Werkzeug zum Polieren von Werkstücken Die Erfindung betrifft, ein Werkzeug zum Polieren von Werkstücken. Dasselbe zeichnet sich gemäss der Erfindung aus durch einen Stab und durch Mittel, um ein Schmirgelband auswechselbar auf demselben festzuklemmen.
In. der Zeichnung sind einige Ausführungs formen der Erfindung beispielsweise darge stellt. Es zeigen: Fig.1 eine Seitenansicht einer ersten Ausr fühx#ungsform, teilweise im Schnitt, Fig. 2 und 3 einen Querschnitt zu Fig.1 in zwei verschiedenen Stellungen,
Fig.4 den Querschnitt einer Variante der Ausführungsform nach Fig.l-3. Fig. 5 und- 6 zwei zueinander senkrechte Längsschnitte einer weiteren Ausführungs- form.
Das Werkzeug nach Fig. 1.-30 weist einen Hohlstab 1 auf, der mit einem Längsschlitz 2 versehen ist. Im Innern des Hohlstabes 1 be findet, sieh ein Vollstab 3, der einen Längss- sehlitz 4 aufweist., der mindestens so lang ist. wie der Längsschlitz 2.
An dem Vollstab 3 ist ein Griff 5' angebracht, von dem in Fig. 1 nur ein Bruchstück dargestellt ist.. Das eine Ende eines im Vollstab 3 befestigten Quer- stiftes 5 wird durch eine Quernut 6 des Hohl stabes 1 geführt, so d@ass der Vollstab 4 relativ zum Hohlstab 1 nur verdreht, nicht aber ver schoben werden kann.
Ein Schmirgelband 7 (siehe Fig. 2 und 3), das so lang ist. wie die Schlitze 2 und 4 und das etwas breiter ist als der Umfang des Hohlstabes 1, wird auf diesem Stab auf folgende Weise festgeklemmt: Man führt. die beiden Längsränder des Bandes so in die Schlitze 2 und 4 ein, wie dies in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist.
Indem man nun den Vollstab 3 mittels des Griffes 5' verdreht, werden diese Ränder zwischen einer Klemm fläche 8 des Vollstabes und der Innenfläche des Hohlstabes fastgeklemmt, wie das in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist.
Das Werkzeug kann nun zum Polieren von W erkstücken verwendet werden, wobei sieh die Feinheit des Schmirgelbandes natürlich nach dem gewünschten Politurgrad richtet. Selbstverständlich kann man nach dem Ab schmirgeln den Gegenstand noch auf andere bekannte Weise auf Hochglanz polieren.
Das Schmirgelband kann leicht ausgewechselt wer den, sei es, um den Feinheitsgrad zu ver ändern, sei es mit Rücksicht auf seine Ab nützung. Das Band kann aus Tuch oder Pa pier bestehen.
Die Variante nach Fig. 4 unterscheidet sich von der Ausführimgsform nach Fig. 1-3 lediglich dadurch, dass der Hohlstab 9 aus zwei Teilen zusammengesetzt ist, nämlich aus einem elliptischen, das äussere Profil bilden- den Teil 9' und einem kreisförmigen, das innere Profil bildenden Teil 9".
An Stelle eines elliptischen Profils könnte auch eindrei eckiges oder ein kreissegmentförmiges Profil gewählt werden. Bei der Ausführungsform nach Vig. 5 und 6 wird das Schmirgelband 10 auf dem Stab 11. von rechteckigem Querschnitt auf nachstehend erläuterte Weise so festgeklemmt, .dass es nur die beiden breiten Seiten des Stabes bedeckt.
Ein Ende des Stabes 11 ist in einer federnden Gabel 12 eingeklemmt. Eine Druckfeder 13 ist auf dem Stiel 14 der Gabel 12 geführt. und einerseits an der Gabel und anderseits an einem Querzapfen 15 abgestützt. Letzterer ist bei 16 in einer Griffhülse 17 gelagert, welche die Gabel samt Stiel und Feder umgibt..
Dass Schmirgelband 10 tritt-bei 18 hinten in die Griffhülse 17 ein und verlässt dieselbe durch die Durchbrechung 19, nachdem es um den Stab 11 herumgeführt worden ist. Durch den Druck der Feder 13 wird das Band, an den Stellen 20 zwischen den Gabelenden und der innern Endfläche der Griffhülse festge klemmt.
Indem man den Stab 11 gegen die Feder zurückschiebt, kann man das Band lösen und auswechseln; man kann das Band auch nur ein Stück weiterschieben, falls es genügend lang ist, um in einer neuen Lage festgeklemmt zu werden.

The variant according to FIG. 4 differs from the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-3 only in that the hollow rod 9 is composed of two parts, namely an elliptical part 9 'forming the outer profile and a circular part 9' the inner one Profile forming part 9 ".
