Boîte. L'objet de l'invention est une boîte pour des objets en forme de bâtons et comprenant un corps et un couvercle articulé sur ce corps. La boîte est caractérisée par une lame élas tique, disposée à l'intérieur du corps de la boîte, dans le voisinage d'une paroi de celui-ci et parallèlement à cette paroi, lame dont une extrémité est fixée rigidement au fond de la boîte et dont l'autre extrémité est reliée à un point du couvercle voisin de l'articulation de celui-ci, le tout de façon que la lame est appliquée contre le fond de la boîte lorsque celle-ci est fermée et qu'elle est soulevée lors de l'ouverture du couvercle, dans le but qu'un des objets contenus dans la boîte et placé sur la lame élastique soit soulevé par celle-ci et puisse être commodément saisi.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en plan la montrant en position d'emploi, et la fig. 2 est une coupe par II-II de fig. 1.
La boîte représentée est destinée à contenir particulièrement des cigarettes. La forme d'exécution représentée a la forme d'un prisme droit rectangulaire et com prend un corps 1 et un couvercle 2, articulé sur ce corps par un de ses longs côtés; le corps 1 présente un fond 3 et des parois latérales 4.
A l'intérieur du corps 1, dans le voisinage immédiat d'un petit côté du rectangle et parallèlement à celui-ci, est disposée une lame élastique 5 constitutée par un ressort- lame, fixé rigidement, par son extrémité oppo sée à l'articulation du couvercle, sur le fond 3, l'autre extrémité du ressort étant reliée, par l'intermédiaire d'une lanière 6 de tissu souple, collé, par exemple, sur le ressort, au couvercle 2 en un point 7 de celui-ci placé dans le voisinage de l'articulation sur le corps 1; la longueur de cette lanière est telle que, la boîte étant fermée, la lame élastique 5 est appliquée sur le fond 3 du corps.
La boîte contient des cigarettes 8 placées entre des parois 9 disposées parallèlement à la lame élastique 5 et formées par des plis d'une feuille de papier collée sur le fond 3 de la boîte, de telle manière que ces parois sont articulées sur ce fond et peuvent être rabattues vers celui-ci. t?n faux couvercle 10, placé entre le couvercle 2 et les cigarettes 8, est articulé sur la paroi latérale 4 opposée â celle dans le voisinage de laquelle est placée la lame élastique 5; ce faux couvercle s'étend sur toute la surface de la boîte et présente des rebords 11 par lesquels il s'em boîte dans le corps 1; il présente, en outre, une ouverture rectangulaire 12 et, au-dessus de la lame 5, une échancrure 13.
La manière d'utiliser la boîte est la suivante La boîte est remplie de cigarettes 8. Avant de l'ouvrir, on l'incline de manière â faire descendre les cigarettes pour que l'une d'elles vienne se placer sur la lame élastique 5; puis on ouvre la boîte. En ce faisant, on tire, au moyen de la lanière 6 glissant sur le bord du corps 1, sur l'extrémité de la lame élastique 5, ce qui soulève celle-ci en la défor mant élastiquement puisque son autre extré mité est fixée rigidement sur le fond; la lame soulève la cigarette qu'elle porte, ce qui permet, grâce à l'échancrure 13 du faux couvercle 10, de saisir commodément la cigarette.
En refermant le couvercle, on relâche la lame 5 qui reprend automatiquement sa forme et sa place contre le fond 3.
Le faux couvercle a pour but d'empêcher les cigarettes de chevaucher les unes sur les autres lorsqu'elles se déplacent vers la laine 5, tandis que les parois 9 les empêchent de se placer obliquement par rapport à cette lame; les cigarettes se déplacent en rabattant ces parois contre le fond 3, l'élasticité du papier dont ces parois sont formées est suffi sante pour celles-ci se replacent automatique ment dans une position approximativement perpendiculaire au fond 3 après le passage des cigarettes.
La boîte décrite et représentée pourrait contenir d'autres objets que des cigarettes, par exemple, des cigarettes, des bâtons de chocolat, etc.; elle peut, en outre, être exécutée en différentes matières telles que carton, bois rares, métaux précieux ou non; dans ce dernier cas, la boîte peut être utilisée comme étui.

The box shown is intended to contain cigarettes in particular. The embodiment shown has the shape of a right rectangular prism and takes a body 1 and a cover 2, articulated on this body by one of its long sides; the body 1 has a bottom 3 and side walls 4.
Inside the body 1, in the immediate vicinity of a small side of the rectangle and parallel to it, is arranged an elastic blade 5 constituted by a leaf spring, rigidly fixed by its end opposite to the articulation of the cover, on the bottom 3, the other end of the spring being connected, by means of a strap 6 of flexible fabric, glued, for example, on the spring, to the cover 2 at a point 7 thereof ci placed in the vicinity of the joint on the body 1; the length of this strap is such that, with the box closed, the elastic blade 5 is applied to the bottom 3 of the body.
The box contains cigarettes 8 placed between walls 9 arranged parallel to the elastic blade 5 and formed by folds of a sheet of paper glued to the bottom 3 of the box, in such a way that these walls are articulated on this bottom and can be folded towards it. a false cover 10, placed between the cover 2 and the cigarettes 8, is hinged on the side wall 4 opposite to that in the vicinity of which the elastic blade 5 is placed; this false cover extends over the entire surface of the box and has flanges 11 through which it fits into the body 1; it also has a rectangular opening 12 and, above the blade 5, a notch 13.
The way to use the box is as follows The box is filled with cigarettes 8. Before opening it, tilt it so as to lower the cigarettes so that one of them comes to rest on the elastic blade. 5; then we open the box. In doing so, one pulls, by means of the strap 6 sliding on the edge of the body 1, on the end of the elastic blade 5, which lifts the latter by deforming it elastically since its other end is rigidly fixed. on the background; the blade lifts the cigarette it carries, which allows, thanks to the notch 13 of the false cover 10, to conveniently grip the cigarette.
By closing the cover, the blade 5 is released, which automatically resumes its shape and its place against the bottom 3.
The purpose of the false cover is to prevent the cigarettes from overlapping one another when they move towards the wool 5, while the walls 9 prevent them from being placed obliquely with respect to this blade; the cigarettes move by folding these walls against the bottom 3, the elasticity of the paper from which these walls are formed is sufficient for them to automatically replace themselves in a position approximately perpendicular to the bottom 3 after the cigarettes have passed.
The box described and shown could contain objects other than cigarettes, for example, cigarettes, chocolate sticks, etc .; it can also be made in different materials such as cardboard, rare woods, precious metals or not; in the latter case, the box can be used as a case.
