Tubenhalter.
Tube holder.
The invention relates to a tube holder. This is intended to hold tubes for toothpastes, skin and shaving creams, mustard, etc., which are used in daily use, in which the contents are pressed out by hand pressure on the soft tube walls.
The inconveniences that essentially exist when using such tubes, such as incomplete emptying, unaesthetic deformations, damage to the tube walls, are eliminated according to the invention in that a pressing device is provided for emptying the tube in connection with a container for receiving and securing the tube. Here, the arrangement can preferably be made such that the container consists of a sleeve-like body which is designed to support and guide the pressing device and one end of which is open for the purpose of inserting the tube, while the other end has means for fastening the tube to it has its upper end.
The accompanying drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the tube holder with different fastening devices for the tube and different pressing devices.
1 and 2 show the holder of one example in section in front and side views of the tube.
FIG. 3 is a cross section taken along line a-a of FIG. 2.
4 and 5 show corresponding views in section of another embodiment.
FIG. 6 is a section along line b-b of FIG. 4.
Fig. 7 shows a section along the line c-c of FIGS. 4 and
8 shows a section along line d-d in FIG. 4.
In the example of FIGS. 1 to 3, each holder consists of a tubular container 1, the lower end of which is open, while the upper end has a conical constriction 2 and an axial opening 3. The conicity of the container constriction corresponds to the conicity of the upper one Part 4 of the tube 5, so that when the tube 5 is inserted into the container 1 in such a way that the threaded closure nipple 6 emerges at the top, the narrowed container wall 2 rests against the tube part 4. A nut 7 is used to fasten the tube to the container, the internal thread of which corresponds to the thread of the closure nipple 6 and one end of which corresponds to the conically tapered container end 2.
The tube 5 is now attached to the container in such a way that the tube 5, as shown, is inserted into the container 1 until the nipple 6 looks beyond the opening 3. The nut 7 is now screwed onto the nipple 6, as a result of which the conical tube part 4 comes to lie snugly against the container constriction 2, whereupon the previously removed closure 8 can be screwed onto the nipple 6 again.
The pressing device for emptying the tube 5 clamped in the container 1 consists in the present example of an annular sleeve 9, which can be pushed into the container sleeve 1 and is kept in this guide, as well as a bolt 10 rotatably mounted in a transverse bore in the sleeve walls 9, which is connected with a slot 11 (Fig. 2 and 3) is provided, which is intended to receive the flattened tube end 5a. The bolt 10, which is extended on one side, is guided in a longitudinal slot 12 of the container and provided with a rotary knob 13.
The use and operation of the press device is as follows:
After the tube has been fixed in the container in the manner explained above, the sleeve 9 is pushed into the container from below; then the bolt 10 with the rotary knob 13 is inserted through the slot 12 into the transverse bores of the sleeve 9 and the whole thing is pushed upwards until the tube end 5a enters the slot 11 of the bolt 10. If one now wants to squeeze some paste out of the tube, the rotary knob is turned, whereby the tube end 5a winds up on the bolt 10 and presses the corresponding contents of the tube out of the nipple 6 which has been freed from the closure 8.
Every time you want to squeeze out some paste, the knob is turned accordingly, the bolt 10 winding up until it has reached the top of the slot 12. which position corresponds to the pressed tube.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 8, the tube is fastened by claws 14 arranged in the upper end of the container (FIG. 7), the three of which are rotatable about the pins 16 on the container front wall 15. The claws 14 are moved by a cap 18 which is held on the end of the container by a snap ring 19 engaging in its rim 17. The cap 18 protecting the claws 14 against falling out is provided with recesses 20 which are designed as guides for the claws.
The tube 5 is now attached to the container in such a way that when the tube is inserted into the container 1 in the manner shown in FIGS. 4 and 7, the ring 17, 18 is rotated so that the control surfaces 20 engage the claws 14 are pressed against the nipple 6 and hold it respectively. hold tight.
In this example, the pressing device consists of a slotted spring sleeve 21, which supports a roller 23 and 24 on each side of the slot 22. The rollers are connected to one another by meshing cogs 23a, 24a. One roller 24 is elongated, carries a rotary knob 25 and is guided in a longitudinal slot 26 of the container 1.
To squeeze paste out of the tube, the pair of rollers is brought up to the flattened tube end 5a. As a result of the resilience of the sleeve 21, the rollers 23, 24 give way and grasp the tube end 5a. When the knob 25 is turned, the rollers 23, 24 pull up on the tube and squeeze it out.
In this example, the container 1 has a screw closure with a standing surface at the lower end. The llalter can be stored or set up in this way, which is space-saving compared to the lying position.
With normalized threaded nipples 6, for example, the tube could be fastened in the container in that the opening 3 at the narrowed container end has an internal thread so that the tube can be fastened directly to the container.
