21 festgeklemmten An schlagnasen 14 bzw.
2. Sperrung der Maschinenelementbewegungen während <I>der</I> Weiterschaltung <I>der Anschlag-</I> <I>walzen.</I>
Schaltung der Maschine auf ver <I>schiedene</I> Funktionen.
Equipment on working machines to control them for any work sequence. The invention relates to a device on work machines to control them for any work sequence.
The development of work machines, such as For example, machine tools, clearly shows the end goal of fully or semi-automatic control in order to achieve both more efficient and more precise production. Such machines require certain work to be carried out for their operation, e.g. B. the workpiece to be manufactured control elements (curves, masterpieces, etc.), the production of which is not only associated with significant costs, but also requires skilled workers.
This results in the need to have highly qualified specialists as well as orders for a correspondingly large number of items that allow the allocation of the set-up costs (making the curves, testing them, etc.). In most cases, however, the number of pieces to be produced is not large enough to accommodate the expensive set-up and amortization costs.
_In order to save the production of control elements that are adapted to the workpiece, it is known to record the sequence of movements of Ma machine parts on carriers and then to use these carriers to control the work sequence. The equipment required for such a recording and for carrying out the control process, e.g. B. on electron tubes etc. is so large that this type of control is economically justified only in the rarest of cases.
The prior art, driven by the machine to be controlled control members, which cause the delivery of control pulses to Re lais by cams, slotted belts and the like, which in turn initiate switching operations to control the movement of the machine parts are not suitable for universal use. For each work process, special control means must be attached to these tax organs. The production of this control means requires trained specialists, causing a significant loss of time and is therefore only applicable for higher circulation numbers.
The invention consists in that a central control device with a rotatable control part is provided in a device on work machines to control them for any work sequence to control the movement of machine elements by electrical means that is switched on by current pulses that are made by contact be triggered via stops, each of which a machine element assigned to stops are adjustable in the direction of movement of the machine element.
Through the control device according to the invention, when appropriate stop and contact devices are attached, practically any non-automatically working Ar work machine can be converted into a fully automatic arbei tend.
In the accompanying drawing, the control device on a center lathe is shown schematically as an example embodiment of the invention. 1 shows a front view and FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the lathe with the control device, FIGS. 3 and 4 show a cross-sectional view with two different settings of the lathe, FIG. 5 shows a detail of the contacts controlled by the bench, FIG. 6 shows a circuit diagram for the movement of the central control device, FIG. 7 shows the electrical device of the control device in the diagram, FIGS. 8 to 12 show the central control device, namely FIG. 8 in an external view, FIG. 9 in longitudinal section, FIG. 10 in a front view with parts in section, FIG. 11 in a sectional view and FIG. 12 in an interior view a detail, FIG.

In Figs. 1 to 4, a commercially available center lathe is shown, for example, which has a headstock 1, a tailstock 2, a support 3, a cross slide 5, a graver house 4, a main spindle 7, which is via a continuously variable, gear lever 6 switchable gear is driven, has a norton gear which can be switched by a lever 10, a lead screw 11 and a tension screw 12. This center lathe is equipped with an additional control device for automatic turning. This additional device includes the following parts: Central control unit 1.8, stop bar 13 or stop roller 50 (cf.
Execution variant Fig. 13 to 19) to limit the longitudinal movement of the support 3, Kontaktein device 22 for pulsing by the longitudinally moving support, stop bar 21 or stop roller 50, to limit the movement of the cross slide, Kontakteinrich device 23 for pulsing by the moving Cross slide, gear 16 with motor 16a to drive the movements of the support and the slide, switching devices (clutches) 17 for the optional switching of the longitudinal movement of the support or the plane movement of the slide 5.
The drive of the main spindle 7, which is housed in the headstock 1, takes place via a main drive motor (not shown here) and via the continuously variable transmission, which is adjustable by the lever 6. The power flow to drive the slide or support feed in the normally working Spit zendrehbank takes place from the main spindle 7 via an intermediate wheel 8 to the wheels of the scissors 9 (Fig. 4); further via the norton gear, the transmission ratio of which can be adjusted by the lever 10, to the lead screw 11 or the tension screw 12.
