B. den Hi#lfsluftbehälter, zu seiner Füllung mit- der Hauptleitung, über zwei parallel ge schaltete, die Füllung überwachende Zweige zu verbinden;
Die Erfindung sucht derartige Überladun gen zu verhindern. Sie hat eine Einrichtung an indirekt wirkender Druckluftbremse zur Überwachung der Füllung eines Behälters zum Gegenstand;
Infolge des Füllstosses in der Hauptleitung L, dessen Druck höher ist ass der Druek der wieder auf den Betriebsdruck aufgefüllten Behälter H und S, bleibt der Ventilkörper 15 weiterhin auf seinen;
In den Wagen am vordern Teil eines Zuges besteht so-mit bei Anwendung eines Füllstosses zum Lösen dem Bremsen vor- erst eine Verbindung grossen Querschnittes zum raschen Auffüllen des Hilfsluftbehälters über das Speiseventil 33, hierauf eine Verbin- dung geringem;
Device on indirectly acting compressed air brake for monitoring the filling of a container. In indirectly acting compressed air brakes, it is known to use a compressed air tank, such as.
B. to connect the auxiliary air tank to its filling with the main line via two branches connected in parallel and monitoring the filling;
one of which is kept closed during a braking process above a minimum pressure in the brake cylinder by a valve with an actuating element under the influence of the brake cylinder pressure, while the other is during,
Solve the process until the container is approximately filled to the operating pressure in the filling direction is kept open.
In a known filling device of this type, the pressure of the main line acts in the opening sense on the valve body of the valve that in this case monitors the filling of the auxiliary air tank as well as the control air tank, so this is so when the brake cylinder pressure drops to the minimum value mentioned rather opens,
the higher the pressure in the main line is above the operating pressure. On; the top of the train, where such overpressure in the main line is normally present during the loosening process, therefore result in undesirable overloading of the two containers.
The invention seeks to prevent such Überladun conditions. Its object is a device on indirectly acting compressed air brakes for monitoring the filling of a container;
which is provided with two branches connected in parallel between the main line and the container to be filled and which monitor the filling of the latter,
one of them during a braking process above a minimum pressure in the brake cylinder. The valve is kept closed with an actuating element under the influence of this brake cylinder pressure,
while the other is kept open during the dissolving process until the container is approximately filled to the operating pressure in the filling direction.
According to the invention, the pressure of the main line loads the valve body against the action of a spring and the container pressure on closure of the valve after the valve is closed by the actuating element, the latter being designed as a part separated from the valve body of the valve,
in order to keep this closed with an emptied brake cylinder and in the main line against the container existing overmuck up to its Absin ken to a value corresponding to the force of said spring.
Below are three Ausführungsbei games of the subject invention ran hand of the drawing described in more detail. In this show:
1 and 2 two examples of a monitoring valve of the device in axial section and: FIG. 3 an example of a device for monitoring the filling of two containers together with a monitoring device:
Gas valve similar to that of FIG. 1.
In the housing 5 of Fig. 1, the four chambers 6, 7, 8 and 10 are provided, of which the first chamber 6 to the brake cylinder, not shown here, the second Kam mer 7 to the outside air, the third chamber 8 to the also The main line (not shown) and the fourth chamber 10 running through the entire train to a container (not shown) that is aiüziüüllende from the main line, e.g.
B. the auxiliary air or the control air tank is connected. The chambers 6 and 7 are separated by the piston 9 connected to the plunger 11,
which is pushed upwards by the spring 13 resting on the intermediate wall 12. The plunger 11 engages in the chamber 8 through an opening closed by a sealing ring 14 in the partition wall 12 and normally rests with its end on a valve body 15.
This is guided displaceably in the housing 5 by means of a cross-sectionally cross-shaped part 16, this part 16 forming a connection between the chambers 8 and 10 when the valve body 15 is lifted from its seat 17.
At the with a recess for the acquisition of a sealing body 18 made of rubber or the like provided underside of the valve body is supported on the housing coil spring 19 to the. Normally lift the valve body from its seat.
According to FIG. 3, two filling branches connected in parallel are provided for filling the auxiliary air container H. One of the same leads from, the main line L via the check valve 31 and! from here either via the throttle point 3.2 or in parallel via the feed valve 33 to the auxiliary air tank H.
The feed valve 33 is actuated by a diaphragm piston 34 under the influence of the pressure difference between the control air tank S and the auxiliary air tank H,
a spring 35 normally holding the valve closed. The second branch for the Püfhmg of the container H leads from the main line L into the chamber 8 of the monitoring valve 36.
The plunger 11 protruding into the chamber 8 is seated on the diaphragm piston 37, which separates the chamber 7 connected to the outside air from the chamber 6 connected to the brake cylinder Br, and which is pressed upward by the spring 13.
