1Vlotorgesteuerte Drosselklappe.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs, gegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Fig. 1 ist ein Aufriss der Drosselklappe, wobei der Motor nicht dargestellt ist; Fig. 2 zeigt die Drosselklappe von der Seite ,gesehen; Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie III-III in Fig. 1;
Fig. 4 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie.
1 Motor-controlled throttle valve. In central heating systems, throttle valves built into the hot water pipes are used to regulate the temperature in the rooms to be heated, which are opened or closed by a motor controlled by a heat regulator when two specific temperature limits are exceeded.
With both previously known devices of this type, it was necessary to provide switches for opening and closing the throttle valve, which, when the motor is switched on, rotates it one time in one direction and the next time in the other., Circuit and design of the like throttle valves are relatively complicated.
The invention now relates to a motor-controlled throttle valve which enables, by means of a device built into the drive connection between the motor and the shut-off element, to open this in one direction of rotation and to close it in the other without a change
the direction of rotation of the motor is required.
An embodiment of the invention, the subject is shown in the drawing. Figure 1 is an elevation of the throttle with the engine not shown; Fig. 2 shows the throttle valve from the side; Fig. 3 is a section on the line III-III in Fig. 1;
Fig. 4 is a section along the line. IV-IV in Figure 1; 5 and 6 show a circuit diagram of the electrical part, with the throttle valve in its two end positions.
The flap 1 is rotatably mounted in a pipe section 25 by means of an axis 1 a. It is driven by a motor (not shown) in the following way: shaft - 2, pinion 3, gear train 4-8.
The wheel 8 sits on one end of a shaft 10 carrying three cams 9a-9e, which is mounted between two plates 11 and 12, and on the side of the last-mentioned plate a spur wheel 1, 3 carries. This is in engagement with a toothed wheel 14, which in turn meshes with the same wheel 15.
Each of the wheels 14 and 15 has a roller 14a and 15a on the side, which work together with a lever 17. The lever 17 sits on the free end of the axis la, which is supported in a plate 18 outside the pipe socket 25.
On the cams 9a, 9b, 9c each a contact spring pair 19, 20 and 21. The first two are, as shown in Fig. 5 and 6: is shown in the circuit -des schematically, dargestell th, on one to a power source Leading line 24 connected to motor 23. A heat regulator 22 is also located in the motor circuit.
The switching contact pair 21 is used to connect a signal line (not shown). The cam disks 9a and 9b which actuate the switching contacts 19 and 20 are rotated by 180 on the shaft 10.
At both ends of the lever 17 there is arranged a track 17b which can swing around a pin 17a, with which the rollers 14a and 15a come into contact and which are each pressed by a spring 17e against a stop 17d provided at each end of the lever.
The operation of the device described is as follows: When, as shown in FIG. 5, the throttle valve is open, the contact spring pair 19 is closed and the contact spring pair 0 is open. If, as a result of the rising temperature in the rooms to be heated, the heat regulator switches to the dotted position, the motor circuit is closed via the pair of contacts 19 and the Ho tor in.
Gear. Set. The wheels 13, 14 and 15 are driven in the direction indicated by arrows in FIG. 5 by the drive connection described.
During this movement, the roller 14a comes into contact with one of the raceways 17b and takes the lever 17 with it in the opposite direction of the clock pointer until the throttle valve has assumed the closed position shown in FIG. In this position of the lever 17, the roller 14a has not yet left the track, but still has to travel a small distance on this.
Since the lever can no longer rotate and the running surface of the track 17b is not in the direction of movement of the roller 14a (FIG. 6), the corresponding spring 17e is compressed so that the roller 14a on the track 17b can pass. In this way a tight, complete closure of the flap is achieved.
The ratios between the engine and the camshaft are selected so that at this moment the cams have assumed the position shown in FIG. 6, whereby the contact spring pair 20 is closed and the other, 19, is opened and as a result the engine is switched off becomes.
If the temperature in the rooms to be heated now drops and the switching contact of the heat regulator subsequently returns to the position dotted in FIG. 6, the motor circuit is closed again via the pair of contact springs. The motor comes back into operation and turns, the wheels 13, 14 and 15 in the same direction as before.
The roller 15a now comes into contact with the slideway 17b of the lever 17 and takes it with it in the sense of the arrow drawn in Fig. 6 until the throttle flap rests against the wall of the pipe socket 25 with a stop 1b and the hot-warm circulation resumes free gives.
In this position of the throttle valve, the socket disks have likewise again reached the position shown in FIG. 5, so that the motor is switched off by opening the contacts 20. The drive ratios between camshaft and lever 17 are chosen so
that the switching contacts are opened or opened after a rotation of the lever 17 by approximately # 90 '. getting closed.
As can be seen from the above, the motor always rotates in the same direction, while the throttle valve is opened in one direction of rotation and closed in the other, following the lever device built into the drive connection between it and the motor. When you take the lever 17 move
the rollers 14a and 15a on their respective tracks first to the outside and leave them after reaching a certain position of the wheels 14, 15 against .die axis of rotation 1a of the lever 17.
The whole gear train is completed by a housing 26. A crank 27 which can be slipped onto the shaft of the wheel 5 made it possible to adjust the equipment and to operate it by hand in the event of the motor failing. The gear wheel 4 is provided with a mark which makes the position of the flap 1 visible through a window provided in the housing 26 and in the bearing plate 11.
Thanks to the springs arranged between the lever 17 and the driver rollers 14, 15a, an impact-free and noiseless opening and closing of the throttle valve is achieved.
It is clear that: the throttle valve according to the invention can also be used in systems other than central heating systems.