In the case of the automatic function of this lathe (FIG. 3), the scissors 9 with the change gears are folded down so that they mesh with the output gear of the transmission 16. In this case, the power flow from the gear drive motor 16a via gear 16 continues via the change gears of the scissors 9 to the Norton gear and from here via the couplings 17, depending on their position, to the lead screw 11 or to the tension spindle 12.
In automatic operation, the longitudinal movement of the support 3 is brought about by the lead screw 11 and the plane movement of the slide 5 is brought about by the tension screw 12. Accordingly, both the lead screw 11, as when cutting threads in non-automatic operation, and the tension spindle 12, as in facing in non-automatic operation, must be turned on in the support apron during automatic operation.
The stop bars 13 and 21 are displaceably mounted and carry displaceable stop lugs 14 and 20, respectively, against which the support stop 15 and the slide stop 19 run. When the stops 15 and 19 run against the stop lugs 14 and 20 clamped to the stop strips 13 and 21, the stop strip 13 and 21 shift through which actuation of the pulse generator contacts 26, 27 and 28 is accomplished which are under-, 1-ebraeht in each contact device 22 or 23 (cf. also FIG. 5).
By actuating the pulse generator contacts, a pulse is emitted to keep the central control unit 1 going. The electrical connection can be seen from the circuit diagram in FIG. At the beginning of a shift in the relevant contact strip 13 or 21, the contacts 26 and 27 (FIG. 6) are actuated according to FIG. 5. By closing the contact 27 he follows a current flow through the auxiliary relay HR via the closed contact r3. As a result, this relay responds, closes the contact hr1 of the auxiliary relay HR, which is connected upstream of the rotary solenoid D, whereby the pulse readiness for contact r1 is established. If the stop bar 13 or
27. this reaches its end position. In this position, the contacts 28 of the pulse generator device are closed. By closing these contacts 28, the relay R is energized and responds. Since the contact r1, which is connected upstream of the rotary magnet D, is closed, the rotary magnet responds and switches the central control unit by one step. continue. The duration of the current surge for the rotary magnet D is. depending on the drop-out delay of the auxiliary relay <I> HR, </I> because the response of the relay R opens the contact r3 and the auxiliary relay HR is de-energized, whereby the contact hr1 opens.
However, when relay R responds, contact r. closed. The contact 26 has already been closed at the beginning of the bar movement, so that the relay R is fed both via the closed contact 28 and via the closed contacts r2 and 26. If now during operation in the end position of the stop bar 13 or 21 pressure fluctuations occur that temporarily open the contact 28, since this is highly sensitive, no new pulse can be given by these pressure fluctuations.
However, this arrangement also has the advantage that pulses from other pulse generator devices can be emitted at a time when one of the stop bars is in its end position, that is to say pulse position. This is particularly necessary if, for example, the support 3 was controlled against one of the stops 14 and a plan movement of the slide 5 is to be used in this position, or inverted, or other movements are to be combined.
By actuating the relay R, the contact r, 4 is also switched on, which causes the control lamp EL to light up. The control lamp KL allows the automatic setting of the machine. in the following way:
The machine is switched to manual operation, that is, the scissors 9 are folded up (Fig. 4) so that they produce the flow of force from the feed elements 11 and 12 to the main spindle 7, the clutches of the switching device 17 for the lead and pull spindle are both switched on On impact lugs 14 and 20 are loosened and moved so far that they are not a hindrance when making the desired workpiece. Now the corresponding workpiece is clamped and work is started as with normal turning on the center bench.
Instead of the lathe operator taking note of the individual vernier numbers for the adjustments of the support and the slide for repetition on the next workpiece, he sets the individual stop lugs 14 and 20 in the individual positions of the support and the cross slide against the support or Slide stop 15 or 19. The lamp KL lights up to indicate that the pulse position has been reached, since in this position contact 28 is closed and relay R responds. This position of the support or
Carriage for the automatic control of the machine is set. In terms of switching technology, provision is made, in a manner not shown, that during the setting the other switching devices apart from the pulse generation are de-energized and that the entire function of the electrical automatic system remains switched off, as will be explained below with reference to FIG.
