Automatic template changing device on copying machine tool, for example on copying lathe The present invention is an automatic template changing device on copying machine tool, z. B. on copy lathe, which should work alternately after at least two alternately in the area of the copy button adjustable copy templates.
Various constructions are known which have means for pivoting copy template carriers in order to be able to carry out successive machining operations on the same workpiece according to different templates. These known devices are either operated manually or they are provided in hydraulic or electrical controls, often in combination with automatic multi-cut devices.
In all of these known devices. pivoting regardless of the shape of the workpiece to be machined.
The present invention is characterized in that at least one probe element is arranged for influencing by the workpiece inserted into the machine for processing, which controls adjusting elements which bring the copy template corresponding to the respective position of the workpiece into the area of the copy probe.
The drawing shows several execution examples of the subject invention, namely Fig. 1. A schematic front view of a copying lathe with. Automatic template changing device, with the workpiece clamped in a first working position, and FIG. 2 the workpiece clamped in the second working position, FIG. 3 a diagram of this first embodiment, FIG. 4 a diagram of a second embodiment, FIG. 5 a diagram another embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows, shown schematically, a copying lathe, consisting of the Stän countries 1 and 2, an upper cross member 3 and a bed 4, on which parallel to the workpiece axis of rotation 5, a carriage 6 is displaceable. Between a headstock 7 on the stand of 1 and a longitudinally displaceable tailstock 8 on the upper traverse 3, a workpiece 10 is clamped by means of a chuck 9, indicated by way of example.
A copying carriage 11 with a tool 12 is slidably arranged on the carriage 6, and any hydraulic or electrical control system can be used to control the copying of the tool. The button lever 13 connected to the control valve (not shown) with the copy button 14 can scan the contour of one of the two copy templates 15 or 25 when the slide 6 is moved longitudinally (FIG. 3).
A tilting template holder 17a.11 of the two uprights 1 and 2 is pivotably mounted in bearings (not shown) by means of its two-sided pins 16. The tilting stencil holder 17 has two clamping points for the copying stencils 15 and 25. An oil pump 18 sucks oil from a container 19 and conveys the same through a line 20 into a valve housing 21. In the latter, a piston slide 22 is longitudinally displaceable, the displacement movements being generated by electromagnets 23, 24 arranged at the two slide ends.
A rocker arm 26 standing under the action of a spring 27 holds the slide 22 in the end position set by the electromagnets 23, 24. A stop 28 limits the path of the slide 22 in both directions of movement. From the housing 21, a line 29 leads to a cylinder 30 in which a side facing away from your entry of the line 29 into the cylinder under the action of a spring 31 piston 32 is displaceable. A piston rod 33 of the piston 32 is in Ver connection with a rocker arm 31 which is pivotable about an axis 35 and is through a joint 36 with the tilting template holder 17 in Ver connection.
A switch housing 37, which can be adjusted in the vertical and horizontal direction by means not shown, is arranged on the cross member 3. In the latter, a on a guide rod 38 arranged contact roller 39 is displaceable above the workpiece axis 5 in the vertical direction, which is influenced by the workpiece, depending on the working position in which it is clamped, to the stel development of the workpiece corresponding template 15 or 25 in the area of button 1 4.
There are safety organs provided through which the tilting stencil holder switching device is only released in the rearward position, that is, in the lowered position of the Kopierschlit least 11. The electrical control organs consist of a Uni- control Miluoswitch 40 built into the switch housing 37 and the microswitches 41, 42 and the relay 13.
The operation of the device shown in Figs. 1 to 3 is. the following: In Fig. 1 is. the workpiece 10 drawn clamped in the position in the copy lathe in which a first machining operation is carried out according to the template 15, the course of which is shown schematically by the parallelogram I provided with arrows. From the previous machining operation II is the Ko pierschlitten 1.1 in the position shown in Figure 3 and the tilting stencil holder 17 is still in the position, not shown, in which the copying stencil 25 is in the ready position above the copy button 14; this closes the left-hand contact in switch -12.
The switch housing 37 is set so that the contact roller 39 assumes the position shown in FIG. 3, -o it does not. rests on your workpiece 10. The attachment 17 on the copier carriage 11 has the switching arm of the holder 11 behind. left ge pivots, whereby the Sehalter closed and the relay 13a is turned on. By the action - a spring -11 in the switch housing 37, a stop ring 15 is pressed down in the housing 37, whereby the microswitch 40 closes the left-hand contact.
The current i-0111 -, - Pole flows through the contact on the left. of the switch 10, then through the solenoid 23 Lind via the left-hand contact of the switch 4-2 and the -dureb the energized relay 13a closed switch 4-3 back to your - pole.
The left-side 1Ia # netspitle 23 pulls the slide 22 to the left, whereby pressurized oil from the line 20 reaches the right-hand side of the piston 32. As a result, the tilting template holder 17 is pivoted into the position shown in FIG. 3, in which the template 15 is above the button 1.1.
