Kupplung für Anhänger von Motor- und Fahrrädern.
EMI0001.0001
<SEP> Andere <SEP> bekannte
<tb> Kupplungsarten, <SEP> wie <SEP> z. <SEP> B.
<tb> Aialiiiiager <SEP> befestigtes <SEP> Kupplungsstück <SEP> in
<tb> bewegliche <SEP> Anhängerdeichsel <SEP> gelenkig <SEP> ange ordnet.
EMI0001.0003

Coupling for trailers of motorcycles and bicycles.
EMI0001.0001
The <SEP> invention <SEP> relates to a <SEP> coupling
<tb> for <SEP> trailers <SEP> of <SEP> motor- <SEP> and <SEP> bicycles.
<tb> The <SEP> to <SEP> today <SEP> known <SEP> <SEP> trailer couplings <SEP> for <SEP> bicycles <SEP> and <SEP> motorcycles
<tb> w @, isen <SEP> in <SEP> of the <SEP> rule <SEP> a <SEP> ball joint <SEP>.
<tb> Dic, <SEP> has <SEP> as a <SEP> sequence, <SEP> that <SEP> the <SEP> tag <SEP> as
<tb> zcceirä <SEP> three <SEP> vehicles <SEP> are trained <SEP>
<tb> with # zsen, <SEP> because <SEP> a <SEP> ball joint <SEP> can be <SEP> freely <SEP> rotatable after <SEP> all <SEP> connections <SEP>. <SEP> Other <SEP> known
<tb> Coupling types, <SEP> like <SEP> e.g. <SEP> B.
<SEP> the <SEP> simple <SEP> hook coupling <SEP> have <SEP> for the purpose of <SEP> unhindered
<tb> Engaging <SEP> and <SEP> disengaging, <SEP> pretty much <SEP> a lot of <SEP> play
<tb> on, <SEP> in such a way <SEP> that <SEP> and <SEP> also <SEP> no <SEP> since <SEP> tilting moments <SEP> are recorded <SEP>
<tb> can. <SEP> For <SEP> reasons <SEP> the <SEP> simpler <SEP> and
<tb> cheaper <SEP> construction <SEP> and <SEP> because <SEP> they <SEP> themselves
<tb> for <SEP> vehicles, <SEP> their <SEP> wheels <SEP> in <SEP> of a <SEP> track

<tb> Aatt <SEP> two-wheeled <SEP> trailer <SEP> very <SEP> desirable.
EMI0001.0002
The <SEP> invention <SEP> bypasses <SEP> this <SEP> defect <SEP> .der
<tb> U-knew <SEP> couplings <SEP> because <SEP> that <SEP> a <SEP> on

<tb> movable <SEP> trailer drawbar <SEP> articulated <SEP> arranged.
EMI0001.0003
In <SEP> of the <SEP> drawing <SEP>, <SEP> is schematically <SEP> one
<tb> for example <SEP> embodiment <SEP> of <SEP> Erfin @lun @ -; @ sgcgenstandes <SEP> shown. 1 shows a unicycle trailer for bicycles, FIG. 2 shows an enlarged section from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of a coupling, FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 shows a section to Fig. 4.
In Fig. 1, 1 means the rear part of a bicycle frame,? .the bicycle saddle, 3 the rear wheel with. Mudguard 4 and 5 a rear strut. With 6 a conventional luggage rack is also referred to. On the Fahrradrah men 1, a coupling 7 is provided to which a unicycle trailer 8 can be coupled by means of a drawbar 9. The unicycle trailer 8 has on its rear side a support structure 10 made of profile iron, which is used to attach a wheel axle 11 for the trailer wheel 12. The latter is provided with a protective plate 13.
In the figure \? a detail of Fig. 1 is shown enlarged, the same Zugsziken Be as in Fig. 1 have come to the application, so that a special list is unnecessary. This figure shows the connection of the unicycle trailer with the bicycle. The construction of the clutch itself works. best from the following FIGS. 3 to 5. Fig. 3 shows a plan view of the coupling.
In accordance with the preceding figures, 1. again denotes a frame part of a bicycle, not shown further.
A bracket 14 engages around the saddle socket, as shown in FIG. The two bracket legs reach through bores 15 in a fastening plate 16 placed on the rear wheel struts 5 and are provided with a thread such that the fastening plate 16 can be pressed firmly onto the struts 5 by nuts 17. At the lower end of the mounting plate 16 two further bores are provided in the same.
A pressing piece 19 is tightened by screws 20 against the mounting plate 16, the rear struts 5 between the pressing piece 19 and the mounting plate 16 come to rest. It is easy to see that the mounting plate 16 can be firmly connected to the men bicycle frame in the manner described. Through the bracket 14, the stress caused by the clutch is transmitted directly to the bicycle frame, which. has the consequence that the rear struts 5 'are relieved.
Two coupling plates 21, 22 lying parallel to one another are now welded to the fastening plate 16 in such a way that they come to lie horizontally, leaving a gap of a little more than the thickness of the plate. The lower coupling plate 21 has a reinforcing rib 23 welded to it and to the mounting plate 16 in the longitudinal direction.
The rear end of the two coupling plates is, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 3, rounded in a semicircle. Between these two coupling plates, a third coupling plate 24 is now inserted from behind with play, the front end of which is also rounded off, while its rear end is bent over in a tubular shape. This tubular piece serves as a bearing for the trailer drawbar 9 which is here bent into a bracket.
All three coupling plates have approximately in the middle a hole through which a coupling pin 25 can be inserted when the mutual position is correct. The latter is just out of the two clutch plates 21, 22, while the middle clutch plate 24 has a hole with play. One in a on the coupling plate 22 welded sleeve 26 unterge brought spring 27 presses with one end against a collar 28 of the coupling pin 25, while her other.
End. is supported against a cover 29 screwed onto the sleeve 26. The latter is pierced so that the coupling bolt 25, which is extended upwards, protrudes from the cover. The upper end of the coupling bolt 25 has a transverse bore through which a ring 30 engages.
The mode of operation of the coupling described is now as follows: The Einradanhä.nger 8 is gripped on the trailer drawbar 9 and brought up to the bicycle from behind. Then the coupling plate 24 is rotated so far upwards around the drawbar bracket until it comes to be almost parallel to the two coupling plates 21, 22. In this position it is inserted between the two coupling plates 21, 22. So that it can be fully inserted, the coupling pin 25 must be pulled against the pressure of the spring 27 on the ring 30 upwards.
The ring 30 is then released and the coupling plate 24 is moved slightly until the coupling bolt penetrates through the hole in the coupling plate 24, whereupon the coupling connection between the unicycle trailer and the bicycle is established. To Lö sen the clutch, it is sufficient to pull the coupling bolt 25 on the ring 30 upwards and separate the two vehicles.
The lower, particularly stiffened by the longitudinal rib 23 coupling plate 21 is used when using the coupling as a support plate, while the upper coupling plate 22 prevents tilting of the coupling plate 24 and thus the unicycle trailer.
So it is attached to the trailer hitch be plate 24, mounted in the releasably attached to the bicycle frame coupling receiving part 21, 22 that it is only in one
