Installation on spinning machines with a thread breakage suction system. In spinning machines with a yarn break suction system, especially in roving machines, precautions are taken to immediately shut off the suction air flow in the yarn suction nozzles when the main drive of the machine is stopped.
The subject of the present inven tion now forms a device on spinning machines with a thread breakage suction system, which is switched off in the event of a thread breakage as well as the main drive of the spinning machine, and which is characterized by the fact that when the main drive of the spinning machine is switched on again, the suction in the suction nozzles only starts fully when the full thread speed is reached again. This prevents the roving or the freshly knotted and therefore re-tensioned thread from being sucked in and torn off by the air stream, particularly in the case of roving machines.
The delay can advantageously take place by electrical, mechanical or pneumatic means.
In the accompanying drawings, exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are illustrated. 1 schematically shows an electrical switching device for switching the main drive motor for the spinning machine and the exhaust motor on and off, FIG. 2 schematically shows a device in which the air flow is switched on with a delay by means of mechanically controlled air flaps, FIG. 3 a delay device , with air flaps controlled by air pressure.
In the device according to FIG. 1, the spinning machine is driven by the main drive motor 2 via the shaft 1. The Rol len 3, which sit on the shaft 4, promote the thread 5 to the wing 6. An air duct 7 extending over the entire length of the spinning machine is provided with suction nozzles 8 behind the elongated thread 5 between the wing 6 and the roll 3 open. The air duct 7 opens into the filter box 9, from which the air is sucked off by means of the exhaustor 10, driven by the motor 11.
From the line network 12 branches off a line 13 after the contactor 14, which is controlled via line 15 by a current surge, which can be generated, for example, by a photocell or by a contact operated by a thread monitor. A line 16 leads from the contactor 14 to the motor 2 and one to the motor 11 of the exhaustor 10. Between the motor 11 and the contactor 14, a delay relay 17, which can be set for a certain time, is switched on, through which the motor 11 only after the motor 2 is switched on. The delay is thus carried out by electrical means. The switch S completely switches off the current.
In machines in which, as shown in FIG. 2, the air duct 7 is connected to a collecting line 20, the delay in the use of air flow can be produced by a flap 21. A centrifugal controller Z, which is mounted on the shaft 1, serves to mechanically control the flap 21 and thus the delay.
This controller pushes the sliding sleeve 22 to the right and moves the handlebar 26 via the double lever 23, which is mounted on the bolt 24 and engages with one end with a pin 25 in the groove of the bush 22, wel cher on the lever 27 the flap 21 is articulated. The handlebar 26 is provided with an elongated hole 28 into which a bolt 29 of the lever 23 engages. When the motor 2, which rotates the shaft 1, is switched on, the balls of the centrifugal regulator move outwards and move the sleeve 22 to the right.
First, the pin 29 of the lever 23 moves in the elongated hole 28 of the handlebar 26, and only when the full number of revolutions of the shaft 1 is reached, the flap 21 is completely open. This ensures that the flow at the suction mouths 8 only begins fully when the machine has reached its normal number of revolutions and the thread is pulling past the mouths at the appropriate speed.
3 and 4 show a device in which each air duct 7 (Fig.1). connect with its own exhaustor. With this device, both the main drive motor for the spinning machine and the motor for the exhaustor can be switched on simultaneously and without delay.
Fig. 3 shows the pipe 7 with a double flap which can be pivoted about the bolt 32. On the air duct 7, at the bolt 32, there is an intake port. 33, which is much smaller in cross section than the cross section of the air duct 7. The double flap pivoting around the bolt 32 can alternately close the intake port 33 with the part 34 and the air duct 7 with the other part 34a.
When the two motors are switched on at the same time, the part 7a of the channel 7 leading to the filter box and the filter box empty is sucked through the exhaustor before a suction effect occurs on the flap 34c closing the channel 7. As long as the suction has not reached a certain value, air can penetrate into the channel 7a through the connecting piece 33. If the flow speed increases, then the pressure on the flap 34a is greater than on the small flap 34, so that the flaps ixt reach the position in FIG.
The suction air flow has now fully opened the flap 34a and thus at the same time closed the nozzle 33 through the flap 34 completely dig. At the moment when the Exhaustor motor 11 is shut down together with the motor 2, the air flow in the channel 7 ceases and the flap 34 falls into the position shown in FIG. The suction effect is delayed here pneumatically.
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 4, the delay time can also be set, for example, by selecting the weights in FIG. 2 or by selecting the elongated hole 28.
