Method for operating a gas turbine plant The patent relates to a method for operating a gas turbine plant operated with fuel gases of low calorific value, in which both the fuel gas and the combustion air are upstream of the turbine before they enter. Racing chimneys are compacted.
It is already known to drive gas turbine systems with fuel gases with a low calorific value instead of full liquid fuels or high-quality natural gases. For example, gas from blast furnaces can be used for this.
This fuel gas must now be able to be introduced into the pressurized combustion chamber, first in a special fuel gas dispenser. be prinliert.
There. However, if the hot gas has only a low heat value, its volume in relation to the amount of air to be fed to the combustion chamber 71 is not vanishingly small, but is 10 to 90 1 / a that air, #, oliiinens. Partial failure of fuel gas,
For example, if fewer blast furnaces are in operation than in the case of an emergency, a higher calorific value can be compensated for by additional combustion of a fuel. In doing so, however, there is a great difficulty: the turbine is maintained.
a smaller amount of gas is supplied, since the lower fuel gas range also contains a reduced proportion of non-combustible gases; as a result, the pressure drops. at the entrance. of the turbine, the output of the system goes down and the turbine works at a less favorable point of its C1laxak, - teristik.
According to the method according to the invention, this difficulty is circumvented in that when the supply of fuel gas decreases, a fuel with a higher calorific value is introduced as a substitute, and an additional amount of air is introduced into the combustion chamber. The fuel with a higher calorific value replaces the lack of heating due to the partial failure of the fuel gas.
The additional amount of air replaces the non-combustible part of the fuel gas. It should be noted that the additional amount of air is not needed to completely burn the fuel with a higher calorific value, since the turbine is already operated with excess air without this additional amount of air. Secondly, the amount of air is increased to such an extent that the pressure at the turbine inlet remains roughly constant, and so much fuel is added that the temperature at the turbine inlet is also kept roughly constant.
The gas turbine system according to the invention for carrying out this method is characterized in that the compressor has means for the combustion shift in order to convey a variable amount of air. This can be done, for example, by connecting a further verdict stage. You can also vary the speed of the rotator.
However, if the compressor for the combustion air is driven by the power turbine and therefore has to maintain a constant speed, it is advantageous if the compressor for the combustion air is at least partially with adjustable blades, in particular with adjustable Leitsehaufelln, is equipped.
Finally, it must be taken into account that the fuel gas dispenser must deliver a certain minimum amount so that it works above the pin png time. As is well known, a return line is therefore routed from the compressor outlet to the compressor inlet, through which part of the fuel gas being pumped is circulated.
If it is not possible to adapt the fuel gas compressor to the reduced delivery volume by other means, for example through speed control, because the fuel gas compressor is driven by the high-performance turbine, the loss-making circulation can be achieved Reduce z-at least if the fuel gas, # - erdieh-- ter is at least partially equipped with adjustable blades.
An embodiment of the gas turbine system according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Herein: FIG. 1 shows a diagram of a gas turbine system and FIG. 2 shows a section as an air distributor used in the system. The method according to the invention is also explained below, for example:
The compressor 1 sucks in air and conveys it through the heat exchanger 9-, into the combustion chamber 3. The fuel gas evaporator 4 sucks in exhaust gas, for example Blast furnace and, after it has been twisted, also conveys it into the combustion chamber 36 , where it is ignited. The gas mixture resulting from the combustion drives the turbine 5 and is then discharged through the heat exchanger 2 to preheat the combustion air and then to the outside.
The air compressor 1 and the door. bine 5 sit on a common shaft on which the useful power receiver, here an electric generator 6 , is also arranged. Brenngasverdiehter 4 is driven by the same wool via an increase gear 7 . For control purposes, the fuel gas dispenser 4 has a return line 8, into which a control element 9 and a cooler 10 are connected.
If the fuel is too low, for example when a blast furnace is taken out of operation, the line 12 provided with the flow control element 11 can feed a fuel with a higher calorific value into the combustion chamber 3 / B> are introduced. In this case, the combustion air compressor 1 must supply a larger amount of air in order to replace the missing volume of the fuel gas.
This is seen here by an adjustment of the blades of the evaporator 1. In a similar way. The fuel gas dispenser 4 can also be adapted to the reduced fuel delivery rate by adjusting the blade formation.
Fig-. 92 shows a section from the compressor 1 with the adjustment device for the guide vanes. The rotor 13 is equipped with rotor blades 14, the housing 15 carries the rotating guide blades 16. In this case, the guide blades of the first can be used with the Levels of the verdict can be adjusted.
By means of an adjusting lever 17 , each of the adjusting rods 19 arranged all around the housing can be rotated via a toothed gear mechanism 18 , which on its side via the bevel gears 20 Adjust guide panels 16 . For each position of the setting lever 17 there is therefore a specific position of the guide vanes 16. that can be read on the scale 21
It is irrelevant whether the individual parts of the turbine system - e- #, are driven on the same turbine 5 . For example, if you have a turbine system consisting of several sets, pulp gas and air dispensers for separate sets could be driven by a special turbine.
The compressed air for the combustion air can of course also consist of several component components, whereby it is sufficient if only a single component can be regulated. Besides that, in the feel-out example, there are only the most important. Plant parts shown, which by two elements, such as Zw! - sebenküliler, Regeleinriehtungen u. a., can be supplemented ..
