Description
Device for regulating the air flow in sunroof automobiles. The present invention relates to a device for regulating the air flow in automobiles with sliding roofs.
As a result of opening the sunroof in a limousine, the wind blows one of those. Turbulence in the air movement inside the vehicle causes the occupants of the vehicle, especially those on the rear seats, to be annoyed during long journeys. For the passengers in the front seats, this draft can in the long run have a detrimental effect on the meso-health. Further step. as a result of the extraordinary air turbulence, strong, extremely uncomfortable C erau see on.
These deficiencies can only be remedied with the previous means more or less "that the sliding roof is almost completely closed. However, this negates the effect of the sliding roof. In order to eliminate these disadvantages, the device according to the present invention has at least one strip-shaped Guide plate that extends transversely to the direction of travel and whose front edge in the direction of travel is at least approximately in the sliding roof surface, while the rear edge protrudes at least partially over the sliding roof surface.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment deg the subject of the invention is shown. Fig. 1 shows the device diagrammatically from above, and Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the same. The automobile 2 provided with a sliding roof 1, in the example shown a folding roof, has a strip-shaped guide plate 3 which extends across the sliding roof opening transversely to the direction of travel.
The guide plate 3 is designed in such a way that its front edge 4 lies in the sliding roof surface itself or in the immediate vicinity thereof, while the rear edge 5 protrudes over the sliding roof surface, so that the guide plate 3 rises for the most part from front to back.
The guide plate 3 is useful through sight and elastic and used in the fold under half of the guide rails of the sliding roof under deformation, nm to be held by their own tension.
In the removed state, the guide plate can be housed under the rear fixed part of the roof and held by releasable fastening means.
If the sunroof opening is very large, two or more such guide plates may be arranged one behind the other.
The air flow created by the airstream is largely guided away from the vehicle interior by this guide plate, and only a small part is introduced through the rear opening and let out again at the front opening. Only small amounts of air are now carried away from the actual vehicle interior, so that the air circulation that occurs in the vehicle is bearable and becomes pleasant. By eliminating the strong turbulence, the strong noises are also eliminated.