The further setting of the automatic he follows by appropriate setting of buttons of the central control unit according to Fig. 8. Through a slot 32 of the device housing, the number indicating the respective position of a roller-like switching part (in the drawing as No. XIII) can be seen. The first visible in the slot button 33 of the switching part causes z. B. when pointing the arrow to 34 the running of the feed gear motor 16a to the right and when pointing the arrow to 35 to the left. In the circuit diagram of FIG. 7, the switching contacts v and r with the respective switching coils <I> Sch zu </I> can be seen.
If, for example, the arrow of the button 33 points to 34, the contact v is switched on, shows. the arrow of the button 33 to 35, the contact r is switched on, while in the middle position of the button no contact is made. The switching coil Sch, which is energized by the closure of the contact v, causes z. B. clockwise rotation and the switching coil <I> Sch </I> via contact -r z. B. counterclockwise rotation. The next button 36 causes e.g.
B. when pointing the arrow to 37, the switching on of the clutch 17 in the switching device for the plan movement of the carriage 5, so the tension spindle 12 (Fug. 1) and when the arrow is pointing to 38 turn on the longitudinal movement of the support, so the lead screw 11 The button 39 switches z. B. the gear 16 when pointing the arrow to 40 on rapid traverse and when pointing the arrow to 41 on feed rate. Button 42 causes e.g. B. when pointing the arrow to 43 a switching rotation of the stop roller 50 (Fug. 13) for the plan movement of the carriage 5 and when pointing the arrow to 44 a switching rotation of the stop roller 50 (Fug. 13) for the longitudinal movement of the support 3. The button 45 switches z.
B. when pointing the arrow to 47 the main drive motor and when pointing the arrow to 46 the automatic, forwarding, the central control unit itself to position 0.
If the arrow of the button 45 points to 47, there is a contact play in this case, which can be seen in the circuit diagram of FIG. When the arrow points to 46, contact 0 is closed. This becomes the rotary magnet. 1) energized. and switches. the central control unit by one step. continue. At the same time, however, the contact dl is interrupted. If contact 0 is closed again in the next position of the central control unit, this game is repeated until the control unit has reached a position in which contact 0 is open.
In the individual positions, the central control unit must be set for the desired movements and types of movement of the machine elements. The setting is made by turning the buttons, as will be explained below with reference to FIGS. 9 to 12.
By appropriately lengthening the rows of buttons, buttons can be provided to operate a spindle speed change-over device or a Vorsehubumschalteinrich- device, and control devices of additional devices, for example a turret, which takes the place of the tailstock, etc., can also be operated using additional buttons. In order to be able to set the buttons quickly, the holding part of the central control device 18 carrying the buttons can be rotated by means of a handle 48 so that the buttons can be brought in front of the slot 32 one after the other.
Once the individual buttons have been set in their respective positions, the switching part of the central control device 18 is manually reset to position 0 and the support 3, the carriage and the stop bars 13 and 21 are reset to the starting position, as is the downward movement fold the scissors 9 into engagement with gear 16 (Fig. 3). After actuation of a hand button 49 (circuit diagram Fig. 7) is carried out by the rotary magnet D of the central control device, the switching of the switching part of the control device in its first working position, whereby the full automatic sequence of the turning work is initiated.
At the end of the turning work, when the button 45 is in the corresponding position, the main drive motor is switched off and the central control unit continues to the position 0 (see above).
In terms of switching technology, provision is made that the feed motor 16a can only start when the function corresponding to the respective position of the central control device has been carried out, that is to say, for. B. if a switching rotation of a stop roller is provided, the connection to the motor 16a can only take place when the rotation is performed before seen.
Analogously, the impulses can be emitted by other contact devices such as light gap or induction devices or other devices that are switched into the path of the machine elements to be controlled, that is, the support or the cross slide. The simplest type of this pulse generator with contact springs was used here for description. Likewise, the switching of the central control device 18 can be done by other devices than a rotary magnet. This will be the case when it comes to larger control units. For example, the rotation of the central control device could be done by an intermittent working motor, which receives its control derived from the pulse device.
The central control unit has a hollow axis 71 on which a jacket 73 is rotatably arranged. This jacket 73 is switched on step by step by a switching relay 72. The pulses for actuating the switching relay are caused by the start of the stops 15, 19 of the support 3 or work tool carrier 5 against the stops 14 and 20 of the stop bar 13 and 21, respectively. In the interior of the shell 73 contact spring sets 74 are arranged, which pairs of contact springs 79 and 80 and are mounted on the hollow axis. The contact springs are connected through the hollow axle 71. The jacket 73 is composed of the rings 75, 76 and 77.
