Heat-resistant, stable austenitic steel Heat-resistant components can either be machined from rolled or welded materials or by casting using the die casting process. getting produced. Since many hot-melt materials, especially for stresses at higher temperatures, are difficult to work with, an increased use of the die casting process has recently proven to be advantageous.
It has been shown that many of the alloys previously used to manufacture rolled or sealed materials are unsuitable for the manufacture of cast styles. In particular, it has been found that known rolled or forged alloys in many cases do not have the glowing, favorable mechanical properties in the cast state and that their castability does not meet the requirements n.
The steels intended for rolling or forging are generally cast in ingot molds as block castings, while cast steel is cast in refractory molds. During the transition from the liquid to the solid state, both in the case of Bloel, steel casting and steel form "-tiss, the casting material goes through the primary crystallization stage, which means that, according to certain regularities, the melt forms crystals of a specific arrangement and configuration .
These primarily formed crystals are retained in stable austenitic alloys down to room temperature. In addition, secondary phases occur in the Gi - issn-istand at room temperature, in which a distinction can be made between phases that are excreted above the solidus line, i.e. can no longer be made to disappear after a solution treatment, and phases, which arise below the solidus line and,
with a solution treatment can be completely converted into the base mass depending on the temperature.
The process paths for steel ingot casting and cast steel are separated during further processing insofar as the ingot steel casting is subjected to plastic hot or cold deformation. The primary crystallites are stretched on one side, forming the familiar line structure, and the selenium and undärpha3en are shattered and deformed.
In contrast to Bloek steel casting, with cast steel, if no special heat treatment (solution treatment) takes place, secondary phases and the primary crystallites are retained in their original form.
This fact shows that there are differences in mechanical properties between rolled and cast materials due to their different structure, with the suitable formation of the secondary phase rope and the austenite grain size for high warin strength being important for steel forging / B>. On the other hand , in the case of forged or rolled material, unfavorable austenite grains,
-size or secondary-phase training still produce satisfactory material properties.
In steel castings, a solution treatment that leads to a reduction or even complete disappearance of the secondary phases cannot be carried out for many C castings because of impermissible changes in shape when cooling from the very high necessary solution temperatures.
On the other hand, the rolled or forged material can generally be subjected to a solution before machining, in which all phases below the solidus line can be made to disappear.
The relationships described for steel castings apply to a greater extent to alloys that are cast in hot molds, for example in the precision casting process. As a result of the differences between the cooling conditions for cold and hot molds, specific forms of the secondary phases can occur, which have an increased effect on the heat resistance of the casting material.
The present invention relates to a heat-resistant, stable austenitic steel, which is characterized by good castability and, compared to other alloys which are approximately equal in terms of heat resistance, has a significantly lower content of difficult-to-obtain and expensive metal alloys.
The steel according to the invention has the following components: C 0.05-0.451 / o carbon, 16-27 % chromium, 10-30% nickel, cobalt and Manolan for approximately equal weighted parts in a total ratio between 6 and 1211 / o and molybdenum,
Wolfrain and NiobiTantalum in a total content between 6 and 8%, with the proportions of molybdenum, tungsten and niobium; Tantalum like (3 0.8) : ('-> 0.8): (1 0.8) behave.
A steel. According to the invention, phosphorus and sulfur in a total content of these elements can be up to 0.1. Have % . To increase the corrosion resistance, Siliehun can in certain cases advantageously be contained in an amount of up to 21%. A steel according to the invention can additionally contain 0.1 to 0.2 % steel. In order to increase the high temperature strength, it is recommended to add boron to a steel according to the invention in an amount of at least 0.4 and at most 1.00 feet.
Furthermore, a heat-resistant steel according to the invention can expediently have the elements nickel, cobalt and manganese in a total content of about 2511 / o with the simultaneous presence of nitrogen. A steel of the composition according to the invention can be subjected to aging treatment after casting.
Here, the cooling of the casting can be delayed after the release. It is also advisable to measure the carbon contained in the steel according to the invention in such a way that no interrelated network of eutectic phases occurs.
For example, a steel with the following composition has proven to be particularly suitable: 0.1.5% carbon 0.80 / 0 silicon 411 / o manganese 181/0 chromium 170 / a nickel 40/9 Cobalt Molecules 1-, 51 / o Tungsten 1.51 / o NioN'Tantal 0.15 1 / o Nitrogen Objects which were produced from the steel of the above composition by casting have one Test load of 23 k,
- / 'mm2 and a test temperature of 700' C a service life to breakage of 324 hours.
It should be noted that niobium and tantalum. represent related elements that always occur together. In a steel according to the invention, therefore, niobium / tantalum means the total amount of niobium and tantalum present, the individual proportions of these elements being able to vary as desired within the total amount given.
The graphical representation shown in the drawing illustrates the influence of the quantitative proportions of the elements Ko balt and Man, -an on the high-temperature strength of a steel according to the invention.
In the composition of the alloy according to the invention, the following points are taken into account.
It is known that the high-temperature strength depends on the level of the recrystallization temperature of the base mass, on the amount and the formation of the incorporated secondary phases and the finely dispersed phases separated into the base mass.
When developing the steel composition according to the invention, an iron-based base material with the following composition was selected: 0.1-5 1 / o carbon 181 / o chromium 25% Niekel '0,
2 0/9 Stiekstoff Since the additives to increase the recrystallization temperature of the base mass and to achieve the desired separation effects are mainly the elements molybdenum, tungsten and niobium valley, i.e. such elements as that y area, the nickel content was set to 25 % in order to obtain a stable, austenitic matrix.
The selected chromium content depends on the requirements made with regard to corrosion resistance, which can at best be increased by adding silicon, advantageously by up to 2%. The addition of nitrogen to the base mass is done to save Niekel and to achieve suitable separation effects.
When measuring the quantitative proportions of the additional elements molybdenum, tungsten and niobium / tautal, the procedure was Z, (yen that the sum of these elements is constant at 4 11h, 6 1 / o, 8 % and above.
At the same time it was taken into account that the carbon contained in the alloy must also be matched to these additional elements. Based on the tests within the above ranges, it was found that even slight changes in the mutual ratio of the additional elements molybdenum, tungsten and niobium / tantalum cause extraordinary changes in the warning resistance.
The following table contains. the time accumulation values for cast steels with the base mass mentioned and a total content of 6% of the additional elements molybdenum, tungsten and niobium / tantalum for various mutual proportions of these additional elements.
The service life up to the break was measured in all cases at a test temperature of 7000 C and a test load of 23 kg / mm9.

