Description
Einlage-Schranbstoekbaeke.
Inlay cupboard rack. The present invention relates to an insert screw jaw, as it is in known form to protect a clamped workpiece against the influence of the usual hardened steel fixed jaws of the very dust in pairs between these and the workpiece. Such jaws are commercially available cast from aluminum, lead, copper and the like.
The inlay-Sehraubstockbaeke according to the present invention consists of a metal carrier and a covering made of non-metallic, flexible material, attached to this on the use side.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject invention.
Fig. 1 shows a cross section along the line 1-1- in Pig. 2 and the latter is a top view of the cheek.
1 with the metal carrier shaped in a known manner and with 2 the covering made of non-metallic, resilient material attached to this on the usage side.
Because of its elasticity, rubber is particularly suitable as a material for the covering (both natural and synthetic rubber). But there can also be certain plastics such. B. ther thermoplastic substances are used.
The covering can be glued to the metal support and, in order to ensure a secure connection, also be tapped with the same ver, as is indicated in the example shown at the points indicated by 3. In another version, the covering is with. Advantageously, it is pressed warmly onto the metal carrier, when rubber is used in particular vulcanized onto it.
With regard to the nature of the. the workpiece coming into contact with the side of the covering, depending on the application, there are various possible designs. For example, the jaw drawn has a horizontal and four different deep vertical grooves 4 and 5, which, among other things, facilitate the clamping of round work pieces.
In addition to saving expensive metal, which can be increased by the recess indicated by dashed dots in FIG Rubber and the like. It has also been shown that the workpiece clamped between such jaws is held more securely against the action of an external force than when jaws made exclusively of metal are used.
