In Anla gen, deren Behandlungsofen.
method for operating a plant for the heat treatment of lumpy goods and device for carrying out the method. The invention relates to a method for operating a system for heat treatment of lumpy goods, which is heated in a treatment furnace and brought back to a low temperature in a cooling device, and to a device for carrying out this method.
The method according to the invention consists in the fact that the heat generated in the cooling device is at least partially transferred to the combustion air of the treatment furnace by means of a gaseous heat carrier. The device according to the invention for carrying out the method is characterized by a treatment furnace and a cooling device which is in the circuit of a gaseous heat transfer medium with a heat used to heat combustion air for the treatment furnace.
The method according to the invention can be further developed in that part of the heat contained in the gaseous heat transfer medium is used before the combustion air is heated, for example to evaporate water or superheat steam. Some of the heat from the gaseous Wärmeträ gers can also be used to heat water after the combustion air has been heated.
Switching elements can be arranged in the circuit of the gaseous heat carrier and a bypass line can be provided, with the aid of which at least a partial amount of the heat carrier can be guided around at least part of the exchange surfaces of the heat exchanger. In addition to the heat exchanger used to heat the combustion air, a steam generator or a steam superheater or a water heater can also be arranged in the circuit of the heat transfer medium. For each of these additional heat absorbers, switching elements and a bypass line can be seen in front of which at least part of the heat transfer medium can be guided around at least part of the heat exchange surfaces.
An embodiment of the device for carrying out the method according to the invention is shown in simplified form on the drawing, on the basis of which the operating method is also explained, for example. In Fig. 1 the cooling device and the heat exchanger for heating the United combustion air is shown, while Fig. 2 shows the treatment furnace.
A stüekiges good, for example coked coal, heated in the retorts of the: B.ehan: dhtngsofens 2 is introduced into the cooling device 1 and cooled by a gaseous heat transfer medium, which is in circulation through the cooling device 1 and a heat build-up, - always 3 flows around. In this heat exchanger, air is heated, which is fed through the line 4 to the furnace of the treatment furnace 2.
The cooling device has a gas-tight container in which the glowing coke is filled through the filling device 5 and a gaseous heat transfer medium is fed through the line 6. The cooled coke can be removed from the container again through the removal device 7 and the heated heat transfer medium flows off through the line 8.
The heat exchanger 3 is connected upstream of a steam boiler 9 and a steam superheater 10 in the circuit of the gaseous heat carrier. In addition, a Warmwas serbereiter 11 is connected downstream of the heat exchanger 3. After it has been heated, the gaseous heat carrier first passes through line 8 into superheater 10, then through line 12 into steam boiler 9, then through line 13 into heat exchanger 3 and finally through line 14 into the water heater 11.
After a large part of its heat has been removed from the gaseous heat transfer medium in this way, it is fed through line 15 to blower 16 and reintroduced into cooling device 1 through line 6.
The combustion air for the treatment furnace 2 is sucked in from the atmosphere through a line 17 by means of the fan 18 and fed to the heat exchanger 3 through the line 19. After it has been heated, this air passes through the line 4 to the burner 20 of the treatment furnace 2 and through the line 21 to the secondary air inlets 22. After the retorts 23 have been heated, the combustion gases generated in the combustion chamber flow through the line 24 to Ver in which part of their residual heat is still used, and then outside.
The charcoal to be treated is introduced into the retort 23 through the openings 25 and, after the treatment, is removed from the retort through the openings 26, in order then to be immediately introduced into the cooling device 1 through the introduction device 5.
To regulate the heat output from the gaseous heat carrier to the various heat absorption points 3, 9 and 10 bypass lines 27, 28 and 29 are provided. The amounts of gas that the facilities concerned have to bypass can be adjusted according to the operating conditions by means of bypass members 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35. In the positions n of these adjusting elements shown in dashed lines, no gas at all can flow through the bypass lines 27, 28 and 29. In the positions b, however, the entire amount of gas flows through the bypass lines, so that the heating surfaces of the heat exchanger 3, the steam boiler 9 and the superheater 10 are no longer heated.
Any partial quantities for the flow through the heat exchanger can be set in the intermediate positions as required.
The steam generated in the steam generator 9 can be fed to the superheater 10 through the line 3, 6. In an overheated state, it arrives in a consumption network 37, from which at least a partial amount is fed through the line 38 to the drive machine 39 'of the fan 18.
Another part of the steam can be guided through line 40 in a non-overheated state to points of consumption (not shown).
Through the. Line 41 is supplied with cold water to the water heater 11, which, in a heated state, can be fed through line 42 to individual consumption points. Switching elements and a bypass line can also be provided on the hot waGser maker 11 in order to feed at least part of the Gaü-shaped heat carrier past the heat exchanger 11.
The bypass lines can also be arranged at each of the heat absorption points 3, 9, 10, 11 so that only part of the heating surface can be bypassed.
By using a considerable part of the heat resulting from the cooling of the lumpy goods, the heat economy of the overall situation can be improved insofar as a large part of the heat arising from the goods to be cooled can be used. In plants whose treatment furnace. Having devices for secondary air supply, an air heater for the secondary air can also be heated by means of the heat carrier heated in the cooling device.
The invention is particularly suitable for coal distillation systems, for example for coke production systems or for fuel gas production systems. But it can also be used, for example, for carbide production plants. Another area of application is, for example, systems in which small cast parts are produced in large quantities. The cast pieces are fed into the cooling device and the air heated by the gaseous heat transfer medium is used to heat the melting furnace. Of course, the invention can also be used, for example, for charcoal production and other similar fields.
