Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Anthraehinonfarbstoi%s.            Gegenstand    vorliegender     Erfindung        ist     die Herstellung eines     Anthrachinonfarbstof-          fes    aus     1-Oxäthylamino-4-bromanthrachinon     und einem     Phosphortrihalogenid,        vorzug,

  5-          weise        Phosphortrichlorid.    Die Komponenten       Urerden    im Verhältnis 1     Mol        Oxäthylamino-          4-bromanthrachinon    zu     mindestens    1     Mol          Phosphortrihalogenid    so lange     miteinander     erhitzt, bis die     Reaktionsmischung    bei Be  handeln mit     wässrigem    Alkali völlig in Lö  sung geht.

       Anschliessend    wird die gesamte  Reaktionsmischung     mit        wä.ssrigem    Natron  alkali, z. B.     Sodalösung,    behandelt. Die Um  setzung des     Phospherhalogenids    mit dem       1-O#xäthylamino-4A-bromanthrachinon    wird       zweckmässig    in einem     indifferenten,    Verdün  nungsmittel, wie Chlorbenzol,     Chlortoluol,          Nitrobenzol    oder     dergleichen,        vorgenommen.     



  Der entstehende Farbstoff ist ein Na  triumsalz,     atellt    ein rotes Pulver dar     und     färbt Wolle in blauroten Tönen an.    <I>Beispiel:</I>       Erwärmt    man     1-Oxäthylamino-4-bram-          anthrachinon    in der     fünffachen.    Menge     Phos-          phortrichlorid    kurz auf 70   C, so fällt beim  Erkalten das in roten Nadeln kristallisie  rende, noch halogenhaltige U     msetzungspro-          ,dukt    aus, das,

   man auf einer     Glasnutscha    von       Phosphortrichlorid        abtrennt.    Der     NutsGh-          kuchen    wird in     kaltem    Wasser     aufge-          schlemmt,    dem ein     natronalkalisch    reagie  rendes Mittel zugesetzt ist.     Hierbei    entsteht  das     Natriumsal.z        .des    Farbstoffes, das auf  Wolle blaurote     Töne    liefert.

   Die Substanz  kann ohne vorherige Isolierung durch Um  setzung     mit    den verschiedensten Aminen in  violette bis .grünblaue Farbstoffe übergeführt  werden.
