Revolver-shaped hand drill with infinitely adjustable friction gear The present invention relates to a revolver-shaped hand drill with infinitely adjustable friction gear, in which the drive and output shaft are each equipped with a friction wheel. The invention is characterized in that the friction wheels are frictionally connected to one another via adjustable rollers, which rollers bear against the two friction wheels on their circumference with diametrically opposite points.
The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows an axial section through the hand drilling machine and FIG. 2 shows a cross section corresponding to section line A-B in FIG. 1.
The drawn hand drill has a revolver-like shape having housing 1, in the part shaped as a handle, an electric motor not drawn GE with shaft 2 is arranged. The shaft 2 of the electric motor carries a bevel wheel 3 which meshes with a further bevel gear 4 which is arranged on a drive shaft 5. It sits on a sleeve 6 arranged on this shaft, which is rotatably Gela Gert by means of a ball bearing 7 in ra-media retaining ribs 8 of the housing 1. The drive shaft 5 is provided with an extension 9 which is axially displaceable ver on the drive shaft 5 and a friction wheel 10 carries. The extension is under the action of a spring 25 which is inserted into the sleeve 6 between this and the extension 9.
The extension 9 is in rotary connection with the drive shaft 5 in that a radial pin 26 of the drive shaft 5 extends through a slot 27 of the extension 9. The slot 27 also serves to limit the axial displacement of the extension 9 relative to the shaft 5 under the action of the spring 25. The friction wheel has a concavely curved front surface 11, the curvature being formed in a ring-shaped manner with a circular cross-section concentric to the wheel axis. In the axial continuation of the drive shaft 5, an output shaft 13 is mounted in the front part of the housing 1 by means of roller bearings 28, which output shaft 13 carries a friction wheel 12 at its end facing the drive shaft 5.
The friction wheel 12 is similar to the friction wheel 10 and has one of the wheel - 10 corre sponding, concavely curved surface 14, which is directed against the concavely curved surface 11 of the wheel 10, the two annular curvatures 11 and 14 together limit an annulus with a circular cross-section. The end of the shaft 13 facing away from the shaft 5 has a chuck 29.
In the gear housing part four holders 15 are also arranged, which are evenly distributed on the circumference of this cylindrical housing part and serve for the rotatable bearing of roller cages 17, which are each arranged between two holders 15 and rotatably inserted into them by means of pins 16. In the roller cages 17 rollers 18 are arranged, which are freely rotatably ge superimposed around a shaft 19 in their cage. The cages 17 can be pivoted to adjust the rollers 18 about the pin 16, the pivoting of a single cage 17 with the rotation of the remaining cages 17 with it.
For this purpose, the cages 17 are rotationally connected to one another by means of toothed rims 20, which are fixedly arranged at the ends of the cages 17, so that the toothed rims 20 mesh with each other at the abutting ends of two adjacent cages. Furthermore, one of the cages carries a central rib 21 with teeth, with which a toothed crown 23 of an adjusting member 22 which can be operated on the outside of the machine housing meshes. By rotating the adjusting member 22, the cages 17 are pivoted about the pins 16 via the toothed crown 23 and the toothed rib 21, whereby the position of the rollers 18 with respect to the planes in which they rotate changes.
Each of the rollers 18 is composed of two roller body halves 18 'and 18 ", which form a stepped central groove in which three circumferential rings 24 are accommodated. Two of the circumferential rings, namely the two lateral ones, are arranged freely rotatable and act as As a result of the free rotation of these two rings, they can adapt to the different circumferential speeds of the concave surfaces of the wheels 10 and 12 with which they are in frictional engagement.
The arrangement of the cages 17 with the rollers 18 is chosen so that each roller 18 rests against the friction wheels 10 and 12 with diametrically opposite locations of its circumference. The spring 25 presses the extension 9 together with the friction wheel 10 and rollers 18, which can be axially displaced in the housing 1, against the friction wheel 12.
The spring 25 causes a constant, slight pressure of the rollers 18 and the two Frik tion wheels 10 and 12 in idle. With increasing force decrease of the output shaft 13 there is a rotation between the extension 9 and the friction wheel 10, whereby the extension moves axially due to its curved end face and compresses the spring 25 until the extension 9 comes to rest against an inner shoulder of the sleeve 6. This increases the contact pressure of the friction elements and prevents a sliding effect. The spring 25 presses the continuation 9 including the friction wheel 10 against the rollers 18. The rotation of the drive shaft 5 is transmitted via the friction wheel 10 to the rollers 18, which then set the friction wheel 12 in rotation.
The latter drives the chuck 29 via the output shaft 13. Depending on the pivot position of the rollers 18, the difference in speed between the drive and output shafts is different, so that the translation can be regulated continuously.
The described design of the rollers 18 with circumferential rings 24 achieves a particularly advantageous power transmission.
