Coupling for pipes and hoses. Couplings for pipe and hose lines are known in which an elastic sleeve protruding freely into the socket space is tightly clamped along one edge of a socket forming a part of the coupling part to which the one line strand is to be connected, which closes the connecting pipe, which forms the other coupling part and to which the other cable run is to be connected, sealingly when inserted.
The invention relates to a further embodiment of couplings of this type and consists in that a centering bushing is clamped together with the cuff, which centers the cuff in the sleeve and guides the connecting pipe centrically to the cuff during coupling and uncoupling. The cuff can then be a simple cylindrical tube piece. This gives the possibility to equip such couplings with particularly simple, mechanical African Sieherungsvorrichtungen against unwanted decoupling, which are reliably and fully automatically effective when coupling in any relative angular position of the two coupling parts.
The drawing shows several exemplary embodiments of the coupling according to the invention: FIG. 1 shows one coupling part of a first embodiment of the coupling for pressure lines in axial section.
Fig. 2 illustrates this connection pipe of this coupling in longitudinal section. Fig. 3 shows the top view of the safety bracket of this coupling.
4 shows, in an axial section through the coupling, a second embodiment of the coupling which has a mechanical reference device.
Fig. 5 shows the litter in this example only in a side view and Fig. 6 in a plan view.
FIG. 7 shows the slide of this example in plan view, FIG. 8 in section along the line from FIG. 7 and FIG. B > 9 the underside of the slide. Fig. 10 explains its manufacture.
FIG. 11 shows a third embodiment of the coupling, which has a mechanical locating device, in an axial section along the line c- (1 in FIG. 12, FIG. 12 in side view.
FIG. 13 shows the slide in a plan view and FIG. 14 shows a section along the line a-b of FIG. 13.
In FIG. 1, A designates the coupling mulie connected to the hose line 1 , which forms part of the one coupling part. This consists of your short connection piece 2, which is permanently connected to the hose line and which is provided with an external thread 3 at the upper, flange-like extended end and is conically tapered off inwards at 4.
With 5 an elastic tube piece, which forms the cuff and is fitted into the connecting piece, is designated, the upper edge of which 6 is against the conical recess 4 of the connecting piece 2 by a union nut B> 7 ver is pressed on by means of a bushing 8 which engages in the external thread 3 of the connecting piece 2.
If the union nut 7 is tightened, it presses the bushing 8 downwards, so that the upper edge 6 of the hose leaning piece 5 is clamped between the conically bevelled edge k of the bushing 8 and the conically bevelled mouth of the sleeve A .
The sleeve 8 supports the hose piece 5 along its outer jacket and centers its position in the sleeve A. At the same time, the sleeve guides during coupling and uncoupling the connecting pipe 20 (FIG. 2) which forms the other coupling part and to which the other line part is to be connected, centered against the lower exposed part of the cuff 5, so that tears and injuries to the cuff are inevitably avoided stay.
With 9, 10 (Fig. 3) , the resilient legs of a securing bracket are designated, which are bent concentrically to the socket aclise in part in circular arcs and into the through hole 24 of the union bring mother in.
The legs crossed like a selenium form an eye 11 at one end for fastening the bracket to the top of the nut 7, z. B. by means of a screw 12. At the other end handles 13, 14 are provided on the bow legs, by actuating them under tension of a compression spring 15 the legs 9, 10 of the locating bow in the direction of the arrows (Fig. 3) around the joint G .
The line 21 to be coupled with the line 1 is attached to the connection pipe 20, which is provided with a flange 22 which is sawn off conically on the underside at 23. The outside diameter D of the tube 20 is dimensioned somewhat larger than the inside diameter d of the exposed part of the cuff 5.
If the lines 1 and 21 are to be coupled, the tube 20 is passed through the opening 24 of the nut 7 and through the drill ring of the bushing 8 </ B > into the exposed end of the hose section 5 , which expands and encloses the tube 20 in a good sealing manner. The tube 20 is inserted so far that the legs 9 and 10 of the locking device into the groove e, between the end of the tube and the flange 22 snap into place.
When the connecting pipe is plugged into the socket, the annular cut-off 23 of the flange 22 meets the legs 9, 1.0 of the safety bracket and brings them in the direction of the arrows in FIG > 3 around the joint G to spring apart, while the handles 13 # 14 approach the pressure leather 15 lying between them under tension. As soon as the flange 22 has passed the spread th legs 9, 10 , these snap into the groove e while the spring 15 is released.
As a result, the coupling between the Schläuelien 1 and 21 is sealed and mechanically secured at the same time. To release the KuppILLug, the handles 13, 14 are to be pressed together, as a result of which the tube 20 is released for pulling out of the socket from the resilient bow legs 9, .
