Description

Drehelastische Kreuzgelenkkupplung.

Torsionally flexible universal joint coupling. The subject of the invention is a rotationally elastic universal joint coupling for shafts and the like torque transmitting machine parts, which allows an all-round inclination of the coupled parts and an elastic Ver rotation of the same against each other.

The coupling according to the invention is that between the two coupling parts, parallel to the geometric axis of the coupling, torsion spring lamellae are displaceable in the axial direction and pivotable with their ends about axes perpendicular to each other and to the geometric coupling axis.

In the drawing, the subject of the invention was in one embodiment in FIGS. 1 and 2 in two main sections and in Fig. 3 in side view.

The torsion spring lamellae 1, which are arranged parallel to the geometric axis of the coupling in two systems, have laterally widened, heads rounded on the sides, which are each supported in one of the coupling bodies 5. The axis of the heads is perpendicular to the axis of the coupling. The lamellar heads lie between a pivotable center piece 2 to the coupling axis A-A and slide pieces 3 which have a cylindrically curved outer surface by means of which they lie in the corresponding trough-shaped outer pieces 4. The axis of these cylindrical bearing surfaces is perpendicular to the axis of the disk heads and perpendicular to the axis of the coupling.

A mutual shift respectively. Tilting of the two coupling halves in the plane of FIG. 1 is therefore possible without the lamellae being stressed in terms of bending. Likewise, a free shift can bezw. The coupling halves are inclined towards one another in the plane of FIG. 3, since free mobility is made possible by the lamellar heads rounded on the sides. The coupling bodies have 5 flanges 5 'for a fixed connection with the adjoining shaft pieces. The outer pieces 4 are secured against displacement on the one hand by the screwed-in rings 6 and on the other hand by the screwed-in cover 7.

Spring circlips 8 secure the threaded rings 6.
