Pig mente in Betracht.
B. Schablonen druck, Spritzdruck oderouleaudruck, :an wenden.

Process for dyeing or printing flat structures. It is known that textiles can be printed with printing pastes that contain pigments on the one hand and agents that enable the pigment to be thermally fixed on the other. However, the process can fail on hydrophobic fabrics.
It has now been found that hydrophobic sheet-like structures made of such products that are soluble in organic solvents or. are swellable with organic solvents, colored with success with water-insoluble fibers respectively. can be printed. The new procedure stipulates that such solvents are added to the dye baths or printing pastes
who have a solvent or quenching capacity for the product in question.
In the present method, it also proves to be appropriate to bezw the dye bath. to add the printing paste products that have the property of giving solid solutions with the products from which the surface of the surfaces are formed. For this purpose, for example, products can be suitable which have a constitution similar to the product to be colored or printed. The products can e.g. B.
can be added to the dye bath or printing paste in the form of solutions.
When dyeing and printing according to the present process, the properties of the dyeings such. B. the adhesive strength, rubbing fastness, water fastness, still improved if the ge dyed or printed fabric is subjected to a heat treatment after application of the dye liquid or printing paste.
This eHitzeb @ ehandluug can take place at different temperatures and be of different lengths, with temperatures and heating times depending on the respective. The materials used can be selected accordingly.
As sheet-like structures which are suitable for dyeing and printing according to the present process, for example, plates or foils of various thicknesses are to be mentioned.
The sheet-like structures can be made from various materials, such as AcetydceHullose, rubber, acrylic or vinyl polymers, such as polyvinyl chloride, superpolyamides or Sup.erpalyureth®anes, and also from products that contain such products, such as. B. Kuustfeider or glass fabrics treated with Viny'1- polymers.
The most varied types of dyes can also be used for the present process; there are both organic and inorganic water-insoluble dyes respectively. Pig ments into consideration.
The present method can be used for various known Druckverfah ren mechanical type, such. B. stencil printing, spray printing or poule printing,: apply. Let it be. so that depending on the choice of dyes any, z. B. produce white, black or bright colors or prints. The dyeings and prints obtainable in this way are distinguished by their good fastness properties. So z.
B. the elasticity of the union prints obtained according to the present process largely correspond to the elasticity of the printed material, whereby the dropping of the prints under mechanical stress such as bending of plates or pulling and folding of foils can be largely prevented.
The following examples serve to illustrate the present invention. Since the parts mean parts by weight, the percentages percentages by weight, and the temperature are given in degrees Celsius.
Example r: A print paste with the following composition is produced:
EMI0002.0018
400 <SEP> parts <SEP> of a <SEP> alcoholic <SEP> solution, <SEP> consisting of <SEP> 200 <SEP> parts <SEP> polyvinyl acetate <SEP> and <SEP> 200 <SEP > Share <SEP> ethyl ajkohol
<tb> 145 <SEP> "<SEP> ethyl glycol
<tb> 150 <SEP> "<SEP> cyclohexanone
<tb> 150 <SEP> titanium dioxide
<tb> 150 <SEP> "<SEP> zinc oxide
<tb> <U> 5 </U> <SEP> "<SEP> tricresyl phosphate
<tb> 1000 <SEP> parts The printing paste is produced as follows:
The alcoholic solution of the polyvinyl acetate is diluted with the ethylglycol and the cyclohexanone and then slowly the pigments, ie. H. the titanium dioxide and the zinc oxide are added. Finally, the tricresyl phosphate, which serves as a plasticizer, is added. Finally, it is ground on the paint mill.
With the paste thus obtained, stencils on the blind printing machine or by means of film z. B. printed on a polyvinyl chloride film. A white print pattern is created on the film. After printing has taken place, it is applied in a drying cabinet or in an attic for 20-30 minutes at 80-90 ° C. to achieve good fastness properties.
Instead of the above printing paste, such a composition can also be used:
EMI0002.0052
<I> Example 2: </I> Instead of the printing paste mentioned in Example 1, one of the following two compositions is used:
EMI0002.0056
Blue prints are obtained with these pastes.
For the present process, protection is only claimed insofar as it does not involve a finishing treatment of textile fibers that is considered for the textile industry.
