Watch provided with a control member of the internal mechanism, member passing through the case in a sealed manner by a rod The object of the present invention is a watch provided with a control member of the inner mechanism, member passing through the case in a sealed manner. the box by a rod carrying an operating crown part of which is joined with the box and which, in the rest position, is screwed onto the tube of the latter. This watch is characterized in that at least said part of the crown is made of a compressible non-metallic material and has a circular bearing surface which, in the rest position, joins, without interposition of another part, with an annular bearing surface. of the tube.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the present invention; each of fig. 1 and 2 of the drawing is an axial section of one of these.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 comprises, driven into the box 1, a tube 2 provided on the outside with an annular flange 3 and, above, with a thread 4. The ring 5 is made of a non-metallic, compressible material, for example a polyamide such as that known in the trade as nylon. It is coated on the outside with a protective metal cap 6. Inside, it has a thread 7, and on its lower base, a circular bearing surface 8. When the crown is at rest, that is to say when it is not used either for winding or for setting the time, it is screwed onto the pendant, as shown in the figure.
Its scope 8, then, presses on the upper face of the collar 3, without the interposition of another part and is joined with this collar; its barrel 5a is also joined with the internal wall of the tube.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2 ,. the crown 9, also of compressible non-metallic material, such as a polyamide, is also coated with a metallic protective cap 10. It is internally reinforced with a metallic sleeve 11 provided with two threads, one 12, inside , intended to receive the winding stem, and the other 13, exterior, which, in the rest position, is engaged with the thread 14 formed inside the tube. In this position, the bearing surface 15 presented by the crown at its lower base forms a joint without the interposition of another part with the collar 16 of the tube. The inner wall of the crown is also joined at 9a with the outer wall of the tube.
Finally, the same ring presses, without the interposition of another part, on the flat surface 17 terminating the free end of the tube forming, again; a tight seal. We could moreover be satisfied with the latter seal and delete the one between exhibits 15 and 16.
