Unterlagsseheiben sind keine not wendig.
Reinforcement element for screw holes When connecting components, e.g. B. of wooden parts, through screw bolts, it happens again and again that the outer ends of the visual anchors, often when the visual screw connection is made for the first time, but especially after the screw connection has been loosened several times, are injured and damaged.
This occurs especially when the Ehraui) enlocliende is designed as a seat for the square approach of truss-head screws to prevent the screw from turning when tightening or: loosening the nut.
The outer surfaces in the vicinity of the screw hole ends are also quickly damaged by the bolt head or the nut if the components to be connected are made of soft material. This occurs even if washers are inserted, because they can also turn these washers when loosening and testing the nut.
In this regard, a significant improvement can be achieved by using the reinforcing elements of the invention for visual arborists.
Their characteristics are that a metal disk is provided with points which are regularly distributed over its circumference and which are angled perpendicular to the disk surface and a central hole which is surrounded by wall surfaces protruding in the direction of the points mentioned. The wall surfaces of the center hole can give the same a polygonal cross-section, with which they can form the seat for the polygon approach of a truss head screw.
The center hole can also have a cylindrical wall if it is to serve, for example, as a pivot bearing for the screw benbolzen.
Embodiments of the subject invention are in the drawing Darge provides. 1 shows a reinforcement element with a prismatic center hole in a diagrammatic representation, FIG. 2 shows a reinforcement element with a cylindrical wall of the center hole, also in a diagrammatic representation, FIG. 3 shows an axial section through a screw connection of two wooden parts that are mutually aligned can rotate the screw axis.
The reinforcing element 10 according to FIG. 1 consists of a metal disk 11, on the periphery of which points 12 are arranged, regularly distributed and at right angles from the disk surface.
In the center, the disk 10 has a hole 13, this hole being surrounded by wall surfaces 14 which protrude in the direction of the tips 12 from the disk surface. These wall surfaces 14 lie on a square and accordingly form a center hole with a square cross-section, which can serve as a seat for the square approach of a truss head screw.
The reinforcement element 20 according to FIG. 2 is designed quite similarly to the element 10 according to FIG. 1 in that it also has a disk 21 with peripheral tips 22. The difference compared to FIG. 1 lies in the design of the center hole 23 in that the protruding wall surface is formed from a cylindrical shape so that the hole can form a pivot bearing for a round screw bolt.
Fig. 3 shows a type of use of sol chen elements 10 and 20. Shown is a screw connection of two wooden parts 3 and 4 with the help of a flat round tube 5, a rotary movement of these parts is possible. A reinforcing element 10 according to Figure 1 is inserted into the wooden part 3 as a seat for the square neck 51 of the screw bolt 5. The outer surface of the washer 11 forms the bearing surface for the flat head 52 of the screw 5.
So that the disc surface 11 does not protrude beyond the outer surface of the wooden element 3, a circular recess 31 is cut out around the screw hole, which serves as a bed for the disc body. The peripherally arranged on the disc body tips 12 penetrate when tightening the courage ter 53 into the wood, and secure the reinforcing element in this position.
On the other side of the wooden part 3 and on both sides of the screw hole in the wooden part 4 reinforcement elements 20 according to FIG. 2 are set - here with 20a, 20b and 20e denoted -, the two adjacent elements 20a and 20b not sunk. are. Your adjacent disc surfaces bil the joint surfaces of the connection. The submerged element. With its outer surface, 20c forms the bearing surface for the screw nut 53.
The cylindrical center holes of the ele ments 20 form bearings for the screw bolts 5. Washers are not necessary.
The reinforcement elements described are easy to manufacture; their installation is easy; the wood parts burst. not to be feared, and they can practically fully serve their purpose.
It is important that the number of peaks is large; it should be 6-12, because this is the best way to prevent pieces of wood from being split when the reinforcing element is driven in.
