Sound device for film scanning. -1-) he invention relates to a sound device for scanning Tonaufzeieliuungen a film tape, in which close to your film tape a photocell ['üi- Liehttonabtastung is arranged. She asked (len Zweek to design the sound device in such a way that it can also be used for scanning magnetic sound recordings.
Devices mini inagnetiselien scanning of the sound with a sound head are known. The expected development of the sound film will allow it to happen in the foreseeable future. never set up playback devices exclusively according to this process, as a large part of the films must continue to be made according to your optical sound process such as (ler #, e-, even.
According to the invention, a holding device, in particular a housing, is therefore designed on a sound device in which a photocell for soft-tone scanning is arranged next to the film tape, so that it can accommodate the photocell or alternatively a dummy cell instead and the dummy cell is designed in such a way that it has an external shape corresponding to the photocell, in particular electrical contacts arranged in the same way, and contains a magnetic head for scanning a magnetic sound recording.
With this guidance it is possible, with a single movement of the hand, to easily change a component in the holding device without any other change in the toüger from optical sound to magnetic sound method - and vice versa. The costs for this facility are low.
Two embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, namely Fig. 1 shows the view. of a sound device and FIG. 2 shows a section through the sound device according to 11-II of FIGS. 1, 3, the view of the associated holding device.
Fig. 4 shows another embodiment in the view, Fig. 5 The plan for this with a cut clay track.
FIG. 6 is a longitudinal section through the blind cell of FIGS. 4 and 5, and FIG. 7 shows the cross section through this blind cell Level VII-VII of Fig. 6. An embodiment with a one-piece clay roller is shown in Figs. 1 to 3. In a housing B > 1 of a sound device, a shaft 2 is mounted, which carries a sound roll 3 at its outer end. This is open to the operator side.
The inner end of the shaft is directly or indirectly connected to a flywheel in a manner known and not shown.
A small Of ehilise 4 is attached to your housing 1 , which contains a clay lamp 5 . A micro-optic 6 is inserted into a lateral opening of the housing 4.
A holder 7 is also attached to the housing 1 with two screws 8 and 9 . The front end 10 (Fig. 3) of the holder is forked ; ZZ, Z, and includes a i5ri'iiuii1 (# 11 -. The holder 7 contains a tube 1-2 through which an electrical line 1,3 is routed, which connects the amplifier (not shown) with a screw 14 which it is fastened with two nuts 15 and 16 The screw 14 sits in a plate 1.7 made of insulating material that is attached to the holder 7 is attached.
The screw 1.4 has a contact spring 18. on its side facing the opening 11
A dummy cell 19 is inserted into the opening 11 of the holder 7 . It contains one. Ma gnetkopf 20, which is resiliently pressed outward in a manner not shown. The magnet head 20 has a recess 21 at its outer end, so that with its end it rides past all of the clay reel 3 to a film strip 22 placed on the clay reel. The magnetic head is connected to a contact pin 23 by an electrical line (not shown).
In the arrangement shown, there is "" sound device for magnetic scanning is set up. The sound head 20 slides on the film strip 22. In the process, electrical voltages are generated in it, which are taken off at the contact 23 by the contact spring 18 and via a screw 14 and line 13 are fed to the amplifier.
To set up the device for Lielitton scanning, one pulls the blind cell as the opening 1.1, whereby the forked end 10 of the -1-age opens the way to the door of the sound head . Instead of the dummy cell 19 , a photo cell can then be used, the contact of which also rests on the contact spring 18 . If the clay lamp 5 is switched on, it throws a narrow strip of Lielit onto the film tape 22 with the aid of the optics 6 .
This line is scanned by the photocell; the resulting tensions in the cell are in turn sent to the pre-amplifier via screw 14 and cable 13.
An embodiment of the invention with a split clay roller is shown in FIGS. 4 to 7. The shaft 2, which is mounted in the housing (not shown), has two bell-shaped parts 24 and 25 at the outer end, together. form the C clay pods. They are airr the wool 2] '- scholjen and held firmly with pins 26 and 27 .
A holder 9- (9 is on the part (not shown) and protrudes with its end 29 between the clay roller halves 24 and 25, enclosing the axis 2 with play. The holder 28 contains a bore 30 in which a line 31 \ runs. This leads to a sleeve 32 made of insulating material, which is inserted into the Holder 28 is firmly in place. Two screws 33 and 34 are screwed into the socket 32 .
The line 31 protrudes into a cross-drilled ring 35 of the B-bracket 32 and is inserted between the screws 33 and 34 clamped. The vision hood 34 also holds a flat, arcuate contact spring 36.
A m, lindrisehes housing 37 is fastened in the end 29 of the holder 28. On the top it has an elongated opening 38 which can be seen at a point between the clay track halves 24 and 25 to the side and downwards to below the axis of the The horizontal level in the housing continues.
Through two openings 39 and 40 in the front half 25 of the drum, the drum aid 25 is in the corresponding positions of the front side of the housing 37 -and the screw 33 accessible.
A dummy cell 41 is inserted into the casing 37. You ordered from a housing 4.2, in which a Cleitkörper 43 is inserted. In the sliding body 43 sits a screw 44 which slides in a slot 45 of the housing 42 and so a. Rotation of the sliding body 43 prevents. The housing 42 is closed by a screw 46. A spring 47 is inserted between the bottom of the housing 42 and the guide body 43.
A screw 48 rests against screw 46 with a collar 49 and engages in a mat thread which is attached in sliding body 43. It is extended to the outside through a hole in the screw 46.
The Cleitkörper receives the audio head 50 in a cutout running transversely to its axis. A compression spring 51 , which is supported against a screw 52 , sits in a drill hole that is identical to this. This screw is accessible through an opening 53 in the housing 42.
The sound head has a lateral recess 54. A pin 55 which is inserted into the sliding body 43 engages in this and thus limits the play of the tape head 50 . An insulating bushing 56 is inserted into the bottom of the housing 42, and a contact pin 57 is inserted into it. This is connected to the audio head through a line 58. connected.
A slot 59 is milled into the screw 46 on the outside.
The contact pressure of the tape head 50 against the filin tape is set using the screw 52 before the blind cell is inserted. If the blind alia 41 is to be pushed into the housing 37 , then the clay head 50 is directed upwards and let into the opening Slide B> 38 until the dummy cell is pushed in to the depth intended for operation. Then you turn the dummy cell with the help of the slit 59 -by 900 to the left, with the sound head 50 in the downward continuation of the opening < B> 38 slides.
This brings it into the operating position so that it rests on a film tape that has been flipped past. By turning the screw 48 one sets the tape head laterally after the Tonstrei fen of the film tape.
The contact bar 57 touches the contact bar 36 in the operating position. The electrical voltages generated in the sound head 50 during scanning are transmitted via line 58 , contact bolts 57, contact 36, screw 34 and wire 31 fed to the amplifier. To convert the sound device to optical sound scanning, remove the dummy cell and insert a photocell into the housing 37 . This has a contact bolt corresponding to the dummy cell, with which it also touches the contact spring 36 .
The light coming from an optical device (not shown) passes through the perpendicular extension of the opening 38 into the photocell and triggers voltages there that are generated via the contacts 36, screw 34 and Leitune 31 are fed to the amplifier.
