Method for producing a coolant connection for directly cooled winding bars of electrical machines When using directly cooled stator windings, the production of the coolant connection to the stator winding bars equipped with cooling channels causes considerable difficulties, especially when it comes to connecting liquid coolant acts.
In this case, insulating connections are required that are completely tight and show no leaks or loss of mechanical and electrical properties even after many years of operation. Metallic connections have already been proposed, but they require numerous, complicated soldered connections.
The shortcomings of the known can be avoided if, according to the invention, with the help of flexible hoses, channels are left out in the filling liquid of the insulating cap, through which channels the coolant flows to the cooling channels of the winding bars. The simple and reliable method is suitable for both distant synthetic rods and waveguide rods and conductor bundles separated from one another by channels, which consist of individual conductors twisted by 180 in the groove.
The drawing shows embodiments of the subject invention He simplified again.
1 denotes 1 conductor bundle, 2 individual conductors the bundle, 3 solder lugs and 4 cooling channels, which can be produced between the conductor bundles with the aid of spacer bars or channel-shaped intermediate pieces. Flexible inserts, e.g. B. natural or synthetic rubber or silicone rubber hoses 5 inserted, which are closed on one side at a.
The hoses run through a coolant connection piece 6 of an insulating cap and are connected to a compressed air container 7 or a container that contains a compressed liquid.
As soon as the insulating cap is in the prescribed position, the hoses are inflated with compressed air so that they seal well in the cooling channels of the winding bars and in the coolant connection piece. With a vertical winding arrangement, the insulating cap, which is also provided with a seal 8, which rests on the winding end insulation 9, is now filled from the side. As filling compounds 10 are preferably low-viscosity, commercially available synthetic resins with fillers, which cure either at room temperature or at elevated temperature.
The insulating cap can consist of a polyester glass combination, hard polyvinyl chloride or another suitable material. The resins used as filling compounds must remain sufficiently elastic at all operating temperatures and resist the electrodynamic stresses without cracking. In the case of a horizontal winding arrangement, the casting resins can be poured in through an opening c in the insulating cap.
FIG. 2 shows a section in the direction A of FIG. 1, and the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals in both figures.
3 and 4, which represent a section in the direction A of FIG. 3, show the relationships corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2 for distanced Röbel rods 11. A copper filler piece is designated by 12 in FIG. 3, and a sealing pin is designated by 13, which is required for horizontal casting.
After the casting resins have hardened, you can proceed as follows: Leave the sealing hoses in the filling compound. In this case, it is advantageous to use a material that adheres well to the resins as the hose material. In the area of the cooling channels, the hoses can be attached to the wall by coating the hose ends with an adhesive before inserting them.
After the resins have hardened, the hose ends are opened at points a (FIGS. 1 and 3), for example by applying excess pressure. So that these openings are in the right place and completely, the hoses can be provided with constrictions d (FIG. 5).
If a material is used as a hose material that does not stick with casting resins, e.g. B. silicone rubber, it is possible to pull the hoses out of the casting again after emptying. This is achieved very easily with the help of a tensile tear cord 14 (FIG. 6). The hose can then be turned inside out and returned to its original position so that it can be used several times.
Furthermore, it is possible to achieve the necessary recesses in both coolant connections of a winding bar with the same sealing tubes. For this purpose, the hoses are inserted into the cooling channels in such a way that they protrude sufficiently on both sides. Such an arrangement is shown in FIG. The hoses 5, which are closed on one side, are filled with the compression medium during the impregnation processes to insulate the winding bars 1 and during the potting of the two coolant connections, so that they seal the cooling channels well.
When the winding bars are inserted in the stator, the eyelets are soldered and the coolant connections are poured out, the hoses are removed again with the help of the tear cord 14. This is then possible without difficulty even if the winding bars have narrow bends and turns.
Finally, FIGS. 8 and 9 show, for example, the manner in which the hoses 5 can be connected to the coolant supply and discharge lines 15.
The following synthetic resins known under the name Orlimother (registered trademark) are particularly suitable for impregnating the winding insulation and pouring out the insulating cap.
The first is a metal-modified epoxy resin, which is a compound of an epoxy resin containing at most one hydroxyl group in the molecule with an epoxy equivalent between 165 and 400 and an o-titanic acid tetraalkyl ester.
The second is an organometallic glycidyl polyether, which is a compound of 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of the ester of a semimetal acid with 100 parts by weight of a glycidyl polyether which has an epoxy equivalence below 400 and less than one hydroxyl equivalent per kilogram.
