Stenoblock. Der gewöhnliche Stenoblock hat den Nach teil, dass man ihn beim Übertragen des Steno gramms in die Schreibmaschine nicht in für das Lesen bequeme Schräglage stellen kann, es sei denn, dass man ihn am schrägen Pa pierhalter der Schreibmaschine anbringt.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft nun einen Stenoblock, bei dem dieser Mangel nicht vorhanden ist. Der Stenoblock gemäss der Erfindung besitzt nämlich zwei steife, ge lenkig zusammenhängende Deckel, welche am untern Rand mit einem Gleitschutz versehen sind, und von denen der eine den Papier stapel trägt, der andere zum ersteren für das Übertragen eines Stenogramms in die Schreib maschine zur Bildung einer hinteren Stütze derart einstellbar ist, dass die beiden Deckel, in Schrägstellung zueinander übergeführt, ein gleitsicheres, den Block in zum Ablesen ge eigneter Schrägstellung haltendes Standgestell bilden.
Zweckmässig sind die beiden Deckel als Unterdeckel und Oberdeckel angeordnet, zwischen denen die Blätter des Papierstapels i umlegbar eingeheftet sind, wobei der Ober deckel zur Bildung der hintern Stütze nach hinten umgelegt und schräggestellt wird.
Vorteilhaft sind die Blätter des Papier stapels nicht nur wie üblich an dem sie tra genden Deckel umlegbar, sondern auch aus wechselbar eingeheftet.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegen standes mit Unter- und Oberdeckel durch Fig. 1 in geschlossenem Zustand des Steno blocks und durch Fig. 2 im Zustand des Ge brauchs beim Übertragen eines Stenogramms in die Schreibmaschine dargestellt.
Der gezeichnete Stenoblock besitzt zwei Deckel, einen Unterdeckel a und einen mit diesem durch ein Rückenstück c gelenkig ver bundenen Oberdeckel b. Der Unterdeckel a trägt den Papierstapel x. Nahe. beim obern Rande ist der Unterdeckel a mit einer an sich bekannten, aus Teilbügeln bestehenden Auf reihvorriehtung d (Fig. 2) zum auswechsel baren Aufreihen der Schreibblätter des Pa pierstapels versehen. Diese Vorrichtung, die übrigens auch am Rückenstück c vorgesehen und anders als gezeichnet ausgeführt sein könnte, gestattet ein leichtes Umlegen der einzelnen Schreibblätter des Papierstapels. Am untern Rande sind die Deckel a und b mit daran befestigten Gleitschutzstreifen f', die z.
B. aus Gummi, Leder etc. bestehen können, ausgestattet.
Will man den auf dem Stenoblock aufge nommenen Schriftsatz auf eine Schreibma schine übertragen, so schlägt man den Ober deckel b zum Unterdeckel a nach hinten in Schrägstellung zurück und richtet den Unter deckel a mit dem Papierstapel schräg auf, so dass man ein den Papierstapel in zum Lesen geeigneter Schrägstellung haltendes, staffeleiartiges Standgestell erhält, wie dies in Fig. 2 der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, das vermöge der untern Gleitschutzstreifen f gegen Rutschen auf derUnterlage gesichert ist.
Die Deckel a, b bestehen aus verhältnis mässig steifem Material, z. B. aus Karton, Holz, Metall, Blech etc. An Stelle der Gleit schutzstreifen f, die sich auf die ganze Breite der Deckel a, b erstrecken, wie auf der Zeich nung dargestellt, könnten auch nur Teilstücke von solchen oder Stollen dem untern Rande der Deckel entlang verteilt angeordnet, oder auch nur Eckstücke als Gleitschutzstollen vorgesehen sein, oder aber die Deckel könnten am untern Rand mit einer gleitsicheren Rand einfassung versehen sein.

In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown with lower and upper cover by Fig. 1 in the closed state of the steno block and by Fig. 2 in the state of use when transferring a shorthand in the typewriter.
The stenoblock drawn has two covers, a lower cover a and an upper cover b articulated with this by a back piece c connected. The lower cover a carries the paper stack x. Near. at the upper edge of the lower cover a is provided with a per se known, consisting of partial brackets on series device d (Fig. 2) for the interchangeable line up of the writing sheets of the paper stack. This device, which incidentally could also be provided on the back piece c and designed differently than shown, allows the individual writing sheets of the stack of paper to be easily turned over. At the lower edge are the covers a and b with attached anti-skid strips f ', the z.
