Wird iiiiii in der oben genannten Weise eine ört- liehe Verengung des Strömungsweges erzeugt, so werden die Strömungsverhältnisse minde- C stens für ein kurzes Stück stromabwärts der Verengung in günstigem Sinne beeinflusst. Meist treten die ungünstigen Wirkungen an den längeren Schaufeln auf, das heisst an den Schaufeln der dem Kompressoreinlass zu- nächstliegenden Schaufelkränze;

Der Zylinder<B>33</B> ist an die Aus- lassleitung 34 einer Fluidumpumpe <B>35</B> ange- sehlossen. Die Pumpe<B>35</B> wird durch die Kom- pressorwelle angetrieben, so dass der Druck iiii Zylinder<B>33</B> mit steigender Kompressor- drehzabl. steigt;
Das stromauf- wärtsliegende Ende 40a des Wandteils 40 ist auswärts abgekröpft. Das stromaufwärtslie- gende Ende 41. der Nut<B>16</B> ist tiefer als die Dicke des Bleelimaterials des Wandteils und kann so den abgekröpften Endteil 40a auf nehmen;
Axial flow compressor The object of the present invention is an axial flow compressor which has a wall which extends in the circumferential direction and which delimits the working fluid channel of the compressor, and rings of blades which ra-l-en across the said flow path.
According to the invention, the compressor is characterized in that said wall has a plurality of parts that each see between. adjacent blades of a ring he stretch, each part from an ineffective position, in which it supplements the adjacent wall parts to an at least approximately uninterrupted limitation of the flow path for the working fluid, into an effective position, in which it is transversely movable protrudes into the flow path of the working fluid in order to effect a local Ver (1110,1111,0, of the flow path in the transverse direction.
In the case of multi-stage compressors, particularly difficult operating conditions can arise, mostly when the compressor is working at loads that are less than the nominal load; In this case, particularly strong vibrations of the blade of one or more blade rings can occur, which can lead to blade breaks.
If a local narrowing of the flow path is created in the above-mentioned manner, the flow conditions are influenced in a favorable sense for at least a short distance downstream of the narrowing. The unfavorable effects usually occur on the longer blades, that is to say on the blades of the blade rings closest to the compressor inlet;
the narrowing of the flow path can now be seen in such a way that the change in the flow occurs at the inlet level of any Sehaufelkranz exposed to unfavorable flow conditions; on the other hand, such a narrowing can also be provided in several zones of the flow path in order to change the flow in one or more blade rings.
In general, the risk of a crushing blade in a blade ring exposed to unfavorable flow conditions is greater if the stresses generated by vibration increase the stresses generated by centrifugal force. For this reason and for reasons of greater simplicity, the movable wall parts are expediently provided in the stationary wall of the flow path upstream of a rotor blade ring between the blade roots of adjacent blades of a guide vane ring upstream of the LaufsehaLifelkranz.
When the present invention is applied to multi-stage compressors, it is also possible to achieve the same ratio between the flow conditions in the individual stages (the so-called tuning of the stages) with different compressor load lines by influencing the flow in one or more stages differently Levels to get up.
The subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, for example; It shows: Fig. 1 in axial section a part of a multi-stage axial flow compressor, Fig. 2 on a larger scale a detail of the stator of the compressor according to Fig. 1 in axial section,
FIGS. 3 and 4 show a section near the line III-III or IV-IV in FIG. 2, FIGS. 5 and 6 a Detailed variant in cross section analogous to Fig. 3 or 4, Fig. 7,
8 </B> and <B> 9 </B> a further detail variation in the section analogous to FIG. 2 or <B> 3 </B> or -w. 4 and FIGS. 10, 11 and 12 show a further detail variant in a section analogous to FIGS. 2 and 3 and 4.
The compressor shown in Fig. 1 has a rotor 1 and a stator housing 2, which alternate in flow direction with rings of rotor and stator blades <B> 3-13 </ B> are seen. Fig. 2 shows the stator housing in the area of the stator blades <B> 6. </B> The blades <B> 6 </B> are with their blade feet 1.4 in a rear-mounted circumferential groove <B> 15 </B> in the stator-- housing 2 inserted.
