Gaserhitzer.
Gas heater. The invention relates to a gas heater, in particular for thermal power plants, in which at least the greater part of a gaseous working medium writes a circuit and is to be heated by external heat supply.
There are known gas heaters in which the working fluid to be heated flows through a main by radiation and a heating system heated by Be touching in two Paral lelströmen, namely the main heating system heated by radiation in direct current and the heated by contact. System in countercurrent to the fire gases. In each of these heating systems, the part of the working medium flowing through is heated to the desired end temperature.
Furthermore, it has already been proposed that the heating system, which is mainly heated by radiation, be connected to the heating system heated by contact so that the parts of the working medium emerging from these two systems get into a common system heated by contact and only then reach the desired end - temperature can be heated.
In these known designs, the outlet of the working fluid heated to the final temperature always takes place at the top of the heater. In addition, even with the second type mentioned, one of the working medium flows to be heated often enters one of the heating systems from above.
In all of these types of construction there are long outflows and possibly also long inflow lines for the working fluid and, associated therewith, all sorts of structural difficulties due to the heat expansion conditions of such lines.
If the final temperature of the working medium is high, so that heat-resistant and therefore expensive materials are to be used for the lines used for guiding it, it is also disadvantageous if such lines are to be long, quite apart from the fact that long lines have Heat losses through radiation can also be greater.
Long lines also cause greater pressure losses, which is particularly important in the case of thermal power plants of the type mentioned at the beginning, since in these, every pressure loss occurring in the circuit has an equally sensitive effect on the overall efficiency of the plant. Finally, in the machine or gas heating room of such systems, pipes that run high upwards are also a disadvantage from an aesthetic point of view.
In order to remedy these inconveniences as far as possible in a gas heater, which has at least one heating system that is mainly heated by radiation and at least one by touch, the outlet of the working fluid heated to the final temperature now takes place at the bottom of the gas heater according to the invention. If the heating systems are connected in series with respect to the working medium to be heated, the entry of the working medium to be heated into one of the heating systems connected in series can also expediently follow at the bottom of the gas heater.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is illustrated in a simplified representation.
In the figure, 1 denotes the combustion chamber of a heater A, not shown, of a heating device, not shown, in which air describes a cycle as the working medium, being brought to a higher pressure in at least one compressor, in the heater A by external means Heat supply is heated indirectly and then expanded in at least one turbine that delivers power to both the compressor and a utility power receiver. The combustion chamber I is lined with 2 pipes. through which the air to be heated in the circuit flows. A part of the heat contained in the flue gases is in this combustion chamber 1 mainly by radiation treatment, but partly also given off by contact with the pipes 2.
From the fire room 1, the fire gases get into a two-th room 3, in which a heating system 4 is arranged, to which the fire gases give off heat through contact. A further heating system 6 is arranged in a room 5 connected downstream of room 3 with respect to the direction of flow of the fire gases, and finally, a heating system 8 is arranged in a room 7 that is connected downstream of room 5. The heating systems 6 and 8 who also heated by touch.
The air to be heated in the heater A flows through a line 9 and is then divided at point 10 into two parallel flows, one of which is in direct current with the flue gases, the heating system formed by the pipes 2, mainly heated by radiation, and the other In direct current to the Raueligases the heated by contact heating system 8 flows through. The air flow emerging from the heating system 8 passes through a line 11 into the heating system 6, which it flows through in direct current with the flue gases, and then through a line 12 into the heating system 4, which is located in the furnace 1 ziinäelist.
The heating system 4 is simultaneously also flowed through by the air stream heated in the tubes 2, which flows to it through a line 13. The entire amount of air to be brought to a higher temperature in the heater A is brought to the ver longte end temperature in this heating system 4 and then occurs at 14 at the bottom of the heater in a flow line 15 also arranged below it.
If it is possible to manage with two heating systems heated by contact, in which case the heating system 8 of the figure can be dispensed with, the working medium to be heated then enters both heating systems 2 and 6 connected in parallel, also at the bottom of the gas heater.
If the heater has only one heating system, which is mainly heated by radiation, and a system connected in series with this with respect to the working medium to be heated, heated by contact, that is, if the heating systems 6 and 8 shown in the figure are omitted, then take place - Probably the entry of the working medium into and its exit from the gas heater at the bottom of the latter.
The invention can also be used when more than one heating systems that are mainly heated by radiation and more than three by touch are provided. Instead of air, any other gaseous working medium can be heated in a gas heater of the type described. The gas heater according to the invention can also be used for example for heating blast furnace air.
