Description

Nisclivorriclleung for explosion engines. The present invention relates to a mixing device for explosion engines, with the purpose of achieving better utilization and combustion of the fuel by more intensive mixing of the fuel-air mixture and thereby saving fuel.

The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment of the mixing device according to the invention.

Fig. 1 shows the device in plan view, while Fig. 2 it is installed in a suction tube of an explosion engine represents.

The device consists of a flange 1, expediently made of aluminum, from which sectors 2 are partially cut out and bent out of the plane of the flange. As a result, who the flow openings 3 for the fuel-air mixture> formed. Each of the sec gates is divided into two parts 2a and 2b and the two parts are inclined in different directions, the part 2a having a slight curvature.

The device shown in Fig. 1 is to be built on the type shown in Fig. 2 in the intake manifold 4 of an explosion engine. 5 are seals which give the flange 1 a better hold and seal the suction tube from the outside.

The operation of the device described is as follows: The flowing in the direction of the arrow Ge mixture of air and an atomized liquid fuel, for. B. gasoline is strongly swirled by the bent out sectors 2, so that a more intimate mixture of the fuel with the air is achieved. This results in better utilization of the fuel in the cylinders of the engine, thereby saving fuel.

Of course, if there are several intake manifolds in an engine, such a device must be built into each so that the desired effect can be achieved.
