Appareil pour la pêche à la traîne.
La présente invention a pour objet un appareil pour la pêche à la traîne, comportant un tambour monté fou, suivant son axe, sur un arbre porté par un socle, ce tambour étant utilisé pour enrouler et dérouler la ligne employée pour pêcher, caractérisé par le fait que ledit arbre porte, à l'intérieur du tambour, un signal acoustique destiné à être actionné lorsqu'un poisson est capturé, des moyens étant prévus pour assurer le fonc tionnement de ce signal lors d'une traction exercée sur la ligne par le poisson capturé et pour freiner le tambour sur son arbre.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem- ple, une forme d'exécution de l'appareil objet de l'invention.

L'appareil représenté est destiné à être fixé à un bateau pour la pêche à la traîne ; il comprend un tambour 1 autour duquel peut s'enrouler et se dérouler une ligne non représentée. Ce tambour 1 possède deux flasques 2 et 3 centrés sur un arbre 4 que porte un socle 5 ; ces flasques 2 et 3 sont reliés au moyen de barres parallèles 6 fixées près de la périphérie des flasques. A l'arbre 4 est fixée l'une des extrémités d'une bride 7, dont l'autre extrémité est munie d'un axe 8 ; à celui-ci est accrochée une tige plate 9 recourbée sur elle-même et dont les extrémités sont fixées à une sonnette 10 ; entre les deux parties recourbées de la tige 9 est logée l'une des extrémités d'une tringle 11 dont l'autre extrémité est serrée dans une pièce élastique 12 fixée à l'arbre 4.
Le battant de la sonnette 10 est adapté à son axe de façon à ne pouvoir osciller que dans le sens de la rotation du tambour 1, c'est-à-d'ire de façon à être insensible au balancement latéral du bateau de l'usager.
Au travers du flasque 2 est adapté un poussoir 13 dont la tige 14 est destinée à venir en contact avec l'une des extrémités de la pièce 12 lorsqu'il s'agit d'agiter la sonnette 10. Afin d'immobiliser le poussoir 13, la tige 14 de celui-ci est munie d'une gorge 15 dans laquelle est constamment pressée l'une des extrémités d'un tenon 16 logé dans un écrou 17 fixé au flasque 2 ; à cet effet, ce tenon est soumis à l'action d'un ressort 18 dont l'une des extrémités prend appui contre une garniture 19 ménagée à la périphérie du flasque 2.
Chaque flasque 2 et 3 comporte, à sa périphérie, une gorge dans laquelle est logée une garniture annulaire 19 de protection en cuir.
A la face extérieure du flasque 2 est fixée concentriquement à l'arbre 4 une plaque 20 en matière plastique ; une contreplaque métallique 21, susceptible d'être pressée contre la plaque 20 sous l'effet d'un écrou 22 se vissant sur l'arbre 4, est placée entre la plaque 20 et l'écrou 22.
Chacun des flasques 2 et 3 comporte à sa périphérie une gorge 23 dans laquelle est logée la garniture 19 correspondante, la paroi de cette gorge faisant office de nervure.
Une des extrémités d'une ligne, non représentée, étant fixée au tambour 1 et son autre extrémité munie d'une amorce et d'un hame çon étant immergée à la profondeur désirée. l'appareil représenté fonctionne comme suit :
Le poussoir 13 est déplacé de façon que sa tige 14 vienne buter contre l'extrémité opposée à la tringle 11 de la pièce 12 ; de ce fait, le tambour 1 est immobilisé, le bateau portant l'appareil est actionné et se déplace en entraînant la ligne susmentionnée ; dés qu'un poisson est pris à l'hameçon, il opère une traction qui fait osciller le tambour 1 dont le poussoir 13 actionne la pièce 12 et, par conséquent, la sonnette 10.
L'éerou 22 permet de serrer la contreplaque 21 contre la plaque 20 et d'immobiliser le tambour 1 sur son arbre 4.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for trolling, comprising a drum mounted idle, along its axis, on a shaft carried by a base, this drum being used to wind and unwind the line used for fishing, characterized by the causes said shaft to carry, inside the drum, an acoustic signal intended to be actuated when a fish is caught, means being provided to ensure the functioning of this signal during a pull exerted on the line by the captured fish and to brake the drum on its shaft.

The apparatus shown is intended to be attached to a boat for trolling; it comprises a drum 1 around which can wind and unwind a line not shown. This drum 1 has two flanges 2 and 3 centered on a shaft 4 carried by a base 5; these flanges 2 and 3 are connected by means of parallel bars 6 fixed near the periphery of the flanges. One end of a flange 7 is fixed to the shaft 4, the other end of which is provided with a pin 8; to the latter is attached a flat rod 9 curved on itself and the ends of which are fixed to a bell 10; between the two curved parts of the rod 9 is housed one end of a rod 11, the other end of which is clamped in an elastic part 12 fixed to the shaft 4.
The doorbell 10 is adapted to its axis so as to be able to oscillate only in the direction of rotation of the drum 1, that is to say so as to be insensitive to the lateral sway of the boat of the user.
A pusher 13 is fitted through the flange 2, the rod 14 of which is intended to come into contact with one of the ends of the part 12 when it comes to shaking the bell 10. In order to immobilize the pusher 13 , the rod 14 of the latter is provided with a groove 15 in which one of the ends of a tenon 16 housed in a nut 17 fixed to the flange 2 is constantly pressed; to this end, this tenon is subjected to the action of a spring 18, one of the ends of which bears against a gasket 19 provided at the periphery of the flange 2.
Each flange 2 and 3 comprises, at its periphery, a groove in which is housed an annular protective lining 19 made of leather.
A plate 20 of plastic material is fixed concentrically to the shaft 4 on the outer face of the flange 2; a metal backing plate 21, capable of being pressed against the plate 20 under the effect of a nut 22 screwed onto the shaft 4, is placed between the plate 20 and the nut 22.
Each of the flanges 2 and 3 has at its periphery a groove 23 in which the corresponding gasket 19 is housed, the wall of this groove acting as a rib.
One end of a line, not shown, being fixed to drum 1 and its other end provided with a bait and a hook being submerged to the desired depth. the device shown operates as follows:
The pusher 13 is moved so that its rod 14 abuts against the end opposite to the rod 11 of the part 12; therefore, the drum 1 is immobilized, the boat carrying the apparatus is actuated and moves while driving the aforementioned line; As soon as a fish is caught with the hook, it pulls the drum 1, the pusher 13 of which activates the part 12 and, consequently, the bell 10, to oscillate.
The nut 22 makes it possible to tighten the counterplate 21 against the plate 20 and to immobilize the drum 1 on its shaft 4.