5 <SEP> 1-0 The creep values entered in the table above clearly show the decisive importance of the mutual proportions of the additional elements for the high-temperature strength of different alloys with the same basic mass.
The steels a, b and e with a quantitative ratio of the elements molybdenum, tungsten and niobium / tantalum according to the invention have a creep value which is a multiple of that of the steels d, e, f and g , although the corresponding quantitative ratios are numerically only small differences from.
different from those of steels a, b and c .
- \ - after the aforementioned coordination of the additional elements - # lolvbdün, -Wolfra in and niobium; ' Tantalum was attempted to achieve a further increase in warmth by changing the base mass. In a first attempt, a part of the nickel was replaced by cobalt, namely cobalt was added in increasing amounts up to a maximum of 10 0 / a.
In a further series of tests, the Niekel content of the base material was partially replaced by manganese in a proportion of this element up to also 10 1 / o. These measures did not result in any significant improvements in the heat resistance properties.
A surprising improvement in the creep, #; values, was achieved with partial replacement of the nickel together with approximately the same (-wild parts of cobalt and manganese with a total content of these two elements of 6-12 1) , 10 can be achieved.

The sum of the Mn and Co contents is. Equal to the replaced Niekel content, whereby the intersection pLink of the coordinate axes corresponds to a Niekel- e (rehaft of 25 11 / o. A further surprising improvement in the heat resistance resulted from the addition of boron in one. Content of at least 0.41 / o and at most 1.01 / e. For example, has a steel.

Steels according to the invention can be subjected to an aging treatment. This can be done either by heat treatment in the furnace or after the gas parts have been installed in the relevant machines at practical operating temperatures. The Altei-un.-Sbehandl-Lm- can also be brought about after the pouring by delayed cooling.
An essential quality. of gas alloys is naturally their castability. It is known that the flow capacity of liquid steel increases with increasing carbon content. On the other hand, higher carbon contents allow an increasing amount coherent network of eutectic phases arise, which can cause a decrease in heat resistance.
In the case of a steel according to the invention, good liquid properties with equally favorable heat resistance properties can be achieved by dimensioning the carbon content such that the structure does not have a coherent network of eutectic phases.
The connection of a steel according to the invention is not restricted to the production of cast objects. Steels of the composition according to the invention can also be processed into rolled or forged material, which is used for the production of heat-resistant components.