A change in the control device in the sense of an expansion, as shown in FIG. 8, or a reduction in size is possible in any way by adding or removing such rings; the housing of the control unit 18 may have to be replaced.
The individual rings 75, 76 and 77 forming the jacket carry the switch buttons 78, which each lie in a plane perpendicular to the hollow axis and are evenly distributed over the circumference of the ring. Each row of switch buttons is assigned a contact spring set 74, so that a new switch button comes between or against the contact spring sets 74 due to the incremental rotation of the casing 73 by an angle corresponding to the pitch of the switch buttons.
The switch buttons shown in Figs. 11 and 12 in detail consist of an insulating piece 81 which is provided with a locking lug 82 and a switching lug 83 which interacts with the contact spring set, as well as the shaft 84, the adjusting head and a coil spring 86 which the Pushes switch button 78 outwards. A slot 87 is arranged in the adjustment head for actuating the switch buttons. The coil spring 86 holds the locking lug 82 in one of the locking slots 88 on the inside of the ring and thus fixes the position of the switch button or the switch lug 83. An adjustment of the switch buttons takes place, for.
B. by a screwdriver that is inserted into the slot 87, by pressing in the switch button, where the latch 82 can be lifted out of its latching slot 88 and the switch button can be rotated into a desired position. The position of the switch button can be determined from the outside by means of the slot 87.
Depending on the position of the switching lug 83, this acts in the gradual Weiterdre hung of the jacket 73 against the contact spring pair 79 or the contact spring pair 80, or there is no contact in a central position of the switching lug 83. If z. B. the ring 75 associated contact spring pair 79 causes the forward movement and the contact spring pair 80 causes the backward movement of the support, the Ar beitsgangsequence of the support in the control unit can be determined in advance by appropriate position of the buttons.
The other rings 76 and 77 are assigned to other machine elements of the machine tool and effect their control depending on the setting of the buttons arranged on them, as was explained above with reference to FIGS.
In the embodiment variant shown in FIGS. 13 to 15, stop rollers 50 are used to attach stops instead of the strips. This stop roller 50 is. rotatably mounted on the one hand, its drive z. B. is effected by a motor via a worm 51 and a worm wheel 52, on the other hand, the stop roller 50 is limited by the use of springs 25 and spring sleeves 24 axially displaceable. The spring bushes 24 are used to limit the longitudinal displacement with respect to the bearing support the stop roller or fixed stops. The axle ends of the stop rollers 50 are provided with control surfaces 53, which together with the contacts 26, 27 and 28 of the pulse device ken.
The contact devices are actuated by longitudinal displacements of the stop rollers 50, the stop rollers 50 always returning to their rest position under the action of the springs 25.
The stop rollers 50 are parallel to the trajectories of the machine elements to be controlled, that is, in the dargestell th execution of the support 3 and the cross slide 5, and bear in cross-section expediently dovetail-shaped longitudinal grooves for the movable attachment of stops attached to the machine elements 15 and 19 cooperating stops 1.1 and 20. In an individual, these stops, shown on a larger scale in FIGS. 16 and 17, consist of clamping plates 59 which have a conical cross section corresponding to the dovetail grooves of the roller. Stop bodies 60 are fastened with screws 61 on these clamping plates 59.
The screws 61 the NEN at the same time for clamping the clamping plates 59 in the dovetail grooves. For heavier machines, the clamping plates are conveniently screwed directly to the stop rollers. The stops consist of stop screws 30 which are inserted into the stop body 60 and can be locked by means of nuts 31. The use of screws 30 as stops enables fine adjustment. A stop 62, indicated in FIG. 16 and attached to the machine element to be controlled, interacts with the stop screws 30, which when it comes into effect a longitudinal displacement of the stop roller 50 and thus actuation of the con tact devices 26, 27, 28 with the aid of the control surfaces B> 513 </B> causes.
With 58 contact pads are indicated which are fastened to the clamping plates 59 with screws and which cooperate with a switching pin 57 which is arranged in the stop 62. The contact pads 58 and the switching pin 57 are used to switch from rapid traverse to. Feed path in a manner explained in more detail below.