The rocker arm 26 holds the slide 22 in the set position under the action of the spring 27 and the switch 42 moves into the position shown in FIG.
If the copy carriage 11 is now delivered, that is, from the position shown in Fig. 3 development is moved towards the axis of rotation 5, the switching arm of the switch 41 slides from the cam 47 on the copy carriage 11, the switch is opened and the relay 43a, becomes powerless, whereby the switch 43 opens. As a result, any unintentional tilting or pivoting of the tilting stencil holder 1.7 is made impossible when the copier carriage 11 is delivered or working.
This is also the case if chips or other foreign bodies happen to get between the contact roller 39 and the workpiece 10 and the roller 36) should lift.
Ne Fig. 2 shows the workpiece 10 is clamped in the working position in the copy lathe, in which it affects the contact roller 39 and the machining operation II shown by the parallelogram II is made before. When clamping, the contact roller 39 is pushed up by the collar 46 of the workpiece 1.0, whereby the stop ring 45 in the switch housing 37 is lifted. The contact on the right in switch 40 is thereby closed. At this point in time see the Kopierschlit th 11 again in the lowered position (Fig. 3), in which the switch 41 is closed by the cam 47, so the relay '43a is energized and the switch 43 is closed.
The current flows from the + pole through the right-hand contact of the switch 40, through the right-hand magnetic coil 24 of the slide 22 and reaches the - pole via the switches 42 and 43. The slide 22 is thereby shifted to the right, in which position the pressure medium passes from the cylinder 30 through the line 29 back into the container 19. The action of the spring 31 moves the piston 32 to the right and the rocker arm 34 and thus also the tilt template holder 17 are pivoted; thereby. the copy template 25 arrives in the ready position above the copy button 14.
By pivoting the tilting stencil holder 17, the switch 42 is switched to the left, that is, the magnetic coil 24 is de-energized. Because of the spring 27, the rocker arm 26 holds the slide 22 in the right-hand position, not shown. If the copy carriage 11 is raised at the beginning of the processing opera tion II, the switch 41 opens, the relay 43a is de-energized and the switch 43 opens. As in operation I, any unintentional pivoting of the tilting template holder ″ 17 is made impossible during the execution of the machining operation II.
Fig. 4 shows a second template changing device in which the probe element actuates an electrical toggle switch and the movement of the templates takes place electromagnetic table. The same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals as were used in FIGS. 1 to 3.
Am on the traverse 3 of the machine in the vertical and horizontal directions ver slidably arranged switch housing 50 is with a schematic. shown toggle switch 51 provided, which is operatively connected to a rocker 53 tiltable about the axis 52 with two probes that can be influenced by the workpiece 10. At the beginning of the machining operation II shown in Fig. 4, when clamping the workpiece 10 by its collar 46, the rocker 53 has been pivoted into the designated position. Since the copy carriage 11 is in its lowered position, according to FIG. 3, the switch 41 is closed by the cam 47.
At this point in time, the template 25 is to be brought into the standby position above the copier button. From the -f- pole the current reaches through the right-hand, now closed contact 54 of the toggle switch 51, through the magnetic coil 2 $ and through the switch 41 back to the - pole; as a result, the tilting template holder 17 is pivoted counterclockwise, so that the copying template 25 is above the copy button 14. When the copier carriage 11 is raised, the switch 41 opens and the solenoid 23 is de-energized.
The spring 27 holds the tilting template holder 17 in this set th position. In this embodiment, too, no tilting movement of the tilting template holder 17 can be carried out during the machining operation.
5 shows an embodiment in which the securing elements to prevent the template holder from tilting during work are arranged in such a way that the template changing device is only released when the tailstock quill is retracted. The arrangement of the tilt template holder and toggle switch is identical to. that of FIG. 4.
The pivoting of the tilting template holder 17 for setting for the machining operation I shown in FIG. 5 takes place at a point in time when the quill 56 of the tailstock 8 is in the position, not shown, withdrawn to the right and enabling the workpiece to be clamped in the relevant position where the switch 57 is closed by the cam 58. The rocker 53 is brought when a set of the workpiece in the position shown in Fig. 5 is, whereby the left-hand contact 55 of the toggle switch 51 is closed. From the + pole, the current passes through the contact 55 through the magnet coil 24 and through the switch 57, which is closed at this time, and back to the - pole.
The tilting template holder 17 is thereby pivoted clockwise so that the copying template 15 moves into the position above the copying button 14. The spring 27 holds the tilting template holder 17 in this position. If the workpiece 10 clamped in the chuck 9 is now centered in the position shown with the quill 56, the switch 57 opens and the circuit is interrupted. It is now also not possible with this safety device to carry out pivoting movements of the tilting template holder 17 during the machining operation.
