Double-stroke dobby, controlled by an endless, perforated sample card. The present invention relates to a double-stroke dobby which is controlled by an endless, perforated sample card and can be rotated from any position forwards or backwards, the sequence of the shaft movements in reverse as in forward movement.
The aim of the invention is, compared to known machines of this type, the number of movements that are necessary to move the associated draw hook from the position according to the scanning of the previous shot to the position according to the scanning of the during the short time of the dead path of a main knife to reduce the coming weft, so that more time is available for the remaining movements, which means that they can proceed more calmly and safely, so that the machine can work more flawlessly even with high numbers of revolutions in modern looms.
The machine according to the invention is characterized by four rows of scanning needles, the eyes of which are penetrated by blanks, the front ends of which come to stand in or out of the path of each auxiliary knife assigned to each row of scanning pins when the scanning needles are lowered onto the sample card, while the rear ends are connected to angle levers which carry the support members of the towing hooks, with the plates of two rows of wand, which scan the rows of holes in the pattern card of two successive shots for the same main knife, each with a row of angle levers or
Draw hooks are connected, the whole thing working in such a way that during the dead path of a main knife the two auxiliary knives assigned to the draw hooks of the same change their position and thereby the draw hooks opposite the main knife from the provision according to the scanning of the previous into the provision skip over according to the scanning of the incoming shot while lifting the probes,
the subsequent switching of the pattern card as well as the lowering of the needles and thus the provision of the boards against the auxiliary knives according to the scanning takes place outside this time period. The auxiliary knives can change their position one after the other, or they can change them at the same time, so the movements cross each other.
In the accompanying drawings, three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically, namely: Fig. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment at the point in time of the sewing of the sample card when all the styli are lifted and all auxiliary knives are in the rest position, Fig. 2 shows the same exemplary embodiment as Fig .l at the time when the lower main knife makes the dead path and the associated auxiliary knives change their positions, Fig.
3 the lead embodiment as Fig.l and 2 at the time when the upper main knife makes the dead path and the associated auxiliary knife change their position, Fig. 4 is the movement diagram of the parts shown in Figs. 1 to 3 during two revolutions of the loom main shaft , Fig. 5 and 6 a detail, Fig.7 and 8 schematically each a further embodiment, Fig. 9 and 10 diagrams for the movement of the auxiliary knife for the Ausführungsbei games according to Figs. 7 and B.
In the drawing, 1 denotes the design cylinder on which the sample card 2 is placed. Above it are four rows of wand 3, 4, 5, 6, which are guided at the bottom in the bar 7 and hang at the top on the rods 3 ', 4', 5 ', 6'. The latter are periodically raised by a lifting disc, not shown, and the corre sponding lever arrangement at intervals of two revolutions of the loom main shaft, the sample card is followed by two rows of holes and the rods are lowered again with the feelers. In contrast to known dobby machines, the stylus are arranged so that their longitudinal axis is directed to the center of the cylinder 1 and thus the stylus is perpendicular to the pattern card 2 placed over the cylinder jacket and is as gentle as possible.
The eyelets of the stylus are penetrated by plates 8 to 11 or 8 'to 11'. The boards of two rows of wand that scan the rows of holes in the sample card 2 for two successive shots for the same main knife, are hinged to the rear of one leg of a row of angle levers 12 and 13, on the other leg of the angle lever row 12 the Support members of the 14 for the lower, the lower main knife 22 associated draw hook 15, in the angle lever row 13, the support members 16 of the upper, the upper main knife 23 zugeordne th draw hook 17 of the dobby rest. The front end of the sinkers is brought into the path of four auxiliary knives 18 to 21 as the scanning needles are lowered.
The latter are individually controlled by lifting disks not signed and are guided in slots in the machine wall. The connection of the draw hook with the swing arm is done in a known manner and is therefore not explained further.
Both the functions and the design of individual parts of a dobby according to the execution example of FIGS. 1 to 6 are now described in more detail.
As the abscissa in Fig. 4, the time or the angle of rotation of the crankshaft during two shaft revolutions is indicated, as the ordinate of the distance covered by the various organs in question kom. The diagram lines are denoted by the number with which the organ is denoted in FIGS. 1 to 3, for which these lines represent the course of movement. The circuit of the sample card and the sample cylinder is shown by the S diagram.
Fig.1 coincides with the 180 line of Fig. 4 and shows the lower main knife 22 with the attached draw hook halfway in the decline, the upper main knife 23 with the attached draw hook halfway in the extract.
On the lower main knife 22 hang those tow hooks 15 that were previously used when the knife covered the dead path of the row 5 and with the wand. brought her related parts in its path. on the upper main knife 23 hang those tow hooks 17 which were previously brought into its path by the row of styli 6 and the parts connected to it when the knife covered the dead path.
In the drawn center position of the two main knives, all auxiliary knives are in the inner rest position, and there is a small amount of leeway between their front edge and the front end of the board, which is designed as a hook. The stylus are lifted or the rods 3'-6 'are lifted, and the 1Iusterkarte is followed by two rows of holes.
