Threading device for sewing needles. The invention relates to a Einfädelvor direction for sewing needles with a transverse to the sewing needle displaceable tongue, by means of wel cher the thread is ben scho through the eye of the needle. In a known Einfädelvor direction of this type there is the disadvantage that the device must be attached to the needle bar of a sewing machine, the assembly can only be done by a Faohmann, and that only a certain mean thread thickness can be used.
The invention aims to avoid the disadvantages of the known device he mentioned. The threading device according to the invention has two resiliently pressed against each other plates, which between see at least one guide channel for receiving a needle and for holding it in the A threading position.
The guide channel preferably has an oval cross-section so that the needle comes into the correct position by turning it slightly during insertion under the action of the resilient plates.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the counter-dam of the invention, namely Fig. A section, while FIG. 2 is a. Diagram of the device illustrates and FIG. 3 shows a detail of the device.
1 with the housing is referred to, on wel chem by means of the rivets 5 two plates 2 and 3 are attached, which are firmly connected to each other at 4 and protrude over the housing 1 out. For the threading of thick and thin threads two threading tongues 6 respectively are spaced between the plates. 7 provided, which are guided between the plates. For this purpose, the plat th are provided with corresponding channels 8. At the top, the plates, as can be seen from FIG. 1, form a channel 10a which serves as a guide when inserting the thread into the threading position.
The plate 3 has towards the side a wing 3a which cooperates with a movable plate 11. This movable plate 11 is guided on bolts 12 and is constantly pressed against the wing 3a of the plate 3 by springs 13. Between the mentioned wing and the plate 11 channels 14 are formed into which the threading needles 15 are inserted, up to a stop 16 of the plate 2. The channels 14 have such a Ansbildung that the usual widening on Eye of the needle 17 automatically receives its agile position necessary for the introduction of the thread and also maintains it until it hits the Anscblag 16. In order to facilitate the insertion of the needles, he extensions 18 are provided at the front of the channels 14.
One channel 14 is used to receive thin, the other to receive thick needles.
The tongues 6 and 7 have a notch 19 at the top for easier gripping of the thread 10. They are connected at the bottom at 20 to one end each of a lever 22 rotatably mounted at 21 on the plate 3, the other end of which is designed as a handle 22ca which protrudes beyond the housing 1, as FIGS. 2 and 3 show . Springs 2 constantly hold the levers 22 and thus the tongues 6 and 7 in the lower starting position (rest position). The widening of the tongues 6 and 7 in the area of the notch 19 is supported against the plates 2 and 3 in this position.
The handles of the lever 22 are to be provided with the labels "thick" and "thin" to facilitate finding the channel for the stronger needles and those for the thin needles.
The threading process takes place in such a way that you first insert the thread 10 into the channel 10a until it rests on the tongues 6 and 7 and then insert a sewing needle 1 5 corresponding to the thread size into one of the channels 14 until the eye-side end against the stop 16 pushes. The associated lever 22 is then pressed down on the outside, as a result of which the associated tongue pushes the thread 10 across the eye of the needle 17. Then the free end of the thread is pulled through by hand and the needle is pulled out of its holding ring.
