Device for machine stripping of wire ends The invention relates to a device for machine stripping wire ends and to a method for the manufacture of this device. This device is equipped with a clamped in a carrier, with this rotating cutting disk and must be set in rotation for its application about its longitudinal axis. The cutting disk has cutouts and interposed cutting knife forming tongues, the radially inner free ends of the tongues delimiting a circular bore.
When inserting a wire end into the device, in which wire end the diameter of the metallic part must be the same as the diameter of the circular bore, the cutting knives can avoid the insulation material, while they are held in the working position by a stop surface when pulling backwards and effect the stripping.
In the drawing, which shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the stripping device along the line AA in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a view from above according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a cutting disk on a larger scale from the front and in section along the line BB.
The carrier 10 is provided at its foremost end 11 with a seat 12 for receiving the cutting disc 20 and with an external thread. The rear, cylindrical find '13 is used to clamp the carrier 10 in a chuck, not shown. which is driven, for example, by an electric motor. The front end 11 and the rear cylindrical end 13 are connected to one another by the two webs 14. The bore 15 in the cylindrical part 13 of the carrier 10 serves to receive a stop 30.
This stop 30 pressed into the bore 15 is used to limit the length of the stripping. The head 40, designed as a union nut and provided with an edge 41, is screwed by hand onto the external thread of the front support end 11. The cutting disk 20 is pressed into its seat 12 by the stop surface 42 of the head 40. The bore 43 in the head 40 corresponds to the outer diameter of the wire to be freed from the insulation.
As can be seen from Fig. 3, the flat cutting disc 20 with a central Boh tion 21 is provided. This hole matches the diameter of the bare wire. The three cutouts 22 form three sharp-edged cutting knives 23. Without deviating from the essence of the invention, the shape and number of the cutouts can also be selected so that a cutting disk has only two or even more than three cutting knives. Such cutting disks can also be made of flat "steel strip, e.g.
B. made of hardened spring steel, be punched out animal.
For stripping a wire end this is inserted through the bore 43 in the rapidly ro animal device until it hits the 30 stop. The Sehneid knife 23 give way to the insulation material that surrounds the bare wire by bending backwards. When the end of the wire is pulled backwards, the sharp-edged cutting knives 23 dig into the insulation and follow the movement of the wire until they are stopped by the stop surface 42.
In this position, which corresponds to the working position of the cutting knife, they now effect the stripping of the wire end while it is being pulled out of the device.
It is of no importance for the inventive concept whether, when working with this device, the wire end is guided into the stripping device or the stripping device is guided against the wire end.