In the embodiment of the coupling according to FIGS. 4 to 10, 60 denotes the coupling socket connected to the cable harness 61 , the one at the upper end with the outside thread and is tapered at 62 . With 63 a cylindrical tube piece is designated, which is pulled onto the downwardly tapered jacket of the centering sleeve 64 and with its lower part 65 protrudes over the jacket of the sleeve 64 .
The centering sleeve has a flange 66 which, when the sleeve is inserted into the socket (Fig. 4), protrudes slightly over the upper edge of the socket 60 and is so dimensioned is that it can enter the recess 67 on the bottom of the union nut 68 when it is tightened.
This ensures that the bushing 64 is seated perfectly in the center of the socket 60 . The bushing in turn centers the hose section 63. The bore 70 of the bushing, which is adapted to the outside diameter of the connecting pipe 71 with little play, ensures a centric guidance of the connection pipe when coupling and uncoupling.
The cylindrical Selilauehstüek 63 forming the cuff can be fixed to the outer jacket of the centering sleeve, e.g. by vulcanizing to form an easily exchangeable unit.
The locking slide 75 is provided for mechanical securing of the coupling, which is slidably mounted in a transverse slot 76 of the nut 68 and with it The sawn-off, silver-shaped locking edge 77 protrudes into the coupling path of the connecting pipe (Fig. 4).
The slide plate 75 has at its end a tab 80 bent at a right angle, while the other end at 81 is rounded towards the outer surface of the nut . The slot 76 of the union nut merges into a rectangular recess 82 in the angularly designed extension 83 of the nut, in which the slide tab 80 < / B> can slide. Its movement is limited by the pin 84 riveted into the nut and penetrating a short slot 85 in the slide plate.
The gate valve is punched from sheet metal according to FIG. 10 together with the tab 20 and two small attachments 90 , and in the same operation the tab 80 is made with it the wings 90 bent at right angles and then the two wings 90 bent inwards in the direction of the two arrows, so that noses 91 are formed on both sides of the slide tab . The ends of the spring element 92 , which can be designed either as a curved leaf spring or as a curved, elastic rubber strip, rest against these lugs.
When the gate valve is installed, the curved spring 92 rests against the inner boundary surface 93 of the slot 82, while the slide tab 80 according to FIG. 4 is somewhat protrudes beyond the outer surface of the extension 83 .
When assembling the coupling part containing the socket, the union nut 68 must also be screwed onto the socket 60 . The flange 66 of the bushing enters the recess 67 at the bottom of the nut 68 ; When the nut is tightened, the bushing is pressed upwards (referring to FIG. 4) so that it C n kn over its conical shaped ' jacket E </ B> presses on the edge of the visual tube 63 to be held.
This ensures a centric seat of the bushing 64, which in turn (with its outer jacket) centers the hose 63 and guides the connecting pipe 71 centrically with its bore.
When coupling, the connecting pipe is inserted, the outside diameter of which D is dimensioned so that it widens the exposed part 65 of the hose. As soon as the sawed-off edge 96 of the connecting pipe hits the lzonische locking edge 77 of the sieve 75 , the slide moves in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 4 ) out.
The bow spring 92 clamped in the slide valve is flattened and tensioned until the slide, releasing the bow spring, into the groove 97 of the connecting pipe 7t </ B > snaps. This creates a hydraulically tight coupling of the two lines, which is also mechanically secured by the sight glass.
By pressing on the slide tab 80 , the slide can be moved under tension on the bottom, bottom 92 so far that its locking edge 77 comes out of the Groove 97 occurs. The connection pipe 71 can now be pulled out. After the pressure has ceased, the slide then snaps back into its starting position while the bow spring is relaxed.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 to 14, the slide 75 is designed in a ring shape and with its. flattened edges 100 in the slot 76 of the union nut 68 . The locking member is a resilient band 101-, z. B. made of rubber, which is clamped in a groove 102 in the outer casing of the nut and encloses the ring slide along its circular arc-shaped parts 1.03 and 104.
Diametrically opposite the sawn-off locking edge 77 , the slide has a bead-like projection 105 (FIG. 13) that into the recess 106 protrudes in the coat of the mother 68 and is expressed as a push button 107 by the locally stronger # 1, -ölb-Ling of the rubber ring.
When inserting the connecting pipe, the gate valve 75 first gives way under elastic deformation of the rubber band 101 and then - while the rubber band is relaxed, snaps into the Groove 97 in the connection pipe 71 . To decouple the connection pipe, unlock it by pressing the button 107 and then pull it out, whereupon the slide springs back into its original position after the pressure has stopped.
The bead 105 on the slide can be omitted if the point at which the rubber band has to be pressed during uncoupling is indicated by a mark, e.g. B. by a groove 108 (Fig. 12) on the outer shell of the nut is identified. If the arched part 104 of the slide is already in the resting state against the rubber band over its entire length, a considerable resistance has to be overcome at the beginning of the slide movement.