The housing 2 has a circumferential groove 16 of small depth, which extends on both sides of the saw blade anchoring groove 15 in the axial direction of the compressor. The <U> feet </U> 14 of the stator blades, which usually have a complementary surface to the inner surface of the stator housing 2,
are kept so short in the present case that they have a complementary line to the bottom area of the one marked with <B> 16 </B>.
Thus, between each adjacent pair of stator blades, a recess of shallow uniform depth is created, which has approximately the shape of a parallelogram and through the upstream and downstream walls of the <B> 16 </B> and the chords of the transverse line of the feet the Sehaufeln <B> 6 </B> is limited.
A correspondingly shaped wall part 17 made of flexible sheet metal is inserted into this recess, the thickness of which is the same as the depth of the recess mentioned.
The wall part <B> 17 </B> is secured by means of countersunk -, ', # - pins or screws <B> 18', </B> which protrude raclially into (las stator housing '2, namely into the upstream of the groove <B> 15 </B> is fixed in the recess with <B> 16 </B>.
A slide valve 19, arranged radially displaceably in the stator housing 2, engages the wall part upstream of its downstream edge.
Pressing down the Sellieber <B> 19 </B> from the outside of the housing <B> 2 '</B> causes the wall part <B> 17 </B> to bend out of its ineffective, fully drawn lines Position, with its free downstream end into the flow path of the compressor working fluid into its effective,
with striated lines # - # the same position is printed; the axial play is sufficient in this case to prevent the blades of the following blade ring from touching.
As can be seen from FIG. 3, the moving parts of several adjacent pairs of stator blades 6 are combined to form a sector-shaped strip 20 which extends downstream of the inlet plane of FIG Stator blades <B> 5 </B> are seated to receive these blades,
whereby the seat braid is gefornit according to the profiles of the adjacent saw blades with only -eringeni clearance. The stroni-downward surface of each eyepiece foot 14 has a notch 21, which provides space for the adjacent eyelid <B> 19 </B>.
In order to be able to actuate the various movable wall parts <B> 17 </B> of the guide vane ring -leieli7eiti., # -, a Riiig22 surrounding the stator housing on the outside is provided, which has radial projections <B> 23 </B> on its inside which have the shape of blunt saw teeth.
The projections <B> 23 </B> have the -leiehe part-like the sight bed- for the movable wall parts and their end faces lie against the housing 2 and enable a turning of the ring 22.
The visual surface 24 of each projection <B> 23 </B> interacts with one of the slide eyes <B> 1.9 </B>; these slides are depressed or released by the projections when the ring 22 is rotated in one direction or in the other.
The required return force to direct the affected walls <B> 17 </B> and their slides <B> 19 </B> into the ineffective position is applied in part by the elasticity of the latter .
This resetting force is further increased by the fact that each slide valve <B> 19 </B> on the housing 2itil # part, side with a thickened head <B> 25 </B> see, on which one on the other end of the housing 2 supported pressure members <B> 26 </B> attacks.
The outside of the housing is round and uni, each slide valve <B> 19 </B> for receiving the spring <B> 26 </B> a (, enlarged bore <B> 27 </B>, the arrangement is made that the displacement of each wall part <B> 17 </B> from its ineffective position is greatest with a small compressor load and progressively decreases with increasing load up to a certain greater load ', at Nveleher the ineffective position the movable wall is reached.
It should be noted, for example, that the movable wall parts are displaced the most when the compressor is started and that they assume their ineffective position when the compressor speed is 60 -70% </B> of the full load speed. Attached to the outer, toothed ring 22 is a shoulder 28, in which a rod is articulated by means of a pin that runs tangentially to the ring.
A pressure member <B> 30 </B> which rests against a collar <B> 31 </B> of the rod <B> 29 </B> and is supported at the other end on a stationary stop loads the rod 29 and thus the ring 22 clockwise (FIG. 4) so that the slides 19 are completely depressed and the wall parts 17 assume their fully effective position. The rod <B> 29 </B> carries a piston <B> 32 </B> which works in a cylinder <B> 33 </B> against the action of the spring <B> 30 </B>.
