Das Zuschalten mehrerer Be- aufschlagLingsbögen nacheinander vermittelt Fig. 4.
Method for operating turbines, in particular gas turbines. The invention relates to a method for operating turbines and a device for performing the method.
The method according to the invention consists in that a. An admission arc provided for admission by a coolant in operating cases where an enlargement of the admission area by the propellant is desired, at least in part is admitted by the propellant.
The device according to the invention consists in that at least part of a loading arc for the coolant is connected to both the feed line for the coolant and to that for the propellant and one of the feed lines can be blocked by a switching device.
In the drawing, execution examples of the device for performing the method are shown schematically, on the basis of which the method is explained as an example.
1 shows in cross section an inflow housing of a turbine with a subdivision into three admission bends, FIG. 2 shows an inflow housing with a subdivision into two admission bends,
FIG. 3 shows an inflow housing with a subdivision into four admission bends and FIG. 4 shows an inflow housing with a subdivision into three admission bends, which can be switched on one after the other.
In Figure 1, the inlet housing is divided into three loading arcs, A, B and C. A is the loading arc through which the propellant flows (for example, the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine), B is the loading arc which only contains the coolant (for example airflow air or another coolant, for example also blower air)
is applied. The instruction sheet C can be acted upon by either the propellant or the coolant. For this purpose, a connecting pipe e is provided between the inflow pipe c and the inflow pipe d, which is in connection with the application arc C at f in Ver.
Inside the connecting pipe e there is provided a switchover flap g which can be actuated in any way and which, in the position shown, allows the propellant to access the application arc C.
If the flap is placed in the position g ′ 1m, the coolant can flow over from the inflow channel d into the admission bend C instead.
As can be seen from the drawing, the loading arcs B and C are combined into a common housing a1 and who are separated from each other only by a partition h.
The housing a2, which is exposed to the high temperatures of the gases, for the application arc A, on the other hand, is separated from the housing ai by gaps ü and i2, so that stresses due to the different temperatures of the housings a1 and a2 are largely avoided.
In the case of Figure 2, only two loading arcs A and C are provided. The application arc A is again acted upon exclusively by the propellant, while the application arc 0i, which serves to apply coolant, can also be acted upon by the propellant at times.
A connecting line ei connects the inflow channels c and d with one another. A connecting line ei ver connects the inflow channels c and d with one another.
In the position shown, a switchover flap k prevents the coolant from accessing the application arc Ci, while in the position k 'of the flap the admission of propellant to the application arc Cl is prevented and at the same time the coolant is applied to the nozzle cross-section assigned to the chamber Cl is possible.
The loading arcs A, and C, are only separated by partitions yil and h2, but can of course also in this case be angeord net by gaps that are separated by inches.
As can be seen from FIG. 3, the inflow housing can be designed in such a way that a plurality of application arcs can be switched from coolant application to propellant application at the same time.
In this case, the loading arcs A and A are provided for the propellant, which are diametrically opposite each other to prevent warping, when fed through the channels c, cl and the loading arcs C, Cl for the coolant when fed through the channels d, d1. The channels c, d. are. with a connecting line e1 and the channels cl,
dl connected to a connecting line e'1. With the flaps k, K1 'the: channels d, d1 can be blocked. A connecting rod (not shown) between k and K1 'allows both flaps to be actuated at the same time. Fig. 4 shows the switching on of several cantilever slurs one after the other.
The channel d for the coolant is divided into the channels d2 and d2 'and both channels are connected to the channel c for the propellant via the channel e2. By means of the flaps k2 and k2, it is possible to hold the instruction sheets one after the other.
The invention is of particular importance, for example, in the case of exhaust gas turbines which are arranged on aircraft and are used to drive charge fans. For example, a particularly large nozzle area is required near the ground due to the low gas velocity. On the other hand, however.
Since, due to the low speed of the turbine, the centrifugal load on the rotor is much smaller than at great heights and therefore the blades can assume a much higher temperature, the cooling effect can be reduced without any disadvantage. Another case is, for example, at particularly great heights, because here particularly large nozzle cross-sections are often necessary.
In this case, the centrifugal forces on the rotor are particularly high, but the much stronger expansion of the gas lowers the temperature of the rotor so much that the blades are heated less than when operating on the ground, even when the pressure is overpressure the outside air is usually less, which is particularly advantageous when the air is blowing.
For this reason, not so strong cooling and a reduction in the cooling air arc is permissible.
A further advantageous possible application of the invention is also given in a fresh gas turbine serving to drive a ground vehicle with sectors acted upon by cooling air. A particularly high torque is required here at the start, while the speeds of the on. power turbine are still very low.
If, for example, one assumes a turbine wheel that is subjected to 30% of the circumference with very hot gas, the torque can be doubled by doubling the Cxasbeaufschlagungsbogens to 60%.
May be. Even a brief tripling of the load sheet for the fresh gas, i.e. in the case mentioned to 90% of the scope or more, may be permissible.