The row of holes on the sample card that was previously under row 5 of the wand moves under row 3 of the wand and the row of holes below row 6 of wand moves under row 4 of wand. Two new rows of holes come under rows 5 and 6 of wand. After the sample card has been switched, all the needles are lowered and the four rows of holes below are scanned.
Where there is a hole in the sample card, the wand with the circuit board is lowered until the latter rests on the auxiliary knife; where there is no hole in the sample card, the wand can only be lowered so far that the sinker hook stops over the auxiliary knife.
The auxiliary knives 18 and 20 with the sinkers 8 and 10 lowered into their path who immediately after scanning the pattern card pulled out again, since the draw hooks for these two shots are already attached to the main knives. If the lower main knife 22 then comes approximately in its rear position, the hooks 15 or the rockers in which they are mounted are held in a known manner by stops, and the main knife still moves a short distance, the so-called dead way , further back, section 300 to 420 in the diagram of FIG. 4.
During this time, the auxiliary knife 18 with the attached blanks for the old shot goes back into its basic position, and the auxiliary knife 19 with the blanks lowered into its path for the new shot is pulled out.
In the rest position, the angle levers 12 and 13 are pulled under the influence of the springs 24 and 25 to the stops 26 and 27, and the support members 14 and 16 hold at the rear dead center of the associated main knife, the draw hook over the path of the same. These positions are not particularly shown.
If an auxiliary knife is pulled out with the sinkers lowered into its path, the latter pivot the angle lever against the spring action, and the relevant support members lower the draw hook into the main knife path, which then pulls up the corresponding shafts. The sinkers not lowered into the path of the auxiliary knife remain with their angle levers and support members in the rest position, and the associated draw hooks are above the main knife.
If now, as noted above, the auxiliary knife 18 with s attached plates for the old shot of the main knife 22 goes back to its basic position and auxiliary knife 19 is pulled with the attached plates for the new shot of the same, so who the pulling hook 15 from the Provision according to the old one brought into provision according to the new shot. This movement phase shows the section from 300 to 420 in Figure 4, and Figure 2 shows a momentary position in this phase. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the positions of the two auxiliary knives 18 and 19 are exchanged one after the other during the dead path of the main knife 22.
After another rotation of the loom main shaft, the upper main knife 23 describes the dead path opposite the draw hook 17 (section 660 to 60 in FIG. 4), and during this time the auxiliary knives 20 and 21 change their positions and make the draw hook 17 opposite the Main knife 23 ready. FIG. 3 shows a momentary position from the section from 660 to 60 in FIG. 4.
From these explanations, the fact emerges that the sequence of the lifting of the draw hooks 15 and 17 on each main knife in the reverse direction of the dobby is exactly the opposite of that in the forward direction.
So that the needles through a not-ge, manually operated Einrich device at any time, so even when the boards are pulled through the auxiliary knife, can be lifted from the sample card, which z. B. is necessary when connecting the sample card cylinder by hand or when changing the sample card, the boards are provided with a resilient leg 28 according to FIG. It is firmly connected to the board at the rear at point X and normally runs parallel to it at a certain distance from it to the front.
After reaching the height of the wand, it wraps around half of the board with a bow 29 that is open at the bottom. The leg has a certain pretension, so that when the front end of the board is free, this with the leg as a whole of the lifting and lowering movement of the The wand follows (Fug. 5). If, on the other hand, the plate is in engagement with the auxiliary knife and the wand is lifted out, the leg 28 springs out (Fig. 6).
In the Ausfüh shown in Fig. 7 approximately example of a dobby compared to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-3, the difference is that when lowering the stylus 3-6 those who fall into a hole in the sample card 2, their associated board from the Bring the path of the associated auxiliary knife, so do not be pulled by it. If, on the other hand, no hole is hit, they remain in the path of the auxiliary knife and are pulled by it. In the basic position, the Win angle levers 12 and 13 are pressed against the stops 26 and 27 by the excess weight of their one leg and the weight of the support needles and the draw hook, and the train hooks are in their lowest position, that is, in the path of the main knife .
If the blanks are pulled, they swivel the angled levers against the effect of their excess weight and the weight of the support members and the draw hooks, and the latter are ejected from the path of the main knife.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, the plates 8 'to 11' are designed as push elements. The shape of the auxiliary knives 18 'to 21' is changed accordingly, and the auxiliary knives work in the opposite direction as in the previous examples. Otherwise, the functions are the same as in the embodiment according to FIG. 7. FIG. 8 shows the parts corresponding to the line at 360 in FIG.
9 and 10 show the course of the movements of the four auxiliary knives for the exemplary guide examples of FIGS. 7 and 8 analogous to FIG. 4. According to FIG. 9, the two auxiliary knives assigned to the same main knife cross during the dead path of the regarding main knife. According to Fig. 10, these movements take place one after the other during the dead path (see section from 300 to 420 and 660 to 60). The functions of the other organs are exactly the same as in FIG. 4 and are therefore no longer shown.