The cylinder <B> 33 </B> is connected to the outlet line 34 of a fluid pump <B> 35 </B>. The pump <B> 35 </B> is driven by the compressor shaft, so that the pressure in cylinder <B> 33 </B> increases with increasing compressor speed. increases;
in the process, the piston <B> 32 </B> is moved and the ring 22 is rotated counterclockwise (FIG. 4), which results in a retraction of the slide <B> 19 </B>. The movement of the piston <B> 32 </B> in the cylinder <B> 33 </B> is limited by a stop <B> 36 </B> which strikes against the collar <B> 31 </B> when the compressor speed reaches a certain value in relation to the full load speed; At this point, the movable wall parts take their ineffective position. It goes without saying that any other suitable speed-dependent or load-dependent control can also be provided.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the blades 5, the blade roots 14, the grooves 15 and the grooves are > 16 </B> identical - as in the example described above.
The -N \ Tandteile <B> 37 </B> provided here are made of sheet metal and are linked to the housing 2 by means of hinges <B> 38 </B> on or in the area of the inlet plane of the stator blade ring. A number of wall parts <B> 37 </B> are expediently combined to form a sector-shaped strip <B> 39 </B> and by means of screws <B> 18 </B> in the upstream part of the groove <B> 16 < / B> attached.
The strip <B> 39 </B> is expediently built in in a flat state and, after dividing the hinge pins, is bent between adjacent wall parts. On the other hand, as in the example according to FIGS. 7, 8 and 9, the wall part 40 located between two adjacent blades can consist of one piece.
The upstream end 40a of the wall part 40 is bent outwards. The upstream end 41 of the groove 16 is deeper than the thickness of the sheet metal material of the wall part and can thus accommodate the cranked end part 40a;
Furthermore, this part of the groove is backed so that the angled part 40a is caught in a recess which, in the area of the upstream end of the wall part 40, forms a pivot bearing for this wall part. Around every movable part of the wall. to be defined in the circumferential direction, a separate toe style 42 is provided between each two adjacent Sehaufelfuß.
The shape of the intermediate style 42 is adapted to that of <B> 15 </B> and also has. a projection which protrudes into the upstream part 41 of the recess located between two adjacent Sehalifelfoots. On the other hand, this projection could also consist of one piece with the individual blade feet.
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. <B> 5 </B> and <B> 6 </B> or <B> 7 </B> and <B> 8 </B>, the movable walls are also actuated by means of sieves <B> 19 </B> wherein the end part of each sieve <B> 19 </B> lying outside the housing 2 has a thickened head <B> 25 </B>, while a compression spring <B> 26 < / B> between this head <B> 25 </B> and the housing 2 is supported. The inner end part of each slide 19 is connected by means of a pin to an eye 44 which is provided at the free, downstream end of the wall part 40 (FIG. 9).
As in the example according to FIGS. 1-4, means for moving all wall parts 40 simultaneously are also provided here. The design shown specifically in FIGS. 2-4 can also be modified so that, as shown in FIG. 9, a pin connection is provided between the gate valve and the wall part.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 10, 11 and 12, the stator blades <B> 6 </B> are in the case with their feet in undercut circumferential grooves <B> 15 </ B > used in the stator housing.
Here, too, the blade roots 14 are set back somewhat with respect to the inside of the housing, so that a recess is created between two adjacent blades, which upstream and downstream through the opening of the groove for the blade roots and approximately through the chords in the circumference the Sehauffuss- cross sections of the two blades is limited.
A wall part 45 is arranged in each recess, the thickness of which is equal to the depth of the recess and the shape of which is adapted to the blade profile with the exception of a slight play. The wall part 45 is attached to a slide 46 which is arranged radially displaceably in the housing 2 near the center of the groove containing the blade root. To create space for the slide 46, one side of each blade foot is provided with a corresponding notch 47.
Each slide valve 46 has a thickened head <B> 25 </B> at its outer end, on which a compression spring 26 supported at the other end on the housing 2 engages. When the gate valve 46 is pushed inwards, the associated wall part 45 is moved into the flow path of the compressor working fluid. For the simultaneous actuation of all movable wall parts, the same means as in the examples described above can be provided.
In the embodiments described, the flow path of the turbomachine is narrowed on the radially outer wall of the flow path in the area of the tips of the rotor blades. As a result, the flow constriction has the effect of reducing the fluid flow and the fluid load at some latiform blade tips. This is therefore important
because rotor blades are generally more heavily stressed and because the effect of loads on a blade that generate excessive visual vibration stresses is greatest when these loads act on the blade tip. Thus, the best results are achieved when the prescribed Ver narrowing of the Strömangsweg is made near the tips of Laufsehauf eln.
