4 or 8 to 11 substituents in the carbon atoms, predominantly in the 2- or 3- or 9- or 10-position, namely one alkyl, alkoxyl or halogen each, such as methyl, methoxyl and chlorine. Of the substituted compounds, among others, those which in the fused benzene rings A and / or E in the case of X have Nil in the 2- and 1 or 3-position or 9- and / or 10-position are particularly easily accessible.
If only one of the two rings A or E is substituted with two chlorine atoms, the other, as indicated above, can contain either only hydrogen atoms or substituents. The type and / or number of the substituents in rings A and E can accordingly be identical or different. One of the rings A and E or both can also be fused to a further benzene ring, for example in the 2,3-position of the ring E, while ring A is not or, as indicated above, mono- or disubstituted.
The simplest representative of this class of compounds for X = NH is fluorubine. It is characterized by its clear greenish yellow hue, excellent lightfastness and excellent plasticizer and solvent resistance.
The shade shifts slightly to reddish yellow with increasing substitution. On the other hand, the annealing of a benzene ring, for example on ring E in the 2,3-position, has a greater influence on the inherent color of the pigment.
The above-explained compounds containing the structure of the quinoxalodihydropyrazine, quinoxazine or thiazine can be present as pigments with average particle sizes of more or less than 0.1 st. Larger particles, for example from 0.5 to 1 μm in size, generally result in a more reddish tint and more opaque pigment than smaller primary particles, for example from 0.02 to 0.07 μm
Substances or mixtures of substances which contain a pigment of the formula shown above or their substitution products or mixtures thereof are suitable as treatment agents.
The pigments can be used in textile printing inks of all kinds, e.g. B. in the doughs and pastes customary for textile printing, in paste-like or liquid preparations together with dispersants, etc. They can also be contained in binders and coating agents for textiles.
The treatment agents can be obtained by methods known per se, e.g. B. in the usual way by stirring, rolling, kneading, grinding or mixing the pigment into liquids, viscous masses or powders.
The bis-quinoxalo-dihydropyrazines and -oxazines, which are present as coloring constituents in the treatment agents, can be obtained quite generally by reacting 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline compounds with 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline or ortho-amino-hydroxyquinoxaline compounds, with elimination of 2 moles of hydrogen chloride obtained with the formation of a new six-membered, heterocyclic ring.
The previously known method for the preparation of fluorubine consists in fusing the two reactants at temperatures up to 2700 C. However, the process only gives yields of 50 to 606 / o of theory of reaction products whose purity is insufficient for pigment purposes. Apart from the difficult handling of the melts, which solidify almost completely at the end of the reaction, the use of a large excess of one of the reactants as a melting agent is unfavorable from an economic point of view.
2,3-dichloroquinoxalines, which can be used for the production of the pigments, are in addition to the 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline itself z. B.
2,3,6-trichloroquinoxaline,
2,3, 6,7-tetrachloroquinoxaline,
2,3-dichloro-6-methyl-quinoxaline,
2,3-dichloro-6-methoxy-quinoxaline,
Benzo- [g] -2,3-dichloroquinoxaline.
The o-diamino compounds with which the 2,3-dichloroquinoxalines can be reacted are, for example, the
2,3-diaminoquinoxaline,
2,3-diamino-6-methyl-quinoxaline,
2,3-diamino-6-methoxy-quinoxaline and 2,3-diamino-quinoxaline containing a further fused benzene ring. Instead of the 2,3-diaminoquinoxalines mentioned, the corresponding 2,3-amino-hydroxyquinoxalines can be reacted with the 2,3-dichloroquinoxalines.
Although chlorine, methyl and methoxy groups are preferred as substituents in the pigments, z. B. Ethyl and ethoxy groups may be present as substituents. Instead of these or as additional substituents, radicals are suitable which do not interfere with the preparation of the compounds used as pigments and are not hydrophilic.
All parts and percentages given in the following examples are based on weight.
Example I.
10 parts of an aqueous pigment paste containing 200/0 fluorubine with an average particle size of 0.5 to 1 u are mixed in the usual manner with a binder consisting of 35 parts tragacanth, 10 parts dimethylolurea, 4 parts 300% aqueous formaldehyde solution and 41 parts of water was mixed. A printing ink is obtained which, after printing at 110 ° C., when dried, for example on viscose silk fabric, gives prints with a bright greenish yellow shade, high color constancy and lightfastness.
If a smaller mean particle size than indicated above, for example 0.1 u, is desired, the pigment dye is subjected to a conventional comminution process by the action of grinding and gravity, for example salt grinding, if necessary in the presence of Water or solvents, or a reprecipitation from concentrated sulfuric acid in ice water or a swelling in an organic solvent.
Other nuances can be used e.g. B. obtained by the following substituted fluorubines or oxazines:
Fluorubine Color 2-chloro-reddish yellow 2-methyl-yellow 2-methoxy-reddish yellow
Fluorubine color Benzo (b) - red brown
Bis-quinoxalo [2,3-b] - [2,3-e] -oxazine yellow
Example 2
5 parts of an aqueous pigment dough with a content of 200 / o fluorubine, which has been brought to a particle size of 0.3 c by grinding in the presence of common salt and freed from common salt by washing, are in a mixture consisting of 22 parts of about 400 / above aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of 50 parts of acrylic acid-ss-chloroethyl ester,
40 parts of methyl acrylate and 10 parts of acrylamide in 78 parts of water, 2 parts of 256% above aqueous ammonia solution, 11 parts of a 500% above aqueous solution of tetramethylolacetylenediurea and 26 parts of a 400% aqueous solution of ammonium polyacrylate are stirred in. Then 1 part of 500% aqueous ammonium nitrate solution and 345 parts of water are added. A cotton fabric is padded with this dye liquor. After drying at about 600 ° C. and after-heating to about 1300 ° C., a uniform, greenish yellow coloration with high color strength and constant color and very good lightfastness is obtained.
Example 3
100 parts of a dyestuff paste which contains 250/9 fluorubine and has been obtained in the manner described in the last paragraph of this example are mixed with the following emulsion. 400 parts of gasoline hydrocarbons with a boiling point of 120 to 1600 C are stirred into a mixture consisting of 210 parts of a solution of 5 parts of an addition product of 20 to 25 moles of ethylene oxide with octadecyl alcohol, 5 parts of tragacanth and 30 parts of an approximately 600 / above solution of a still good water-soluble, partially etherified urea-formaldehyde resin in 170 parts of water and 250 parts of a 500% aqueous plastic dispersion of a copolymer of 20 parts of acrylonitrile,
75 parts of butyl acrylate and 5 parts of an ether of methylol methacrylamide. Then 40 parts of a 200% aqueous ammonium nitrate solution are added. The printing paste obtained in this way is used to print fabric made of cotton, polyester or other fibers, dry at 60 to 80 ° C. and condense at 100 to 145 ° C. This gives prints of a bright greenish yellow shade, excellent color constancy and lightfastness, which are also excellent Trichlorethylene fastness distinguish.
The dyestuff paste mentioned in the previous paragraph was obtained in the following way: An aqueous dye paste containing 25 parts of fluorubine is slurried in 400 parts of methanol, refluxed for 2 hours, filtered off with suction and dried. The fluorubine is then kneaded with 5 parts of an adduct of 20 to 25 moles of ethylene oxide with octadecyl alcohol and 70 parts of water until the particle size is around 1 u.