At the remote end of the shift drum face of the worm wheel 52 are, as can be seen from FIGS. 1-I and 15, in cross-section wedge-shaped grooves 56 are arranged, the number of which roller with the number of dovetail grooves or the number of stops on the stop 50 matches. With these wedge-shaped grooves 56, switching pins 54, 55 interact to control the drive motor of the roller in a manner explained in more detail below.
The stops shown in FIGS. 18 and 19 and arranged on the machine elements to be controlled each consist of two attachments: pieces which can be adjusted by screw spindles 64 on a carrier to be fastened to the machine element; H. longitudinally obliquely opposing guides 63 are ver slidable. This special design and arrangement of the attacks is used for fine adjustment, especially after replacing a tool, for. B. a rotary knife.
In the circuit diagram shown in Fig. 20, the contact spring pairs KschI, KschII, KschIII of the central control unit are drawn. The switching device KschI is used to control the switching relays Vsch, Esch to actuate the feed or rapid traverse, e.g. B. the support 3: The switching device KschII dielst to control the switching relay Sch, and Rp, z. B. to operate the drive motors for indexing the stop rollers 50. The switching device KschIII is used, for example, to control the drive motor for the feed, e.g. B. the cross slide 5 via the contactor switch SchI or SchII.
Specifically, the device described, equipped with impact rollers, has the following mode of operation: 1. Advancing the impact roller. The rotary movement of the stop roller 50 is initiated via the contact spring pair 1 of the switching device KschII, which is closed when the control parts of the central control unit are in the appropriate position. By closing the pair of contact springs KschII1, a circuit is established from earth E via the contact device U, 1, a break contact rp2 of the relay Rp and via the relay Schp to the battery.
As a result, the relay Schp switches on the motor of the relevant switching drum (motor connections are not shown in the diagram), whereby the switching of the stop roller 50 via the worm drive 51, 52 is initiated. Due to the rotation of the worm wheel 52, the narrower switching pin 55 first falls into one of the switching grooves 56 on the worm wheel, whereby the contact spring pair of the contact device Hp is closed. When the relay Schp responded, the contact schp1 was closed, so that the relay <I> Sch, </I> is connected to earth via the contact device H and is independent of the switching device U; remains closed.
By continuing to rotate the worm wheel 52, the wider switching pin 54 falls into the switching groove 56 -ein, whereby the contact device U, switched from the contact position 1 to the contact position 2 and thus the relay R is made to respond. In this way, the normally closed contact rp2 is opened and thus the supply to the relay Sch is interrupted by the switching device KschII via the contact device Up. The response of the relay R also causes the contact r, l to close, which enables a direct current flow from E via Ksch IIl-rpl-Rp to the battery, so that the contact device Up has no influence on the further function.
The caused by the further rotation of the worm wheel 52 stepping out of the switching pin 54 from the switching groove 56 and the due switching of the Kontaktein direction U, in the contact position 1 is thus without affecting the function of the relay Rp.
The drive motor of the switching drum is only stopped when the switching pin 55 exits the switching groove 56, whereby the contact device Hp is opened and the relay Schp is de-energized.
The indexing of the stop roller 50 can take place both as part of a work process and as an independent work process. If the forwarding is only part of a work process, all other Ma machine element movements must remain blocked until the forwarding is finished, and no pulse may be sent to the central control unit after this movement has ended.
This is achieved in that the contacts 1 and 4 of the switching device Ksch III of the central control unit are kept open by setting the associated switch buttons 78 accordingly, so that a current flow to the switching relay Rd and via the contact rp3 closed by the relay Rp indirectly to relay D (see below), which act a pulse output, is not possible.
However, if the indexing of the stop roller 50 is an independent work process, a pulse must be sent to the central control unit after the indexing has ended in order to index it. This is done in that when the relay Rp responds, the contact rp3 is closed and the contacts 1 and d of the switching device KschIII are closed as a result of the corresponding setting of the switch buttons 78 through the switching drum of the central control unit. As a result, a current flow is established from earth via the contact rP3, the contacts KschIII1, KschIII4, via the normally closed contact, ie via the relay Rd to the battery.
