Current transformer system for extra high voltage systems The main patent relates to a current transformer system for extra high voltage systems, in which the secondary winding of the current transformer is a magnetic voltmeter.
Such a current transformer works practically in no-load operation, with a voltage being induced on the measuring coil which leads the current by 90 in the steady state. For many applications, e.g. However, e.g. power measurement, distance protection, etc., it is important to have a secondary voltage in phase with the primary current. According to FIG. 1, this can be achieved by a capacitor C connected to the secondary winding 2 with the inductance L2 via a resistor R.
A steady state applies to the voltage Uz across the capacitor C.

If the secondary circuit is tuned to the mains frequency by making c0'22 - L., - C = 1, then

where U11 is in phase with the current. M means the mutual inductance of the converter.
Such a circuit also has the disadvantage that when switching operations on the line, non-network frequency operations are transferred to the secondary side. These are, for example, equalization processes resulting from a decaying direct current component in the event of a short circuit.
If you continue to do o-) C - R> 1, that is, if you dampen the tuned circuit very strongly aperiodically, the proportionality between U11 and J1 remains and also applies to processes that are not mains-frequent, for example compensation processes for the instantaneous values u2 and il.
This process is of particular importance for distance protection circuits. In distance protection circuits, the current transformers are switched to line simulation impedances. In order to enable a correct distance measurement in the event of disturbances even in the non-stationary state, no voltage drop should occur at these impedances in the event of short circuits, which is caused by the decaying direct current component of the short circuit current.
In the no-load current transformer of the main patent, the effect of a balancing operation on the output side can be made ineffective by the present invention. According to the additional invention, shown in FIG. 2, this takes place in such a way that the resistor connected upstream of the capacitor is designed as a voltage divider (R1 + R,), and that between the connection point of the two partial resistances and the one not connected to the voltage divider, opposite connection of the capacitor the voltage leading to the amplifier is taken,
in which

is made and where R1 is the partial resistance on the current transformer winding and R2 is the partial resistance on the capacitor and T is the decay time constant of the direct current component of the short-circuit current in the network.
Under these conditions, the voltage U11 is free of compensation components and for further use

Can be used in distance protection circuits, with amplifiers being able to be interposed as required.
If the time constant corresponding to the short-circuit phase angle cpk of the line section to be protected

is different from the decay time constant T of the network short-circuit current, e.g. B. by the influence of the impedances of the feeding machines, it is advisable to supplement the circuit according to the invention in accordance with the circuit according to FIG. The outgoing voltage is also fed through a voltage divider made up of resistor R3 and capacitor C3, and the newly outgoing voltage U1,1 obtained in this way is taken from the capacitor.
This circuit makes additional phase angle corrections.
The time constant of the circuit C2 'R2 is here also chosen to be equal to the decay time T of the direct current component of the short-circuit current in the network, so that no corresponding direct voltage component can occur in the circuit. The time constant TI of the line to be protected is usually smaller than the decay time constant T, which means that the phase angle Tk is also smaller than the phase angle 99 of the circle C2 * R2.
The alternating voltage U "1 must therefore be turned back in relation to the alternating voltage U", which is done via the circuit C3 * R3. The individual variables are then related to the following:
EMI2.34
The voltage Uli then leads the current J, by the line phase angle cpk.
