Beim Entwurf werden cri = c,a ange nommen. Ferner wird die Differenz zwischen Eintritts- und Austrittsdrall über die Schau fellänge, von i nach a, als konstant angesetzt, also dc" .
r = konst.

Guide vane bent from sheet metal for agial blowers. Guide wheels for axial fans have so far either been cast in one piece or designed in such a way that individual bent sheet metal blades are cast between an inner and an outer ring, similar to the Francis turbine runners. In the case of impellers with low loads, a stator blade is generally sufficient, in which the blade profile is the same on all radii, so that the sheet metal blade only simply curves ge, so it has to be part of a cylinder jacket surface.
In the case of more heavily loaded impellers, however, it is necessary that the blade profile of the stator changes along the half-knife, as will be explained in more detail below.
In general, an impeller is designed so that the difference between the inlet and outlet swirl is constant. Therefore, the difference in the circumferential components of the absolute speed near the hub must be greater than near the outer rim, and for the same reason the blade entry angle of the stator blades must gradually decrease from the hub to the outer rim.
In order for this requirement to be met for a stator blading, in which the blades are made from cast sheet metal blades, the blades would have to be given a spatial curvature in a blade block, as is customary in the manufacture of sheet metal blades for Francis turbine runners.
However, as is well known, such a blade block is only right to manufacture permanently and also only economical if large numbers of guide vanes are to be bent onto it. The invention is characterized in that the simply curved guide vane is cut off obliquely at the inlet in order to achieve variable vane angles.
The blade curvature is expediently chosen as a circular arc. Then the blade is a part of a circular cylinder jacket or circular cone jacket and can therefore be easily formed by bending or rolling.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. It shows: Fig. 1 two sections through the impeller blade in Fig: \, close to the (i) and all of the outside (a) , with the associated speed triangles, Fig. 2 the elevation of the guide vane according to the invention together with the housing. Impeller and inner ring, and Fig. 3 the floor plan for Fig. \ ?.
Fig. 1 briefly explains how the angles ssli and ss,., Are found in the design of a fan. A cross section of the impeller blade A is shown at i near the impeller blade B and one at cc on the very outside with the associated speed triangle.
In the triangles means: Uli, ui ", peripheral speed of the impeller blade at i and a, cli, ou, absolute entry speed at i and a, c2i, c2a, absolute exit speed at i and a, dc "i, dc" "difference of the circumferential components of the absolute input and exit speed at i and a.
In the design, cri = c, a are assumed. Furthermore, the difference between the inlet and outlet swirl over the length of the show, from i to a, is set to be constant, ie dc ".
r = const. Accordingly, dc "i must be larger than dc" ". Since cli and dc" i respectively. ei and 4c "" are perpendicular to one another, the direction of c2i and c2 ,. This direction is bezw by angle ssli. ss ,,, determined against the fan axis.
It can be seen from the drawing that the angle ss., I is larger than ss ,, because in the velocity triangles dc "i is greater than 4c" ".
The angles ssli and ssl ,, found from the speed triangles are realized on the guide vane in FIGS. 2 and 3.
