Mehrstufen-Axialkompressor.
Multi-stage axial compressor. The invention relates to multi-stage axial compressors such as those used in combustion turbine power plants.
The purpose of the invention is to create a multi-stage axial compressor in which, for ease of operation,; the same is taken care of.
According to the invention, the multi-stage axial compressor has a movable stator blade that is coaxial with the rotor blade and optionally actuatable means to hold the movable stator blade from rotating or to let it rotate in the same direction as the rotor blade at a reduced speed.
In addition to the movable stator blades, the multi-stage axial compressor can also include a fixed stator blade, the fixed and movable stator blades advantageously being mutually arranged in such a way that the flow takes place first over the movable stator blades and then over the fixed stator blades.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
Figure 1 is an axial section through one half of the axial compressor and Figure 2 is a schematic illustration of an electrical control for the same.
The compressor shown in Fig. 1 has a stator housing 3, which forms part of the fixed structure of an entire power plant. With the housing 3 are connected by radial Rip pen 5, 9 end walls 4, 8, in wel Chen by bearings 12 and 11, a rotatable shaft 10 is supported, on which a number of rotor disks 13, 14 is keyed, with wreaths of rotor blades 17, 15 are occupied. The latter cooperate with rings of stator blades 16, 18.
The stator blades 16 at the left end of the compressor in the drawing are attached to the inside of the housing 3, while the remaining stator blades 18 are attached to the inside of a sleeve 19 coaxial to the housing, which is housed in the housing 3, which is used to take on this sleeve is recessed and which is not connected to this sleeve before.
The inner ends of the blades 18 of the two rings at the ends of the sleeve 19 are also attached to the periphery of a pair of Rä countries 20 which are rotatably supported by ball bearings 21 on the shaft 10.
Between the wheels 20 are the rotor disks 13 with their blades 17, so that the compressor actually consists of two multi-stage parts, namely a sol chen with a fixed stator part, whose blades 16 interact with the rotor blades 15, and one with one rotatable stator part, the blades 18 with. the rotor blades 17 cooperate.
The last-mentioned part of the unde on the right in the drawing forms the low-pressure part, and the first-mentioned part is the high-pressure part, in which the flow is from right to left through an annular duct, which on the outside through the housing 3 and the sleeve 19 and on the inside through the peripheral surfaces of the end walls 4, 8 of the discs 13, 14 and the wheels 20 is formed. The inlet and outlet vanes are formed by ribs 5 and 9, respectively, and the inlet is at 6.
The wheel 20 at the inlet end is connected to the shaft 10 via a planetary gear and a clutch 33. The transmission has spur planetary gears 27 which are carried by pins 28 which are fastened to the edge 20 BE, which thereby forms the planetary gear carrier. Furthermore, the transmission has a stationary ring provided with internal spur teeth 29 which is fastened to the end wall 4.
In addition, the transmission has a spur sun gear 25, which is formed by a sleeve 24 which is rotatably supported by bearings 23 on the shaft 10 and has a flange which carries a brake drum 26, on which brake shoes 31 can act, which are operated by a brake 30 which is attached to the end wall 4 are actuated.
The coupling 33 allows one with. Flanged sleeve 32 attached to sleeve 24 with an annular body 34 connected to shaft 10 by a key 35 to be able to couple.
Neither the brake 30 nor the clutch 33 are shown in detail as they may be of a known type. They are operated by solenoids or other electrical switching means, the leads 37, 38 and 39, 40 of which lead to terminals 41, 42 and 43, 44 ge.
As shown schematically in Fig. 2, the lines 45, 47, which are connected to the terminals 41 and 43, respectively, by means of a two-pole switch, the arms 49, 50 of which are mechanically connected to one another by an insulating rail 51, can Contact parts 52, 53 are connected, which are connected to a main line 54, while the other main line 55 is connected by conductors 46, 48 to the terminals 42, 44.
The clutch and brake actuation solenoids are thus connected in parallel to the main lines by the two switching arms 49, 50 and are both energized when the switch is closed and vice versa. The brake and clutch actuation solenoids are arranged so that when both are energized the clutch is on and the brake is released while the brake is on and the clutch is released when the switch is open.
For the sake of simplicity, a simple switch is shown; but in practice a relay switch (operated by solenoid) will be more advantageous, as will be explained in more detail below.
It can be seen that when the brake 30 acts and the clutch 33 is released, the planet gears 27 are held. This makes the moving ones the blades. 18 carrying stator sleeve 19 is held firmly on the housing 3 so that the entire compressor acts as a simple multi-stage compressor in which all stator blades are fixed and all rotor blades rotate at the same speed.
If, on the other hand, the brake 30 is released and the clutch 33 is engaged, the planetary gear comes into effect and causes the movable stator sleeve 19 to move in the same direction as the shaft 10 and the rotor disks 13, 14 of the compressor, but at a reduced speed rotates so that the speed of rotation of the rotor disks to the corresponding stator part on your right (low pressure)
Compressor section is smaller than on the left (high pressure) compressor section.
If an electric or other starter motor, which is coupled to the main shaft 10, is used for starting purposes, the required starting force is considerably reduced in that the low-pressure part operates at a reduced relative speed.
But it is not only reduced the starting force, but also the actual performance of the compressor when starting considerably improved, because the reduced relative circumferential speed of the rotor and stator blades of the low-pressure compressor part avoids overdevelopment of the blades to a large extent; At least the blades of the low-pressure part are brought out of their coated state at a very much earlier point in time of the increase in the rotational speed of the main shaft.
When the speed of the shaft 10 (and the rotor disks arranged on it) has increased sufficiently for the turbine unit to which the compressor is connected to take effect and to drive the compressor from the starter motor, the latter must be powered by the The starter motor solves and the movable stator part can be brought to stop by the clutch 33 being released and the brake 30 applied.
It is therefore advantageous if the control elements of the clutch and the brake are combined with those of the starter motor. If the starter motor, the power of which is transmitted to the skins via a self-releasing or slipping clutch, is provided with a relay gearbox, the clutch 33 and the brake 30 can also be operated via its switching relay. The formation of such a relay gearbox is of known type.
The described compressor clearly differs from those fans in which one or more rings of guide vanes are provided to regulate the output, each of which is fastened to a ring, the ring or rings being mounted in the housing and designed so that they are coupled with this for full performance. or can run freely for reduced performance.
