Fig. ? ist ein Schnitt nach Linie 1I-II in Fig.1. Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt nach Linie III-III in Fig. 1.
Fig. 4 zeigt perspektivisch einen Teil eines Förderbandes.
Roasting facility. The present invention relates to a roasting device such as can be used for roasting a variety of products, such as coffee, cocoa, peanuts, hazelnuts, barley, etc.
1) I have so far been known @@ n Roasting pipes mostly have a drum or hollow ball, and the product was either heated by heating the drum and heat transfer to the product or by heating the product directly with hot air.
The work flow took place in a stepwise manner, that is, the roasting was done with a certain amount. of the product to be roasted, this roasted is then removed from the device and cooled, possibly under the action of a cold air stream.
The roasting device according to the present invention is. marked. by an infrared heat radiation source for heating the product to be roasted and by at least one conveyor belt which, in addition to the progressive movement, is given a vibration and which continuously guides the product past the heat radiation source.
An exemplary embodiment of a roasting device according to the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, in which FIG. 1 shows the device line in a longitudinal section.
Fig.? is a section along line 1I-II in Fig.1. FIG. 3 is a section along line III-III in FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 shows in perspective part of a conveyor belt.
The roasting device has a housing 1 in which a filling line is provided at the top for the product to be roasted, from which it is automatically fed to a conveyor belt 4 via a vibrating chute 3 and in controllable dosage. The conveyor belt is conveniently made of wire mesh or perforated, flexible sheet metal and runs over drums 5 and 6 in the direction of the arrow, the conveyor belt besides this progressing movement is given a vibration, which is indicated schematically by an eccentric 7. becomes.
There can be provided along the conveyor belt a number of bolts which are moved up and down by eccentrics and which give the conveyor belt such a vibration that the conveyed product is kept constantly bouncing. Above half the conveyor belt 4 is the infrared source of thermal radiation, which has a number of infrared lamps 9 which are expediently mounted on a frame 8. The frame 8 is expediently mounted in the housing 1, for. B. on adjustable handlebars 10 that he pushed horizontally ver in its longitudinal direction and inclined to the tape or can be changed in its distance from the tape.
Appropriately, the frame 8 is inclined in such a way that at the beginning of the roasting, that is at the end of the feed of the product, the distance between the infrared lamps and conveyor belt is smallest and so the action of the heat is greatest, while the roasting to be taken The heat demand decreases and the lamps are further away from the conveyor belt. In the advanced roasting stage, individual lamps or groups of lamps can be regulated or switched off by connecting in parallel or in series and combining individual groups of lamps on a common holder.
The speed of the conveyor belt is expediently regulated in such a way that the roasting process is completed as the product passes the infrared lamps once. Due to the vibration movement that your product. is issued, the same is exposed to the radiant heat evenly and prevents burning on the tape.
In order to extract the vapors, gases and waste produced during roasting, a suction line 11 with guide plates 12 is provided below the conveyor belt 4, which is connected to a fan 7.3 which is inserted into a separator 14 for separating the waste products such as dust u. a., promotes. The cleaned exhaust air escapes through the pipe 35. From the roasting room 1.5, which is separated from the cooling chamber 17 by a partition 16, the roasted product dropped by the conveyor belt 4 at the drum 6 passes via a guide surface 18 to a drums 19 and 20 in the opposite direction to the conveyor belt 4 running conveyor belt 21 on which the cooling of the roasted product takes place.
In order to obtain good cooling, the conveyor belt 14 also gives the product a vibration movement, and air is sucked in by a fan 22 via tubes 23 and guide surfaces 24 from below through the conveyor belt 21 and the roasted product located on it Blown product. The cooled product is brought into a container 25 from the conveyor belt 21 at the drum 20. Lateral viewing openings 36, as indicated in FIG. 2, can be provided in order to control the roasting process.
As shown in Fig. 4, the conveyor belts can be provided with transverse ribs 26 to forcibly advance the product.
There can also be a plurality of conveyor belts arranged one above the other in both the roasting room and the cooling room, depending on the desired performance of the device.
The upper part of the housing is expediently covered with reflective foil in order to fully utilize the radiant heat. The guide plates 12 can also be reflective.
