  Verfahren zur     Haltbarmaebung        mentholisierten    Tabaks.         Mentholisierter    Tabak oder     Mentholziga-          retten    verlieren mit der Zeit an Menthol  gehalt. Man hat diesem Übelstand dadurch zu  begegnen versucht, dass man     als    Verpackung  Blechdosen verwandte. Für den Export in  heisse Länder hat     man,die    als Verpackung be  nutzten Blechdosen verlötet. Es hat sich nun  gezeigt, dass der Tabak seinen     Mentholgehalt     beim Lagern länger behält, wenn man bei der       Mentholisierung        Aluminiumsilikat    verwendet.

    Es genügt, auf das verwendete Menthol be  rechnet,     1/21/o        Aluminiumsilikat.    Man kann  das Aluminiumsilikat getrennt auf den Ta  bak zerstäuben, oder man kann es vorher mit  dem Menthol mischen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Haltbarmachung mentholi- sierten Tabaks, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei der Mentholisierung Ahtminiumsilikat ver wendet wird. UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, da- dureh gekennzeichnet, dass man Aluminium silikat und Menthol getrennt auf den Tabak aufbringt. 2. PATENT CLAIM: Process for preserving mentholized tobacco, characterized in that ammonium silicate is used for mentholization. SUBClaims: 1.