The response of the relay Rd causes a closure of the contact rd and a switching on of the relay D, which contains the Drehein direction of the central control device, so that the central control device is switched by one step via this. When the central control unit is switched on, the contact KschII1 is opened so that the relay Rp is de-energized and its contacts return to the rest position. Since the control device is ready to start the control game recently.
In order to be able to switch the stop rollers 50, especially when setting the machine, as long as the fully automatic control is still switched off, an electrical button Tp is provided, which is connected to earth in parallel with the contact KschII1 and the same functions when it is actuated triggers like the switching device KschII.
2. Blocking of the machine element movements during <I> the </I> advancement <I> of the stop </I> <I> rollers. </I>
In order to be able to block all machine element movements while a stop roller 50 is switched on, the relay SchP controlling the motor of the stop roller has a normally closed contact schp2. This rest contact schp2 is open during the movement of the stop roller 50, since the relay SchP is energized during this time, where the contactor switch SchI or SchII connected to earth via the normally closed contact also remain de-energized.
This contactor switch Schi and Schi, can only be switched on via the Schalteinrich device KschIII, via their contacts 2 or 3 (depending on the desired direction of rotation of the drive motor for moving the machine element concerned) when the relay Schp is de-energized and the Normally closed contact schp2 is closed, that is, only when the stop roller 50 is stationary. In the same way, the switching devices for any other machine element movements can be kept currentless during the indexing of the stop rollers 50.
3. Automatic switchover from rapid traverse to forward feed.
In order to increase the dimensional accuracy of the parts produced, all moving machine elements reach the stops arranged on the stop rollers at the same speed, whereby a corresponding pulse is given. The feed rate is taken as the basic speed for this. In order to bridge larger idle distances (e.g. support or cross slide resetting on the lathe, table resetting on a milling machine, etc.), it is advantageous to use an idle speed in the form of a rapid traverse that is a multiple of the feed rate. speed is.
In order to prevent the machine elements from touching the stops at this high speed, an automatic switchover from rapid traverse to feed speed is provided.
When the contact pair 1 is closed, the switching device of the central control unit switches on the switching relay T '"} for the feed rate to the battery, while when the contact pair 2 of the switching relay Esch is closed for the rapid traverse to the battery. Mockery of the normally closed contact schp2, so that, as described above, the switching relays Vsch and Esch remain de-energized during the further switching of the stop roller 50. The switching relay Esch is via the contact device Eu, which is in the contact position 2 in the rest position , to the switching device KschI2 and connected to earth via the normally closed contact schp2.
The contact device E ″ has a switching pin 57 which, according to FIG. 16, is arranged in the stop 62 mounted on one of the machine elements. Before the stop 62 runs against the stop screw 30 of the stop attached to the stop roller during the rapid return of the machine .- scIlinenelementes, the switching pin 57 is moved by a correspondingly dimensioned contact pad 58, which is attached with the appropriate distance with the stop screw 30 on the clamping plate 59, whereby the contact device E "is brought into the contact position 1.
In this way, the rapid traverse is switched off at a given point in time and the feed rate is switched on via (read relay V "1, so that the stop 62 only moves against the stop screw 30 on the stop roller 50 at the feed speed. The relays Vsch, Esch can be parts of electromagnetic couplings 4.
Switching the machine to various <I> different </I> functions. In the circuit diagram according to FIG. 20, the earth connections E with the Roman numerals I and II are designated differently to indicate that the earth connections do not always represent the same terminal connections, although the electrical potential with respect to earth is always the same.
This subdivision of the ground connections enables these terminal connections to be connected to a step switch in the manner shown in the circuitry in FIG. 21 for the purpose of switching the machine to different points. In the case of the control device described on a Spit zendrehbank, the switching stage 0 of the switch corresponds to the switched off machine.
In switching stage I, the three three-phase phases R, S, T are switched through and the machine can be used as a normal center lathe. In switching stage II, the impulse devices with the corresponding control lamps, as well as the various manual buttons (all on E I) are switched on, but all connections to the automatic system are switched off. In this way, the stops can be set precisely. The easy and quick setting of the automatic is one of the main advantages of the described device.
After completing the setting of the machine's work flow, it is switched to level III, which means that the fully automatic system is ready for operation.