At the end of the tappet 11, the valve body 15 is guided displaceably through a bushing 38 and is normally pushed by the spring 19 upwards against the tappet:
11 pressed. Under the valve body 15 a first seat arranged on the partition 39 and a second seat protruding concentrically into this and formed by the end of the pipe 41 leading to the control air reservoir S via the throttle point 44 are provided.
When the valve is open, the chamber 8 is connected to the chamber 10 connected to the auxiliary air tank H via the sensitivity bore 43 and to the line 41 in connection. When the monitoring valve is in the closed position, the pressure
in the chamber 8 on the valve body 15 a force pressing it on its seat, since in this position the area of the valve body 1.5 inside the valve seat is withdrawn from the effect of the pressure in the chamber 8,
the downward-acting partial force exerted on the valve body by the chamber pressure thus outweighs the partial force acting for the opposite direction.
The mode of operation of the one-night operation according to FIG. 3 is as follows: the brake cylinder Br is filled in the usual way from the auxiliary air tank H via the line 42 leading to the control valve (not shown) when the brake is activated,
the pressure generated in it being transferred into the chamber 6 and pressing the valve body 15 'onto its double seat. The Verwaehungpventil 36 leading connection of the main line L with the two containers. S and H are interrupted.
The feed valve 33 opens when the brakes are applied for the first time under the influence of the pressure of the control air container S, which predominates compared to the hip container pressure. The check valve 31 prevents the auxiliary air container H from being emptied into the main line L .
As soon as the pressure in the main line L rises above that in the auxiliary air tank H during the release process, the latter is filled via the feed valve 33 until its pressure is below that in the control air tank S by an amount corresponding to the force of the spring 35.
The feed valve 33 now closes under the influence of this spring, so that the auxiliary air tank H is only charged further via the throttle point 32.
The connection leading through the feed valve 33 is known so that the time required for sensing the I3'Lfsluftbehälters H at an operating pressure corresponds to the pressure in the main line L and the release time of the brake. However, if the engine driver applies a higher pressure filling,
so the filling of the auxiliary luit container is faster. As a result, the feed valve 33 closes before the release process is complete, and further filling takes place via the throttle point 32.
After the pressure in the brake cylinder 13r has dropped to a low value, the plunger 11 of the monitoring valve 36 goes upwards under the influence of the spring 13 and thus releases the valve body 15.
As a result of the filling stroke in the main line L, the pressure of which is higher than the pressure of the tanks H and S, which have been refilled to the operating pressure, the valve body 15 remains at its;
Seat pressed so that the connection between the main line L and the two containers H and S leading via the monitoring valve 36 remains interrupted.
Only after the pressure in the main line has dropped to one. around :
a small amount above the operating pressure, this connection is opened under the influence of Fe of 1.9 and the pressure of containers H and S. Both containers S and H are thus connected to the main line via flow cross-sections which are large in relation to the throttle point 32.
In the wagons on the front part of a train, when a filling stroke is used to release the braking, there is initially a connection with a large cross-section for rapid filling of the auxiliary air container via the feed valve 33, and then a connection with a small one;
, Cross-section for further slow filling via the throttle point 32 and after the end of the foot impact again a connection of larger cross-section leading via the monitoring valve 36. The DrosselsteHe 32 is used to remove overloads in the main line. The filling of the empty.
The container takes place exclusively via the last-named one, which contains the monitoring valve, since the feed valve 33 is closed at the same pressure in both containers.
The embodiment of FIG. 2 differs from those of FIGS. 1 and 3 in the following points: Instead of a piston, there is one on. a shoulder of the Ge housing 5 supported membrane 21 is provided, the central part of which:
rests on a plate 22 rigidly connected to the plunger 7.1. Furthermore, instead of the sealing ring 14 of the figure:
1 in a recess of the housing 5, a white direct membrane 23 is arranged eel, which is pressed by the pressure in the chamber 8 against a plate 24 also rigidly connected to the plunger 11. The two membranes 21 and 23 are uni. so-called self-tightening membranes, the cuffs of which are inserted in the chambers 6 or
8 rule. Pressures are pressed against the housing wall to form a seal.
The lower end of the plunger 11 is designed as an annular valve seat 26 which is normally against. a sealing body 25 on top of the valve body 15 places. As in the example in FIG. 1, this can be displaced in the housing 5 by means of a part 1.6 in the form of a cross section
guided and is normally urged upwards by a spring 19. In part 16, a bore 27 is seen, which opens via a narrowed Steil'e 28 on the top of the valve body 15 within the valve seat 26.
The monitoring valve according to FIG. 2 is assembled with the organs shown in FIG. 3 in the same way as the monitoring valve according to FIG. 1,
however, the connection of the check valve 31 containing the throttle point 32 with the auxiliary air tank H is omitted.
This connection is replaced by the throttle point .28, which occurs after the brake cylinder pressure has dropped:
a lifting of the plunger 11 enables the pressure of the main line acting on the diaphragm 23. Value is opened. - Otherwise, the monitoring valve works according to F-Lg. 2 in the same way as that of FIG. 1.
